PIPELINE LAYING/ INSTALLTION (SECTION-A: FROM DISPATCH TERMINAL TO SV-01(A) (APPROX. 9.4 KM))
PIPELINE LAYING/ INSTALLTION: Laying/ installation of coated/ bare line pipe, associated fittings and accessories, etc. as per specifications, drawings, other provisions of Contract and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge, including but not limited to carrying out the following: "Receiving and taking-over", handling, loading, transportation and unloading of Owner supplied externally & internally corrosion coated and bare line pipes from designated place(s) of issue/ dump site(s) to Contractor's own stock-yard(s)/ workshop(s)/ work-site(s) including stringing on the pipeline Right-of-Use (ROU)/ Right of way (ROW); "Receiving and taking over", handling, including loading and unloading, transportation of Owner supplied materials other than line pipe from Owner's designated place(s) of issue to worksite(s); Arrangement of all additional land required for Contractor's storage, fabrication, access for construction (other than Owner provided ROU/ ROW); supply of all materials (except Owner supplied materials), consumables, equipment, labour, etc; Staking and installation of construction markers, clearing, grubbing, grading (as required) of Right of Use/ Right of Way; Counting the number and type of trees cut in presence of DFO/ concerned authorities and keeping record thereof; Trenching to all depths and to a width to accommodate the pipeline and/ or optical fiber cable/ cable conduit as specified in scope document and as per the relevant standards, specifications, etc. by excavation in all types of soils (including soft/ hard rock), including blasting, chiseling or otherwise cutting etc.; providing trench padding as required with sand/ graded earth approved by Engineer-in Charge; Carrying out repairs of pipe and coating defects not attributable to Owner (i.e. defects occurring after "taking over" of pipes from Owner); Thorough internal cleaning of all pipes by suitable methods to remove debris, shots, grits etc. to the satisfaction of Engineer-in- Charge; Stringing of line pipes along ROU/ ROW including providing straw bags, soft padding/ sand padding; Aligning, bending, cutting and beveling (as required) of pipes for welding, installation of Induciton bend along the route, and field adjustments, NDT of re-bevelled area, welding, carrying out destructive/ non-destructive testing of welds as required including radiography and providing all requisite equipment, labor, supervision, materials, films, consumables, all facilities and personnel to process, develop, examine and interpret radiographs and other tests, as required; carrying out repairs of weld joints found defective by Engineer-In-Charge, carrying out re-radiography and other non-destructive tests as required on repaired joints, etc.; Installation of carrier pipe including concrete coated pipes (wherever required) at all crossings including roads/ canals/ nala/ water crossings etc. (except at major water and other crossings that are specifically covered separately in this document) by open cut or Jacking/ boring method including pre-testing as required; Carrying out installation of carrier pipe in the casing pipe at cased crossings (excluding supply and installation of casing pipes covered separately); Coating of all field weld joints , buried fittings (as applicable), valves (as applicable) etc.; Lowering the pipelines in trench including providing sand bag separators for parallel pipelines at the specified spacing (when applicable), providing required padding over and around the pipeline with sand/ graded material approved by Engineer-In-Charge (in rocky areas), supply and instalation of warning mat, backfilling with available, approved excavated material and/or other suitable soil approved by Engineer-In-Charge; Supply and installation of slope breaker as per specifications and drawings in steep slope areas, wherever required; Carrying out hydrostatic testing including air cleaning, flushing, filling, gauging, pressurization of complete pipeline in various test sections as approved by Engineer- In-Charge to the specified test pressure, providing all equipment, pumps, fittings, instruments, dead weight tester, all types of pigs etc., and services, supervision, labour, consumables, water including supply of corrosion inhibitor, air, etc. as required, locating of leaks and rectification of defects attributable to Contractor, re-testing after rectification, successful completion of hydrotesting of pipeline (De-watering covered else where in the SOR); All tie-ins (hook up), including the tie-in(s) with the pipeline/ piping installed by other contractor including cutting of test header, re-beveling as required; Carrying out all temporary, ancillary, auxiliary works and all incidental works required to make the pipeline ready for pre-commissioning; Repair of defects recorded during EGP/ gauge plate run or otherwise including cutting, beveling, welding, radiography, field joint coating (internal as well as external) etc; as applicable, Final clean-up and restoration of right of way/ right of use including obtaining NOC from respective statutory authorities as required and disposal of debris and returning all surplus material to designated disposal areas/ storage yard, as directed by Engineer-In-Charge; Restoration of land, facilities and boundary wall etc. at associated facilities dismantled/ damaged by the Contractor during construction; Obtaining work permits/ NOC from various statutory authorities having jurisdiction, before execution of the work, and complying with allstipulation/ conditions/ recommendation of the said authorities; Preparation of as-built drawings, pipe-book and other records. SOR shall be read in conjuction with scope of work, job specific requirements, specifications,standards, drawings and other provision of contract document. All above works for buried pipeline as per following details- Notes: 1. This item shall include any additional topographical & geotechnical investigations for local detours or at any other place as per scope of work, if required. 2. Contractor shall propose corrosion inhibitor for hydrotest and same shall be approved by Engineer-In-Charge.
Installation of Coated Line Pipes as per following details ( Pipe OD - 406.4 mm (16"), Wall Thickness - 11.13 mm, Pipe Grade - API 5L Gr X-65, PSL2 , External Coating - 3 LPE & Internal Epoxy Coated ) Note: Trench in all soft and hard rock incuding supply of Padding.
ANTI-BUOYANCY
CONTINUOUS CONCRETE COATING FOR ANTI-BUOYANCY: Unit rate for additional work over and above item no. 1 for supply of all consumables & materials and application of continuous concrete weight coating on pipes of all wall thicknesses and concrete coating of the field joints thereof, in all areas of work except major river crossings covered separately, and performing all works as per specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge and other provisions of Contract document.
Pipe as per following details: ( Pipe OD - 406.4 mm (16"), Wall Thickness - 11.13 mm, Minimum Conc.Coating Thickness - 50 mm)
GEO TEXTILE BAGS FOR ANTI-BUOYANCY: Unit rate for additional works over and above item no. 1 for design, manufacture and supply of Non - biodegradable geo-textile bags (made of polypropylene fabric) materials and installation of geo-textile bags duly filled with gravel/ stone ballast on pipelines of all wall thicknesses for anti buoyancy as per specification /Report /drawings, and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge and other provisions of the Contract document. Note: 1. This item shall be applicable for small crossings, i.e. drains, nalla etc and as per instructions of Engineer In-Charge. 2. Bags shall be procured from approved vendor only. 3. Spacing of bags shall be decided by the Contractor & approval of the same shall be taken by the Contractor from the Client/ Client's representative for 16"pipeline, and density of ballast gravel (2402 Kg/cubic meter) & weight (400 Kg). For one location total Nos of bags installed shall be considered as 1 Nos.

