Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of Eco friendly, Sound proof 35 KVA/28 KW or nearest above capacity Diesel Engine driven generating set with acoustic enclosure made out of CRCA sheet powder coated, specially designed lifting arrangement/hooks, meet the latest CPCB norms of 75 dBA @ 1 mtr distance and as per the testing guide line of CPCB. DG Set shall be conforming to IS:10001/10002 and Alternator as per IS:13364, water cooled type, self starting system with 12 volt DC supply, 3 phase 4 wire AC 415 volt ± 5% at 1500 RPM, 50 Hz, 0.8 PF self exciled, self regulated, automatic voltage regulation, class 'H' insulation type alternator, with AVM pad installed on PCC platform comprising of PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregates) foundation as per manufacturer design including with standard following accessories :-

(a) ENGINE:- Diesel engine of minimum 53 BHP water cooled naturally aspirated closed circuit as per BS 649 or IS : 1002 turbocharged. The engine shall be provided with electrical starting arrangements. The engine/DG Set shall be capable of running 24 hrs continuously with 10% overloading for one hour in every 12 hrs as per BS 53/4/BS 649. Engine shall be multicylinder, multistroke, direct injection, cold starting system (Temp range -30 to +35 degree centigrade at altitude of 4250 mtrs) and equipped with all standard fittings as per manufacturers recommandations and mounted on common base frame with following fittings :-

(i) Fly Wheel with Housing : Common base frame of sturdy design suitable for antivibration mounting and permanent concrete foundation for mounting engine and alternator as per manufacturer's instructions. (ii) Cooling System : Naturally water/liquid cooled type. (iii) Fuel System : Fuel injection system with fuel injector, fuel injector pump/governer electronic type fuel filters and fuel house. (iv) Lub Oil System : Lub oil pump electric motor driven and lub oil filter. (v) Air Intake System : Air intake manifold and air cleaner dry type. (vi) Governer : Electronic governer. (vii) Electric Starting System : Electric self starter, 12 volts DC charging alternator with regulator battery as per manufacturer's design, copper leads with lugs of adequate size complete with initial charging fly wheel ring and start and stop push button. Battery : 01 No maintenance free battery 12 volts 88 AH capacity complete with copper conductor multistranded leads to suitable length from self starter to the battery terminals complete with initial charge and initial fill of electrolyte all as specified.

(viii) Safe Controls : Engine low lub oil pressure, high water temp, over speeding of engine and battery charging voltage display. (ix) Fuel Tank : Inlet and outlet arrangements, air vent and drain plug arrangement and as per OEM design. (x) Coupling Arrangements : Fixed coupling fly wheel to suit fixed coupling and fly wheel. (xi) Exhaust System : Silencer complete with exhaust pipe of suitable size as per OEM design.

(b) ALTERNATOR : Alternator rating 35 KVA (28KW) 3 phase, 50 Hz, 415 Volts, 4 wire supply at NTP, 0.8 power factor, running @ 1500 RPM, self excited, self regulated, insulation class 'H' type mounted on strong fabricated steel frame, suitable for mounting on a permanent foundation to be coupled with above engine. The alternator shall be confirming to BS 2613/5000 and shall be in position to generate supply with frequency regulation within ± 3% tolerance. (c) Generator Monitoring Panel : The Panel shall be comprising of following :- (i) Microprocessor based genset controller for metering, monitoring, governing and protection. (ii) Engine protection for low lub oil pressure, high coolant temperature (alarm & shut down). (iii) Alternator protection parameters like under voltage, over current under frequency, over frequency (alarm & shut down). (iv) MCCB 100 Amps 4 pole, thermal magnetic release type with rupturing capacity 35 KA. (v) Indicating lamp LED type (R, Y, B) - 03 Nos.

(d) ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE : Enclosure is free standing floor mounted factory built and modular in construction to faciliate easy assembly at work site and will be drop over housing type. It will consist of acoustically treated panel housed in steel sheet of size 16 SWG (1.6 mm thick) will provide easy access for maintenance, repairs and operation. The enclosure is custom built to suit conditions, with the following features :- (i) Custom built product for various equipments, which ensure the optimum performance. (ii) Rugged in construction maintenance free and modular design which faciliate easy at site.

(e) FOUNDATION : PCC foundation for DG set shall be all as per manufacturer’s instructions/ recommendation or required at site or as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the lump sum cost of DG set quoted by contractor. (f) Base Frame : Engine and alternator would be duly aligned and coupled with each other on the comman base frame of MS channel

NOTES : (a) The complete Generating set include Engine/Alternator shall be factory assembled by Manufacturer or its authorised dealer as approved for assembling of the DG set. (b) Complete DG Set shall be mounted on PCC Platfrom of size as recommended by manufacturer within overall cost quoted. (c) Complete DG Set shall be pri-commissioned by rep of AO with overall cost quoted.

Supply and fixing On Load change over switch 415V in sheet metal enclousers four pole capacity 125 Amps, complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Havells/Standard/HPL

Supply, laying and testing XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with multi-standard aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 50 Sqmm, 3.5 core, laid in trenches or passing through pipes, including making necessary connections at both ends, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 Mtr wide & not exc. 1.5 Mtr in depth taking out of soil for laying of under ground cable/erecting of poles/stay in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

Removal of surplus excavated material to a distance not exc. 50 Mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 Mtr above the starting point in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

Returning & filling in including spreading levelling watering & well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

Sand cushioning for cables 8 cm below the cable and 15 cm above the cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

Supplying and laying of Un-reinforced precast concrete covers LV type-1 Flat, of size 250 mm x 150mm x40mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

Air termination single pointed aluminium rod 12 mm dia and 300 mm long complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze, size 75mm x 75mm x 25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos 8 mm dia 25 mm long hexagonal head screw complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Aluminium strip of size 25mm x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Galvanised iron strip of size 32mm x 6mm burried in ground complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

PCC 1:3:6, type C-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in foundation filling and mass concrete for stay, poles etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr. below ground level connecting to galvanised iron strip 32x6mm as earth lead by means of bolts, check nuts and washers of GI and earth strip protected by provision of GI pipe light grade, 40mm bore including provn of concrete pit in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates with 40mm thick cover of RCC (1:2:4) reinforced with XPM ( weight not less than 4Kg/Sqm) and frame of angle iron 25 x 25 x 3mm with lugs 2 Nos and with 6mm dia MS bar handle made to shape, GI medium grade 20mm bore pipe for watering perforated at bottom 1.75 mtr long placed on top edge plate, common salt and charcoal filling, test point made out of phosphorous bronze with fixing arrangement, funnel, wire mesh and earth work in hard/dense soil,returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exeeding 50 mtr, all as per electrical plate No 3 of SSR 2009 Part-I and connection all as specified and testing on completion. Note: The cost of excavation and earth work, PCC pit and pit covers, funnel and watering pipe, wire mesh, charcoal dust and common salt, 40mm dia, medium grade, GI pipe as protection to earth lead and earth lead as 32x6mm dia GI strip (main earthing lead from earth electrode to test point length not less than 7.5mtrs) shall be deemed included in the unit rate for earthing.
