Material and labour for scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm, exc 50 mm and not exc 100 mm deep, complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregates (granite, trap or basalt) of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size), spread rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required including forming clay puddle bunds (retaining fillets) on both edges of spread aggregates with tendom vibratory roller complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for laying of 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregates (granite, trap or basalt) of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size), except materials (using old serviceable aggregate obtained from scarifying after and including screening of graded material) spread rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with tendem vibratory roller including forming clay puddle bunds (retaining fillets) on both edges of spread aggregates complete all as specified and directed.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc., cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and rolled with tendem vibratory roller to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparing of unsurfaced water bound macadam surface, bituminous macadam surface and black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags or with mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen VG-10) @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for premix semi-dense bituminious concrete 40mm (consolidated thickness) with paver with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix (Paving bitumen VG-30) laid with mechanically paver and material transported in tipped (covered) vehicle and compacted to required camber and gradient with tendem vibratory roller complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for laying premix bituminous macadam laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with tendem vibratory roller (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) using binder content of paving bitumen (VG-30) by 4% weight of total mix, for repair to road edge, depression, speed breaker, pot holes etc complete all as specified and directed.

Surface dressing not exc 15 cm deep in any type of soil for berms complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for Moorum red bajri filling in both side berm or paving, laid in layers not exc. 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed to form uniform and consolidated surfaces with and including watering complete all as specified and directed.