SADDLE WEIGHT: Unit rate for additional work over and above BOQ item no. 1 for supply of all consumables & materials and application of saddle weight on pipes of all wall thicknesses thereof, in all areas of work and performing all works as per standard Drawings and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge and other provisions of Contract document. Note: 1. This item shall be applicable for small crossings, i.e. drains, nalla etc and as per instructions of Engineer In-Charge. 2. Bag shall be procured from approved vendor only. 3. Spacing of saddle weight shall be decided by the Contractor & approval of the same shall be taken by the Contractor from the Client/ Client's representative for 16", and weight (282 Kg) as defined in Scope of work.

REPAIR OF DEFECTS (ATTRIBUTABLE TO OWNER): Repair of defects in pipes/ line pipes of all thicknesses and external coating noted at the time of taking delivery by Contractor, including performing all works as per specifications and directions of Engineer-In-Charge, supply of all repair material and inspection. REPAIR OF DEFECT IN PIPE: Repair of Defects in Pipe by Cutting and re-beveling including NDT of re-bevelled area & by Jack out (dents in bevels exceeding 3 mm in depth)

REPAIR OF HOLIDAY IN COATING: Supply of all coating repair materials as per the requirements of the relevant specifications, supply of all consumables, utilities, equipment, and all manpower required, pipe cleaning and surface preparation, repairing of coating defects (resulting in holiday in coating) and testing including all handling, transportation, etc. for line pipes, performing all works necessary for the completion of the works strictly in accordance with the relevant specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge. Note: This rate shall be applicable per sq. cm of the exposed steel.

REPAIR OF COSMETIC DEFECTS IN COATING: Supply of all coating repair materials as per the requirements of the relevant specifications, supply of all consumables, utilities, equipment, and all manpower required, pipe cleaning and surface preparation, repairing of coating defects (resulting in holiday in coating) and testing including all handling, transportation, etc. for line pipes, performing all works necessary for the completion of the works strictly in accordance with the relevant specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge. This rate shall be applicable per sq. cm of repair patch.

LEAKS/ BURSTS-PIPELINE (ATTRIBUTABLE TO OWNER)
MAJOR LEAK (DETECTED BY VISUAL METHOD): All works for locating major leak/ burst (occurred during hydrostatic testing) including necessary repairing/ replacing defective pipe length, including cutting and removing out defective pipes, pretesting of replacement pipe and welding into mainline, NDT of welds and re-bevelled area, repair and re-testing of defective welds, coating of welded joints, clean-up, retesting the pipeline including providing all necessary equipments, labour, materials, consumables and inputs other than Owner supplied materials and performing all works as per drawings, specifications enclosed with the Contract and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Note : This rate is applicable for manufacturing defects in Company supplied material only.
Major Leak (detected by visual method) (Pipeline size - 16 inch)
MINOR LEAK (DETECTED BY SECTIONALISING): All works for locating leak by sectionalising or any other methods which cannot be located by visual means, including necessary repairing/ replacing defective pipe length, including cutting and removing out defective pipes, pretesting of replacement pipe and welding into mainline, NDT of welds and re-bevelled area, repair and re-testing of defective welds, coating of welded joints, clean-up, retesting the pipeline including providing all necessary equipments, labour, materials, consumables and inputs other than Owner supplied materials and performing all works as per drawings, specifications enclosed with the Contract and directions of Engineer-in- Charge. Note: This rate is applicable for manufacturing defects in Company supplied material only.

