S&F in repairs, stand post made out of mild steel pipe of size 80mm dia heavy grade of 1.2m height and providing necessary flanges at both ends suitable for fire hydrant single out let including flanged reducer and other fittings suitable for stand post with necessary welding to existing pipe including earthwork in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs, cotton synthetic fibre reinforced rubber line of size 63mm dia 15m length conforming to IS 636 with male and female couplings conforming to IS 903 duly housed in fire hose box complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs, hose box of size 750 x 600 x 250mm outdoor type made out of 1.2mm thick mild steel sheet with frosted glass doors, lock and key arrangement including stand for the hose box made out of 80mm dia medium grade mild steel pipe, 1.50m height, welded at top and bottom with 6mm mild steel plate, duly embedded in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate and painted as per fire code, the hose box shall be installed near the hydrant by providing 2 Nos of cotton synthetic fibre reinforced rubber line of size 63mm dia 15m length with male and female couplings duly housed in fire hose box complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs, 63mm dia water monitor with gun metal nozzle conforming to IS 8442 complete all as specified and directed.

Complete removal of existing paint from existing fire hydrant stand post of any size and type at vaious location of RCI and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer as per colour code including writing 8cm size letters in white colour (FIRE) complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 7 above but for Hose boxes

Supply, laying welding, fixing, leak proof testing and commissioning of 200mm bore, medium grade mild steel ERW pipes conforming to IS 3589 with bitumen wrap coating over the external surface of the pipe including necessary specials/fittings and taking down old unserviceable pipe complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation and earthwork will be measured and paid seperately.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each layer as in soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material/soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Bailing out the water from the semi underground static water tank of 1,35,000 litres capacity without causing any interruption to regular water supply system and cleaning the walls, roof and floor thoroughly by using scrapper and removing the deposited scales/ fungus/ sludge/dirt etc and removing the same out of site, cleaning thoroughly with water and bleaching powder and finally with chlorine solution for complete anti bacterial disinfections including writing date of cleaning on the black back ground with white synthetic enamel paint complete all as directed.

M&L, Construction of brick masonry valve chamber, 1000 x 1000 x 1000mm (Internal dimensions) with PCC foundation 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate 150mm thick, 100mm wide offsets alround over 100mm thick hard core, brick masonry walls built in CM 1:6, 50mm thick coping and floor in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, finished even and smooth, rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4, finished even and smooth without using extra cement internally and externally upto 150mm below GL including top of floor including excavation earthwork in any type of soil, 3mm thick mild steel sheet cover fixed on 40mmx40mmx6mm thick angle iron frame with hold fasts embedded in PCC coping with locking arrangement, mild steel handles and painting to steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer including disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm buried directly in ground ( earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep bellow ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m bellow normal ground level, connected to galvanized earth lead wire 4 mm dia. by means of galvanized iron or steel bolts , nuts , check nuts and washers, and connected to equipments as directed , including funnel with GI med grade watering pipe 20 mm bore , wire mesh , charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layers of 15 cm compacted thickness all around the earth electrode , with concrete pit in PCC 1 : 3 : 6 type C-1 , 50 mm thick pre cast RCC 1 : 2 : 4 type B-1 cover slab reinforced with 8 mm dia deformed bar 15 cm C/C and suitable handle of 10 mm dia round bar ,GI medium grade pipe for earth lead protection including necessary excavation earth work in soft/loose soil and disposal of spoil to a distance n.exc. 50 m and necessary testing complete all as shown on electrical plate No. 5 of MES SSR Part-I and as directed.

Disconnecting electrical connection from the centrifugal pump motor main housing of 40 HP capacity and taking out from the installed position, transporting for repairs/ servicing to an approved workshop and transporting back after carrying out repairs, servicing/overhauling, assembling, installing in its original position and connecting up all electrical connections, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed. Note: 1) Unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be include the cost of packing materials. 2) Spares replaced will be measured and paid for separately as Supply only.

Cutting and taking out the burnt out winding from the stator carefully, cleaning the stator from the deposits of burnt copper and carbon using necessary cleaning agent and applying slot insulation with Melinex paper and rewinding the stator with super enamelled copper wire of same guage and same number of turns as that of existing carefully and tying the winding free from induction vibrations and bring the winding to operate on 415 volts three phase AC supply of 50 Hz, preheating in oven and applying the insulating varnish and post heating for attaining proper insulating strength for Pump motor of capacity 40HP complete all as specified and directed.
