(H) Acoustic enclosure: Enclosure Is free standing floor mounted factory built and modular in construction to facilitate easy assembly at work site and will be drop over housing type. It will consist of acoustically treated panel housed In sheet steel will provide easy access for maintenance, repairs and operation. The enclosure is custom built to suit conditions, with the following features:- i) Custom built product for various equipments, with ensure the optimum performance without duration. ii) Rugged in construction maintenance free and modular designs which facilitate easy at site. iii) CRCA sheets to be used for enclosure panel to ensure longer life against weathering action. High quality acoustic insulation materials to be used as per IS 8183 for maximum sound absorption. Acoustic layers are supported by perforated sheets iv) Sheet metal components of the enclosure should undergo various stages of surface treatment prior to painting which leads to be bette life of the enclosure against weathering action. v) Special paint treatment with pure polyester powder / epoxy to be provided for better weather resistance. vi) Well designed ventilation system to be provided to pump up the heat in the chamber efficiently. vii) For effective acoustic / weather sealing a special type weather sealing gaskets, new frame rubber gaskets to used. viii) Working space is to be provided around the equipment for easy maintenance / repairs.

Supply and installation of Franklyn type Lightning Arrester using the following items : (a) Franklyn type Lightning Conductor, sphere made of copper with diameter of 76mm. Five tapered spikes, one at centre and four at different angles are made of copper having dia of 8 mm and Length 68 mm are connected to sphere. The sphere is connected to the main pipe made of copper having a length of 1000 mm and diameter of 25mm with thickness of 2mm. A square copper base plate of 75 mm X 75 mm having 5mm thickness is used for securing Lightning Conductor on Flat surface.- 1 SET (b) Mast for Conventional rods used for cemented Flat surface based Installation with Circular Base Plate having main Pipe of length 6000mm with Outer diameter as 60mm & Thickness as 4.5 mm Top pipe of length 4000 mm having outer diameter as 48mm and thickness as 3.2 mm is connected via flange joint with main pipe. Top pipe goes 500 mm inside main pipe through flange joint for better stability. Bottom Plate of diameter 220 mm & having thickness as 10 mm is welded directly with the main pipe to form a single piece without any joint for stability at bottom. Gusset Plates are welded as a supporting feature between bottom plate and main pipe. The Bottom Plate is furnished with 4 nos of 16mm Holes for securing the mast on the Cemented flat surface. Made of material is G.I ; The total height of mast is 9500mm Base Plate details: Circular Plate of diameter 220 mm & having thickness as 10 mm is welded directly with the pipe to form a single piece without any joint for stability at bottom. Gusset Plates are welded as a supporting feature between Circular plate and main pipe. Notes:- (i) Comprehensive maintenance consists of preventive and breakdown services including replacment of minor consumables like topping of gear oils/ grease/ door rollers/ relays/ door belts/ gate lock contacts and any hardware like bolts and nuts including load testing of lift for satisfactory performance once in a year complete and rate quoted by the tenderer is deemed to be included. (ii) Preventive maintaince consists of carrying out routine check by skilled personnel as specified in Particular specifications and as recommended by Engineer-in-Charge and lubricating to all moving parts, topping up of oils as per Lubrication chart. (iii) Breakdown maintenance consists of attending to the faults that may occur and carrying out necessary repairs to electrical and control circuits and mechanical components of the lift that may occur during the operation. (iv) Fortnightly, quarterly maintaince registeres shall be maintained and signed by site Engineer and contractor. (v) Load testing shall be arranged by the contractor to the Lift for whose repairs were carried out as and when directed by Engr-in-charge.

Note 1 : Rate quoted is inclusive of the following. (i) drilling hole on the brick wall to faciltate routing copper pipe drain pipe and cable from indoor unit outdoor unit (ii) Sealing thehole from outside, after installation, with white cement (iii) Pressure testing, cooling performance check and product demonstration (iv) Material and labour for fixing Remote stand in wall. Supply & fixing plants for hedges by digging 0.30mx0.45m trenches, filling the trench with approved digging material upto 0.30 m and remaining height of 0.15 m with mixture of fresh garden soil and manure in ratio 4:1 and neem cake (25g) + vermi compost (50g). Mixing garden soil & manure throughly well and planting healthy saplings.Removing & depositing the excess soil at low lying area as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The type of plant shall be Clerodendron or Duranta or Murrayaexotica, Boughinvillea or as approved by Garrison Engineer.

Supply and fixing ornamental shrubs plants by digging pit 0.45m x 0.45m x 0.45 m, removing and conveying unwanted stuff to a required distance as directed, filling the pit with excavated material upto 0.30m and remaining height of 0.15m with mixture of fresh garden soil and manure in (4:1) ratio and neem cake (25g) + vermi compost (50g). Antitermite treatment, watering,planting healthy shrubs, removing & depositing the excess soil at low lying area as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The type of plant shall be Ixora,Tecomariacapensis, Allamanda, Bougainvillea, Hibiscus, Galphimia, Aricapalm, Fox style farm, Traveler Palm, Yellow Bamboo, Bluemaria pudica or as decided by Garrison Engineer/users.

Note For SL No: 64 to 65.01 ( i) The lift shall be operated daily in two shifts as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) The timings for two shifts of 8 hours each daily i.e. First shift be from 0630 hours to 1430 hours and second shift shall be from 1430 hours to 2230 hrs. (iii) In case of non function of passenger lift, the goods lift installed in the same building shall be operated as directed. (iv) The work shall be suprevised by adequately qualified supervisor with relevant experience of minimum 2 to 3 years items under BOQ shall be deemed to be including the same. (v) The unit rate is deemed to include for maintaining log books, record of repair / replacement of perished / underviceable, minor adjustment, minor repairs of all accessories, cleaning/ up keeping of lift and surrounding area as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (vi) One emergency light and necessary tool shall be available in a tool box with the operator in the shifts for smooth functioning of lifts. (vii) Conveyance and communication system like mobile phone etc. shall be provided by the bidders/Service providers to all lift attendants / Supervisors. (viii) The Bidders shall ensure housekeeping, environmental cleanliness of area all round the lift and the area shall be kept absolutely neat and clean. The lift attendant shall clean the lift car cabin, all landing floors and tiles all round lift doors with necessary cleaning material such as cotton cloth and cleaning solution etc.

Note For SL No: 64 to 65.01 (ix) The Bidders shall abide by the latest labour rules and minimum wages Act. Wages paid by the bidders to the persons employed shall not be less than the minimum wages fixed by the State/central government from time to time whichever is higher. The Biddrs shall also insure the workmen employed on the job. (x) The Biddrs is responsible for insurance, EPF, ESI, Bonus, Labour welfare cess etc, as applicable and shall be deemed to be included for the same. (xi) Dress Code: The bidders shall provide the workmen with dark blue colour uniform (formal pant & shirt) with labels showing / printed i.e. " Name of the firm and designation" on front and on the back of the T-shirt along protective clothing / gear. The bidders shall also provide shoes to the workers and he persons shall not be allowed to enter the work site without wearing shoes. (xii) Insurance: The Bidders shall be responsible for all Accidents / Injuries hapenning to the workmen. Any accident causing minor/fatal injury, partial disability due to any untoward on account of any mishanding / worng operation / lack of knowledge of safety precautions or on account of any circumstances beyound his / their control, the bidders shall be solely responsible for setting all claims of copensation to the deceased falling which department will have a right to recover any sum indicated / claimed by labour commissioner / court authorities. No claim whats over will be entertained in this regard. No compensation is enable by the department on this account. Bidders shall provide first aid boxes to meet any emergency situations.