BARRICADING (FOR USE IN HIGH MOVEMENT AREA)
Providing & erecting in position a barricading Structure of 1.5 M height & temporary foundation. Using 0.8mm thick corrugated galvanized steel sheets supported on frame of Structural Steel conforming to IS:2062, coated with Red oxide zinc chromate shop primer, including submission of design & drawing to be reviewed by owner, before execution of work at Pipeline route, particularly in residential area and high movement area and as advised by Enginner inchagre, removal of barricading structure after completion of work, including demolition & dismantling its foundation, dressing & trimming of the area. All complete as per Specification & direction of Engineer in charge (All materials to be in contractors scope) Note: 1.These rates shall be applied only when explicitly permitted by Company. 2. Rates includes moving and reinstallation of the baricades from one work site to another, multiple times.
PIPELINE INSTALLATION AT MAJOR CANALS/ RIVER/ SH/ NH/ RLY'S BY HDD TECHNIQUE Receiving, taking over & Installing of owner supplied free issue 3 layer Externally PE coated & internally expoxy coated line pipes of size 16", W.T. 11.13 mm, API 5L Gr. X-65, PSL-2 grade from owner's designated point of issue. For complete works of the major canal/ SH/ NH/ RLY by horizontal drilling method (HDD) including all additional drilled lengths necessitated by Contractor's design of water crossings, carrying out all topographical, hydrological and geo-technical surveys required for design and construction of crossing, preparation of all necessary design & construction drawings and procedures for Owner's approval, mobilisation and de-mobilisation at site(s), supply & Installation of all materials as per "Contractor's scope of supply" including supply & installation of 6" size, 6.4mm API 5L Gr. B/IS:1239 CS conduit pipe for OFC in required lengths, all consumables, equipment, manpower and other resources and acquiring the required land for site preparations, and execution of, but not limited to, the following works in accordance with specifications, drawings, and as per provisions of the Contract document and instructions of the Owner/ Engineer-in-Charge. Strings preparation including welding, NDT of welds and re-bevelled areas, radiography, pre-testing of completed string, corrosion coating of field joints, inspection of corrosion coating and repair of defects, Pre-construction surveys, Installation of pipeline and CS conduit/ optical fibre cable conduit by horizontal directional drilling to the correct profile as per approved drawings and specification, Strapping of CS conduit with main pipeline, Pulling of optical fibre cable in inter-duct of flexible HDPE tubing in the conduit mentioned above, Post-installation hydrotest including leaks and repair of defects and retesting, etc. for defects attributed to Contractor's faulty work, Supply, fabrication and construction of protective fencing as required, Supply, fabrication and erection of pipeline markers, Restoration and clean-up etc., Preparation of as-built drawings and other records etc., All other works not specifically listed herein, but required as per specifications, drawings, provision of contract document, calculations, and construction method statements, leading to successful completion of works. Note : 1. Rates quoted shall be applicable for multiple crossings at different locations. 2. Contractor shall be paid based on distance between tie-in points at two ends of crossing and not between points of entry & exit. 3. The work involved Supply and Installation of 1 nos of 6" CS pipe for OFC (IS 1239/ API 5L GR. B) along with carrier pipe in each HDD crossing. 4. If required, contractor shall arrange additional land for machine & String preparation.Cost is deemed to include in this item only. 5. Pipe used for the HDD shall be externally coated with Abrasion Resistant Overlay (ARO) Sacrificial Coating (before installation) for protecting 3LPE Coating during HDD Pull Through. 6. Minimum depth shall be 2.5 M below Scour levelor or minimum 15M below bed level for all River Crossings & Minimum depth shall be 4 M below bed level for Nala & other micro water body crossings.

CASED CROSSING (BY JACKING/ BORING/ OPEN CUT): Cased Crossing including installaiton of cased pipe and including Supply , installation & transportation of casing pipe for mainline and CS conduit for OFC from Contractor's storage point to worksite. Installation of casing pipe by jacking/ boring or open cut for road or canal crossings wherever required in all types of soils and terrain and all other materials viz. casing insulators and casing end seals as per enclosed drawing, materials for casing vents and drains, etc. including supply of all other materials, equipments, consumables, manpower, welding including visual inspection of all weld joints, installation of casing insulators, end seals, vents and drain-off pipes, backfilling and restoration as original of the facility crossed and performing all works as per drawings, specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge and provisions of Contract document.

(1:4 Cement & sand in Gunny bags as per drawing) Note: Contractor shall stablise the slopes location as marked in alignment sheet or as per Instruction of Engineer-in Charge at site
BANK STABILIZATION Unit rate for additional works over and above BOQ item no.1 for supply, fabrication and installation for protection and stabilization of banks of water crossings including supply of all materials, consumables, manpower and performing works as per drawings, specifications, instructions of Engineer-in-Charge and provisions of Contract. Note: Contractor shall stablise the slopes location as marked in alignment sheet or as per Instruction of Engineer-in Charge at site.
Unit rate over and above item no. 1 for supply of specified and approved quality of sand atleast of 500 mm over the pipe including supply of sand in place of available excavated material and/ or other suitable soil as per applicable standards/ specifications, including backfilling of excavated trench for specified length after laying of pipeline, including transportation of backfill material over all distances and disposal of surplus excavated soil, complete.
PERMANENT MARKERS: Supply, fabrication and installation of following types of permanent markers along the route including all associated civil works such as excavation in all types of soil, construction of pedestals and grouting with concrete, clearing, supply and application of approved colour and quality of primer and paint, stencil letter cutting for numbers, direction, chainage, etc., restoration of area to original condition and performing all works as per drawings, specifications and instructions of Engineer-in- Charge. Note: The painting of all markers shall conform to coastal and marine environment of spec. P-SPC-410 irrespective of whatever shown on respective standards.

PRE-COMMISSIONING OF UNDERGROUND PIPELINE: Pre-commissioning activities and pre-commissioning checks to be specified acceptance criteria, making the entire pipeline system ready for commissioning, providing assistance during the complete duration of commissioning operations,supply of all equipment,manpower,consumables (including pigs and required quantity of nitrogen for valve operations) materials for all temporary works and performing all associated works,complete as per relevant specifications,other provisions of contract document and instructions of Engineer-in Charge.
DEWATERING AND SWABBING
Dewatering and swabbing of the pipeline. Note- For Swabbing combination of low density and high density pigs shall be carried out.
PIPELINE LAYING LIAISONING AND GETTING PERMISSIONS FROM THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES/ RAILWAY/NH/ LAND OWNERS/ VILLAGERS: Complete Liaisoning works including but not limited to Liaisoning / co-ordination with Local Villagers / Land Owners / Statutory Authorities / CRZ/ Railway / SH/ NH etc / Any other Person/ Institution directly or indirectly linked with the pipeline activities for ensuring timely commencement of works and uninterrupted works without idling any equipment throughout pipeline laying activities during execution. a) Liaisoning and Co-ordinating with all the relevant authorities and land owners falling adjacent to the road side and ensuring hindrance free ROU for all pipeline laying works. b) All expenses related to Liasoning of what so ever nature will have to be borne by the contractor. c) Conctrator shall depute dedicated Experienced Controlling/ Liasoning In charge with dedicated Liasoning team, having thorough knowledge of local language. d) Liaisoning team member should be present at each location of pipeline execution work so that work is not getting hampered due to communication gap with farmers or other involved agencies / persons free ROU and should be able to lay the pipeline, complete the restoration, other testing , pre-commissioning and commissioning activities and arrange subsequent visits and post laying inspection or repairs if any for entire pipeline route till the handing over of the pipeline.
Applying working permission, follow up and liaisoning with the various statutory authorities/landowners/Villagers (except railway SH/ NH ) during execution for sucessful completion.

SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF RCC PROTECTION SLAB IN TRENCH (FOR HIGH VOLTAGE CROSSING & UNDERGROUND UTILITY CROSSING AS PER STD. DRAWINGS)
Manufacturing, transporting, supplying and erecting in position Reinforced Cement Concrete PRECAST ELEMENTS such as columns, beams, cover slabs, lintels, louvers, fins, shelves etc. of M-25 grade with 20mm and down size graded crushed stone aggregates/gravel, for all leads, levels, shapes and thickness including all moulds, shuttering and centering, vibrating, tamping, curing, chamfering wherever required, finishing the top surface with cement mortar 1:3 ( 1 Cement : 3 Sand) to give a smooth and even surface, or non skid finish as specified, providing lifting hooks, metal inserts, making holes pockets, (only M.S. inserts to be measured & paid separately) transporting to site, erecting, levelling, aligning and fixing in position with cement mortar 1:3 (1Cement : 3 Coarse Sand), breaking bricks and/or concrete surfaces and making good the same etc. all complete (excluding the Cost of Reinforcement ) and as directed.
Supplying and placing in position HIGH STRENGTH DEFORMED STEEL BARS REINFORCEMENT (conforming to IS:1786, Grade Fe 500), for R.C.C. work including transporting the Steel, straightening, cleaning, decoiling, cutting, bending to required shapes and lengths as per details, binding with contractor's own 16 SWG black soft annealed binding wire at every intersection, supplying and placing with proper cover blocks, supports, chairs, overlaps, welding, spacers, fanhooks etc. for all heights and depths etc. all complete as directed.
RESTORATION OF ASPHALT ROAD (PIPELINE TRENCHING AREA) TO THE SATISFACTION OF CONCERNED AUTHORITIES JURISDICTION OVER THE SAME INCLUDING OBTAINING NOC: Providing all materials and labour for making good roads for all depths & width up to including surface preparation, rectification of damaged portions of 1st layer of WBM, base course, sub-base course, filling in ruts and depressions, etc. breaking adjoining portion of roads, if required, cleaning the surfaces, providing the layers as per the specifications of roads (WBM layers to proper thickness, including compacting, watering, filling voids with screenings and binding material of plasticity index up to 6%, including cost of supply of screening and binding material etc. complete as per specification of road work. RESTORATION OF CONCRETE ROAD/ PAVEMENT (PIPELINE TRENCHING AREA) TO THE SATISFACTION OF CONCERNED AUTHORITIES JURISDICTION OVER THE SAME INCLUDING OBTAINING NOC: Providing all materials and labour for making good roads for all depths & width up to including surface preparation, rectification of damaged portions of 1st layer of WBM, base course, sub-base course, filling in ruts and depressions, etc. breaking adjoining portion of roads, if required, cleaning the surfaces, providing the layers as per the specifications of roads (WBM layers to proper thickness, including compacting, watering, filling voids with screenings and binding material of plasticity index up to 6%, including cost of supply of all materials including screening and binding material etc. complete as per specification of road work. Hook Up with existing pipeline by Cold Cutting Methodology including supply of localized nitrogen & sealing existing pipeline with dishend (supply by the Contractor).
Hook Up with existing pipeline by Hot Tapping including supply of Split Tee (16"x16"x16", 600#), Hot Tap Machine and all other items required for the succesfull completion of the work & prepartion of cover chamber. Note: Actuated Full Bore Ball Valve shall be free issued to the Bidder by the Client/ Owner. However, Bidder shall check its suitability before starting Hot Tap Work.

PIPELINE LAYING/ INSTALLTION: Laying/ installation of coated/ bare line pipe, associated fittings and accessories, etc. as per specifications, drawings, other provisions of Contract and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge, including but not limited to carrying out the following: "Receiving and taking-over", handling, loading, transportation and unloading of Owner supplied externally & internally corrosion coated and bare line pipes from designated place(s) of issue/ dump site(s) to Contractor's own stock-yard(s)/ workshop(s)/ work-site(s) including stringing on the pipeline Right-of-Use (ROU)/ Right of way (ROW); PIPELINE LAYING LIAISONING AND GETTING PERMISSIONS FROM THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES/ RAILWAY/NH/ LAND OWNERS/ VILLAGERS: Complete Liaisoning works including but not limited to Liaisoning / co-ordination with Local Villagers / Land Owners / Statutory Authorities / CRZ/ Railway / SH/ NH etc / Any other Person/ Institution directly or indirectly linked with the pipeline activities for ensuring timely commencement of works and uninterrupted works without idling any equipment throughout pipeline laying activities during execution. a) Liaisoning and Co-ordinating with all the relevant authorities and land owners falling adjacent to the road side and ensuring hindrance free ROU for all pipeline laying works. b) All expenses related to Liasoning of what so ever nature will have to be borne by the contractor. c) Conctrator shall depute dedicated Experienced Controlling/ Liasoning In charge with dedicated Liasoning team, having thorough knowledge of local language. d) Liaisoning team member should be present at each location of pipeline execution work so that work is not getting hampered due to communication gap with farmers or other involved agencies / persons free ROU and should be able to lay the pipeline, complete the restoration, other testing , pre-commissioning and commissioning activities and arrange subsequent visits and post laying inspection or repairs if any for entire pipeline route till the handing over of the pipeline.
Applying working permission, follow up and liaisoning with the various statutory authorities/landowners/Villagers (except railway SH/ NH ) during execution for sucessful completion.
State/ National Highway liaisoning work during installation of pipeline till completion.
SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF RCC PROTECTION SLAB IN TRENCH (FOR HIGH VOLTAGE CROSSING & UNDERGROUND UTILITY CROSSING AS PER STD. DRAWINGS)
Manufacturing, transporting, supplying and erecting in position Reinforced Cement Concrete PRECAST ELEMENTS such as columns, beams, cover slabs, lintels, louvers, fins, shelves etc. of M-25 grade with 20mm and down size graded crushed stone aggregates/gravel, for all leads, levels, shapes and thickness including all moulds, shuttering and centering, vibrating, tamping, curing, chamfering wherever required, finishing the top surface with cement mortar 1:3 ( 1 Cement : 3 Sand) to give a smooth and even surface, or non skid finish as specified, providing lifting hooks, metal inserts, making holes pockets, (only M.S. inserts to be measured & paid separately) transporting to site, erecting, levelling, aligning and fixing in position with cement mortar 1:3 (1Cement : 3 Coarse Sand), breaking bricks and/or concrete surfaces and making good the same etc. all complete (excluding the Cost of Reinforcement ) and as directed.
Supplying and placing in position HIGH STRENGTH DEFORMED STEEL BARS REINFORCEMENT (conforming to IS:1786, Grade Fe 500), for R.C.C. work including transporting the Steel, straightening, cleaning, decoiling, cutting, bending to required shapes and lengths as per details, binding with contractor's own 16 SWG black soft annealed binding wire at every intersection, supplying and placing with proper cover blocks, supports, chairs, overlaps, welding, spacers, fanhooks etc. for all heights and depths etc. all complete as directed.
RESTORATION OF ASPHALT ROAD (PIPELINE TRENCHING AREA) TO THE SATISFACTION OF CONCERNED AUTHORITIES JURISDICTION OVER THE SAME INCLUDING OBTAINING NOC: Providing all materials and labour for making good roads for all depths & width up to including surface preparation, rectification of damaged portions of 1st layer of WBM, base course, sub-base course, filling in ruts and depressions, etc. breaking adjoining portion of roads, if required, cleaning the surfaces, providing the layers as per the specifications of roads (WBM layers to proper thickness, including compacting, watering, filling voids with screenings and binding material of plasticity index up to 6%, including cost of supply of screening and binding material etc. complete as per specification of road work. Providing and laying 50mm thick bitumen premix carpet including heating bitumen, mixing stone chips, grit, laying to proper grade and camber including preparation of surface, filling pot holes with premix chips, rolling premix carpet with 8 to 10 ton road roller, providing and rolling seal coat to proper grade and camber, spreading sand over finished surfaces including brushing and clearing WBM surfaces, spraying tack coat of bitumen, etc. complete including providing and running road roller etc. all as per drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer- in-Charge. Note : 1. This item covers only the Asphalt Road Coming in the Pipeline Trench area. Any other area damaged by Laying contractor due to movement of Machinery or any other reason will be done by Contractor at their own cost. 2. All other restoration is included in BOQ Item No. 1.

Earth work in EXCAVATION below ground level for all kinds of works in SOFT ROCK as classified in specification for a depth upto 1.5m including removal of vegetation, shrubs and debris, cutting and dressing of sides in slopes, levelling, grading and ramming of bottoms, dewatering of accumulated water from any source and keeping the surface dry for subsequent works and disposal or stacking of excavated material within a lead of 100m, as directed including providing temporary supports to existing service lines like water pipes, sewage pipes, electric overhead and underground cables etc. all complete, but excluding shoring and strutting.
BACKFILLING after execution of the WORK to proper grade and level by excavating the suitable approved quality of soil from BORROW AREAS arranged by CONTRACTOR for all leads, transporting the earth from borrow area including cleaning & stripping the earth at borrow areas, breaking clods, loading, unloading and laying at all depths and heights in layers of thickness not exceeding 15 cms., watering, rolling and ramming by manual methods/mechanical compactors to achieve 90% of the maximum laboratory dry density, dressing, trimming, levelling the top surface etc. in foundations, plinths, trenches etc. all complete.
Transporting and disposing the SURPLUS EARTH AND DEBRIS including shrubs and vegetations from construction area to areas ANYWHERE OUTSIDE THE PLANT BOUNDARY including re-excavating the deposited soil excavated earlier, transportation, loading, unloading, laying at all depths and heights, stacking, levelling and dressing both the area (viz. from where the earth is transported and where it is deposited) to required levels and slopes complete with all lifts as directed. MISCELLANEOUS STEEL WORKS
Supplying, fabricating, fixing and keeping in position at all levels and locations THREADED ANCHOR BOLTS of all diameters and nomenclature including nuts, washers, anchor plates, pipe sleeves etc. in foundations, columns, pedestals, slabs, beams, walls etc. or any other place as directed including handling & transporting, straightening if required, turning from relevant size M.S. rounds to required diameter, threading, welding, providing necessary templates and auxilliary dummy structures, if any, necessary tying and welding with reinforcement, adjustment of shuttering & reinforcement/any other fixture, greasing exposed metal surfaces, covering bolts and packing the sleeves with jute cloth etc. all complete as specified and directed.(SUPPLY OF ALL MATERIALS IN CONTRACTOR'S SCOPE).
Supplying, transporting, storing, fabricating and fixing in position M.S. Paver Block Walkway

The CC interlocking blocks to be of uniform Grey colour or as approved by EIC complete in all respects , as per technical specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-charge Note :- 1. Supplying and laying of stone aggregate of 63mm down to 45mm size for WBM layer Base Course, tough, sound, clean and durable including cost of stone aggregate, all royalties, taxes, handling, transportation to site, unloading the same by the side of road with all leads and lifts, spreading and laying to form water bound macadam in one layer of 75mm compacted thickness to proper grade, camber and level, filling voids with screenings and binding material of plasticity index up to 6%, including cost of supply of screening and binding material, consolidating with power driven road roller, watering, with all leads and lifts etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
OPTIONAL SCOPE (Will be part of the contract and will be evaluated separately)
DRYING AND COMMISSIONING: Complete work of carrying out drying by vacuum drying method or supper air drying & commissioning of pipeline section including supply of manpower, equipments & consumables nitrogen required for purging etc,)materials for all temporary works and performing associated works,complete as per the relevant specifictions,other provisions of contract document and instructions of Engineer-in Charge.
Drying by vacuum drying/ super air drying method of pipeline section
Carrying out commissioning checks and making the pipeline section (ready for commissioning including supply of all adequate nitrogen for pipeline purging equipment, manpower, consumables (including all types of pigs and required materials), materials for all temporary works and performing all associated works, complete as per the relevant specifications, other provisions of Contract document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge. Note- Purging of pipeline with nitrogen shall be considered for atleast 4 km length of pipeline.(despatch terminal to receiving terminal ) Cost is included under this item only.
ELECTRONIC GEOMETRIC PIGGING (EGP)
Mobilisation/ demobilisation of pigging tools, tackles, consumables, accessories and personnel by CONTRACTOR at work site including but not limited to Magnet pig, electronic geometry pigs and pig tracking device, as per specification and other provision of the bid document including supply of material, equipment, manpower, etc. as required for geometry inspection and magnet cleaning of 16" Pipeline.
IDLE TIME PRESERVATION OF PIPELINE: Preservation of Section-A Pipeline and associated facilities and its maintenance including supply of all consumables, all equipment, man-power, etc., complete as per the requirements of specifications, other provisions of Contract document and instructions of Engineer-in- Charge.
By filling and pressurising with corrosion inhibited water including supply and maintenance of water with regular dosing of inhibitor to maintain the effectiveness of the inhibitor water for the following details: ( Pipeline size - 406.4 mm (16"), pressure shall be minimum bar(g) 5, Specified period 3 month ) Note: Section-B only
Internal Joint Coating
All Field Joint shall be Internally Coated by the Bidder. However, material for the internal joint coatings shall be supplied by the Client/ Owner.
Excavation, Dismantling & Transportation of Existing 16" Pipeline
Excavation, Dismantling & Transportation of the Existing Pipeline including;- Locating of existing pipeline, excavation, cutting of the pipeline in joints , in average 12 mtr. Length, bevelling, transporation of pipe to the designated storage yard, backfilling & restoraration of the ROU to the satisfaction of the authorities, all HSE compliance shall be carried out as directed by Engineer In Charge/ Owner.

PIPELINE LAYING/ INSTALLTION: Laying/ installation of coated/ bare line pipe, associated fittings and accessories, etc. as per specifications, drawings, other provisions of Contract and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge, including but not limited to carrying out the following: "Receiving and taking-over", handling, loading, transportation and unloading of Owner supplied externally & internally corrosion coated and bare line pipes from designated place(s) of issue/ dump site(s) to Contractor's own stock-yard(s)/ workshop(s)/ work-site(s) including stringing on the pipeline Right-of-Use (ROU)/ Right of way (ROW); "Receiving and taking over", handling, including loading and unloading, transportation of Owner supplied materials other than line pipe from Owner's designated place(s) of issue to worksite(s); Arrangement of all additional land required for Contractor's storage, fabrication, access for construction (other than Owner provided ROU/ ROW); supply of all materials (except Owner supplied materials), consumables, equipment, labour, etc; Staking and installation of construction markers, clearing, grubbing, grading (as required) of Right of Use/ Right of Way; All tie-ins (hook up), including the tie-in(s) with the pipeline/ piping installed by other contractor including cutting of test header, re-beveling as required; Carrying out all temporary, ancillary, auxiliary works and all incidental works required to make the pipeline ready for pre-commissioning; Repair of defects recorded during EGP/ gauge plate run or otherwise including cutting, beveling, welding, radiography, field joint coating (internal as well as external) etc; as applicable, Final clean-up and restoration of right of way/ right of use including obtaining NOC from respective statutory authorities as required and disposal of debris and returning all surplus material to designated disposal areas/ storage yard, as directed by Engineer-In-Charge; PIPELINE LAYING LIAISONING AND GETTING PERMISSIONS FROM THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES/ RAILWAY/NH/ LAND OWNERS/ VILLAGERS: Complete Liaisoning works including but not limited to Liaisoning / co-ordination with Local Villagers / Land Owners / Statutory Authorities / CRZ/ Railway / SH/ NH etc / Any other Person/ Institution directly or indirectly linked with the pipeline activities for ensuring timely commencement of works and uninterrupted works without idling any equipment throughout pipeline laying activities during execution. a) Liaisoning and Co-ordinating with all the relevant authorities and land owners falling adjacent to the road side and ensuring hindrance free ROU for all pipeline laying works. b) All expenses related to Liasoning of what so ever nature will have to be borne by the contractor. c) Conctrator shall depute dedicated Experienced Controlling/ Liasoning In charge with dedicated Liasoning team, having thorough knowledge of local language. d) Liaisoning team member should be present at each location of pipeline execution work so that work is not getting hampered due to communication gap with farmers or other involved agencies / persons free ROU and should be able to lay the pipeline, complete the restoration, other testing , pre-commissioning and commissioning activities and arrange subsequent visits and post laying inspection or repairs if any for entire pipeline route till the handing over of the pipeline.

CENTERING AND SHUTTERING (refer specification no. C-SPC-104) Providing and fixing CENTERING AND SHUTTERING in foundations, footings, raft beams, slabs, pile caps, retaining walls, jambs, counter-forts, buttresses, trenches, equipment/machine foundations, pedestals, abutments, pipe sleepers, columns, plinth beams, lintels, suspended slabs, beams, staircases, landings, steps, non-circular tunnels/bunkers/silos/ shafts/ hoppers/liquid storage structures etc. including shuttering for single pour concreting, strutting, bracing, propping etc., keeping the same in position during concreting and removal of the same after specified period etc. for Straight/ Inclined Shuttering, keeping necessary provision for inserts, projecting dowels, anchor bolts or any other fixture etc. all complete and as specified and directed.
i) For all depths below and upto & inclusive of plinth level.
ii) For all heights above plinth level.
HYD Bars/MS Bars (refer specification no. C-SPC-102)
Supplying and placing in position HIGH YIELD STRENGTH DEFORMED STEEL BARS REINFORCEMENT of grade Fe500 (D) (TMT) (conforming to IS:1786, for R.C.C. work including transporting the Steel, straightening, cleaning, decoiling, cutting, bending to required shapes and lengths as per details, bending to required shapes and lengths as per details ,binding with contractor's own 16 SWG black soft annealed binding wire at every intersection, supplying and placing with proper cover blocks, supports, chairs, overlaps, welding, spacers, fanhooks etc. for all heights and depths etc. all complete as directed.(SUPPLY OF ALL MATERIAL IN CONTRACTOR'S SCOPE).
Structural Steel Works & Painting (refer specification no. C-SPC-157)
Supplying, transporting, storing, fabricating & Erecting in position and testing/examining bolted and/or welded STRUCTURAL STEEL WORKS of Grade E250 BR/BO at all locations (Location & levels upto & inclusive of 10m above HPP/FGL) including all builtup sections/compound sections made out of rolled sections and/or plates/bent plates in trusses, purlins, wind ties, wind girders, columns, portals, racks, frameworks, crane gantries, surge girders, bracings, floor beams, lifting beams, monorails, platforms, staircases (excluding chequered plates and gratings), ladders, stoppers, brackets, side runners, sagrods, supports for equipment and technological accesories and process piping, hand railings, posts, conveyor galleries, trestles, towers, masts, junction houses etc., cutting to required size, straightening/ bending if required, edge preparation, cleaning, preheating, bolting/welding of joints, (including sealing the joints of box sections with continuous welding), finishing edges by grinding, fixing in line and level with temporary staging & bracing and removal of the same after erection, grouting with Ordinary Grout or premix free flow Nonshrink Grout as specified, including preparation and submission of detailed fabrication drawings, preparing the surface for painting and applying shop primer all complete. SUPPLY OF ALL MATERIAL IN CONTRACTOR'S SCOPE.
Supplying and applying FINISH PAINT of approved quality and shade including a coat of primer as per Specification/BIS Codes over one coat of shop primer already applied including storage, surface preparation, degreasing, cleaning, drying, touching up of shop primer coat, providing temporary staging, scaffolding, testing etc., for steel structures at all levels and locations, all complete as specified. SUPPLY OF ALL MATERIAL IN CONTRACTOR'S SCOPE. ( Unit Rate Based On the Structural steel Weight.)
MISCELLANEOUS STEEL WORKS
Supplying, fabricating, fixing and keeping in position at all levels and locations THREADED ANCHOR BOLTS of all diameters and nomenclature including nuts, washers, anchor plates, pipe sleeves etc. in foundations, columns, pedestals, slabs, beams, walls etc. or any other place as directed including handling & transporting, straightening if required, turning from relevant size M.S. rounds to required diameter, threading, welding, providing necessary templates and auxilliary dummy structures, if any, necessary tying and welding with reinforcement, adjustment of shuttering & reinforcement/any other fixture, greasing exposed metal surfaces, covering bolts and packing the sleeves with jute cloth etc. all complete as specified and directed.(SUPPLY OF ALL MATERIALS IN CONTRACTOR'S SCOPE).
Supplying, transporting, storing, fabricating and fixing in position M.S. METAL INSERT (with lugs) of any shape made out of flats, plates, rolled sections, pipes etc. providing necessary templates, staging, cutting, straightening, if required, bolting, welding as required and embedding in position on both Plain and Reinforced Cement concrete members inclusive of adjusting shuttering & reinforcement/any other fixture, welding where necessary, tying and holding to correct level, line and position, any auxilliary dummy structures to support the heavy inserts, painting exposed surfaces with a coat of Red Oxide Zinc Chromate Primer etc. all complete for all depths and heights as specified and directed (SUPPLY OF ALL MATERIALS IN CONTRACTOR'S SCOPE).
Paver Block Walkway
Supplying and placing in position as per approved pattern of Cement Concrete Inter locking paver block 60 mm thick of approved shape, rough finish, M-30 strength of approved brand laid over the sand bed of minimum 40 mm thick. The CC interlocking blocks to be of uniform Grey colour or as approved by EIC complete in all respects , as per technical specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-charge Note :- 1. Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, supply of all materials such paver blocks, sand, earth work in excavation in cutting earth in all conditions, shuttering with all bye works and sundry works. 2. To be read with in conjunction with Particular Job Specification 3.Supply of all materials and providing labour, tools and tackles are in contractor’s scope
Supplying and laying of stone aggregate of 90mm down to 45mm size for SUB-BASE COURSE tough, sound, clean and durable including cost of stone aggregate, all royalties, taxes, handling, transportation to site, unloading the same by the side of road with all leads and lifts, spreading and laying to form water bound macadam in one layer of 100mm compacted thickness to proper grade, camber and level, filling voids with screenings and binding the surface with binding material of plasticity index upto 6% including cost of supply of screening and binding material, consolidating with power driven road roller, watering, with all leads and lifts including preparation of camber below first layer etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer- in-Charge.
Supplying and laying of stone aggregate of 63mm down to 45mm size for WBM layer Base Course, tough, sound, clean and durable including cost of stone aggregate, all royalties, taxes, handling, transportation to site, unloading the same by the side of road with all leads and lifts, spreading and laying to form water bound macadam in one layer of 75mm compacted thickness to proper grade, camber and level, filling voids with screenings and binding material of plasticity index up to 6%, including cost of supply of screening and binding material, consolidating with power driven road roller, watering, with all leads and lifts etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
OPTIONAL SCOPE
DRYING AND COMMISSIONING: Complete work of carrying out drying by vacuum drying method or supper air drying & commissioning of pipeline section including supply of manpower, equipments & consumables nitrogen required for purging etc,)materials for all temporary works and performing associated works,complete as per the relevant specifictions,other provisions of contract document and instructions of Engineer-in Charge.
Drying by vacuum drying/ super air drying method of pipeline section
Carrying out commissioning checks and making the pipeline section (ready for commissioning including supply of all adequate nitrogen for pipeline purging equipment, manpower, consumables (including all types of pigs and required materials), materials for all temporary works and performing all associated works, complete as per the relevant specifications, other provisions of Contract document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge. Note- Purging of pipeline with nitrogen shall be considered for atleast 4 km length of pipeline.(despatch terminal to receiving terminal ) Cost is included under this item only.
ELECTRONIC GEOMETRIC PIGGING (EGP)
Mobilisation/ demobilisation of pigging tools, tackles, consumables, accessories and personnel by CONTRACTOR at work site including but not limited to Magnet pig, electronic geometry pigs and pig tracking device, as per specification and other provision of the bid document including supply of material, equipment, manpower, etc. as required for geometry inspection and magnet cleaning of 16" Pipeline.
IDLE TIME PRESERVATION OF PIPELINE: Preservation of Section-A Pipeline and associated facilities and its maintenance including supply of all consumables, all equipment, man-power, etc., complete as per the requirements of specifications, other provisions of Contract document and instructions of Engineer-in- Charge.
By filling and pressurising with corrosion inhibited water including supply and maintenance of water with regular dosing of inhibitor to maintain the effectiveness of the inhibitor water for the following details: ( Pipeline size - 406.4 mm (16"), pressure shall be minimum bar(g) 5, Specified period 3 month )
Hook Up
Hook Up with existing pipeline by Cold Cutting Methodology including supply of localized nitrogen & sealing existing pipeline with dishend (supply by the Contractor).
Hook Up with existing pipeline by Hot Tapping including supply of Split Tee (16"x16"x16", 600#), Hot Tap Machine and all other items required for the succesfull completion of the work & prepartion of cover chamber. Note: Actuated Full Bore Ball Valve shall be free issued to the Bidder by the Client/ Owner. However, Bidder shall check its suitability before starting Hot Tap Work.
Internal Joint Coating
All Field Joint shall be Internally Coated by the Bidder. However, material for the internal joint coatings shall be supplied by the Client/ Owner.
Excavation, Dismantling & Transportation of 16" Existing Pipeline
Excavation, Dismantling & Transportation of the Existing Pipeline including;- Locating of existing pipeline, excavation, cutting of the pipeline in joints , in average 12 mtr. Length, bevelling, transporation of pipe to the designated storage yard, backfilling & restoraration of the ROU to the satisfaction of the authorities, all HSE compliance shall be carried out as directed by Engineer In Charge/ Owner.
