M&L for preparation of old painted concrete surfaces by washing down with soap water of runway/ taxi track / road surface for painting with mechanical mode of application as lines, dashes, arrows, letters and the like exceeding 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of runway / road marking paint aqua based white / golden yellow / black / orange colour as approved by Garrison Engineer to give uniform finish complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Masking tape / steel wooden frame or template should be used on edges of paints before painting work and removed the masking tape after paint is applied where ever required and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The contractor has to ensure that the lines, dashes etc. marked with paint shall be in proper shape and finish as required. Any erroneous marking shall be make good by the contractor on his own cost and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

M&L for preparing of existing concrete surfaces / plastered / unplastered surface of wall and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint in red / yellow / white colour as approved by by Eingineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted concrete surfaces of runway, taxi track, link / dispersal and applying one coat of cement base paint of colour as approved by Garrison Engineer to give uniform finish complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Masking tape should be used on edges of paints before painting work and removed the masking tape after paint is applied where ever required and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for one coat of black synthetic enamel paint as back ground on three sides of DTGM (1.20 mtr x 1.50 mtr) and red colour retro reflective tape numerical /alphabet letter (150mm width and 1000mm height) on two side complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick masonry quions, arches, pillars etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Unserviceable material retrieved under this item is contractor property and necessary amount as per schedule of credit shall be deducted from the contractor dues. (ii) Rubbish shall be removed out site from MOD land. (iii) Serviceable bricks retrieved shall be reused in respective items of this schedule.

Taking down cement plaster on brick wall and ceilling including raking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L brick work with sub-class 'B' bricks (old size bricks) straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius, built in cement and sand mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L brick work except bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius, built in cement and sand mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Serviceable Bricks obtained under demolition of respective item shall be used.

M&L 15 mm thick rendering in cement and sand mortar (1:4) on fair faces of brick work surfaces or concrete surface finished even and fair complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling bricks (laid flat or on edge) or bricks tiles in floors, channels, kerbs, aprons, etc (each layer) laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Unserviceable material retrieved under this item is contractor property and necessary amount as per schedule of credit shall be deducted from the contractor dues. (ii) Rubbish shall be removed out site MOD land. (iii) Serviceable bricks retrieved shall be reused in respective items of this schedule.

M&L for repair to broken/damage portion of concrete slab or pavement of surface area not exceeding 10 square centimetre and depth not exceeding 15 mm by cutting damaged portion to slab / spoil edges to triangular / rectangular cross section and removing all loose and foreign materials and depositing the same to out side MOD land and cleaning the surface by compressed air to remove all dust dirt etc and washing with hydrochloric acid and filling epoxy resin mortar after application of epoxy primer as per manufacture instructions, bull nosing the edges complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Material obtained from damaged portion of concrete slab shall be removed from out side MOD land.

M&L for preparing of existing construction / contraction / dummy / expansion joints including removing filled material in joints of runway by removing the cracking out joints 25 to 30 mm wide and 40 mm deep including removing all loose material and cleaning the joints with brush and removing all loose fine particles with compressed air and providing a suitable dia polyurethane back up rod/debonding strip and top 13mm primed and sealed with using polyurethane based sealing compound with suitable primer as per manufacturers recommendation polyurethane sealent complying with BS-5212 & BS-4254 and EN 141875-2003 (for hydrolysis / water resistance test) priming the sides with minimum MAF± 30 % (with ten years performance guarantee) and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealent and removing the masking tape after sealent is applied complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Material obtained from removing of existing filled up materials shall be removed from out side MOD land.

Cutting/scarping grass manually and removing material out side MOD land obtained from cutting and cleaning both side runway PTT near DTGM board complete all as specified and directed. Note: - (i) Grass shall be cut and finished 10 mm to 25 mm above the existing ground level. (ii) All foreign materials (stone pieces etc) obtained during cutting of grass shall be removed from out side MOD land. (iii) Materials obtained from cutting of grass shall be removed out side of MOD land

S&F double layered toughened glass consiting of 5mm thick clear toughened glass and 5mm thick black toughened glass with 10mm spacing both the glass, border of the glass sealed with rubber gasket and aluminium beeding as per manufacturer's instruction, fixed in aluminium frame work in ATC tower complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and running of grass cutting machine mechanically operated with tractor minimum 40 HP capacity and cutting 50mm to 100mm or above slasher where ever required including collecting the grass through mechanical tools like cultivator and removing grass retrieved from cutting / cleaning, outside MOD land. Mechanical slasher of size 5-6 feet, rotary type, blade made out of high carbon,complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Contractor will arrange his own mechanical slasher (set of one tractor & jungle jeem) with POL & MT driver. The mechanical slasher will be in operation from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM (including lunch break of 0.5 hour at mid day) every day in week as per instruction, however department will have the right to stop the work any time even in working day due to security point of view. (ii) A log book/sheet shall be maintained by JE(Civil) and the same shall be signed by Engineer-in-Charge & contractor daily for the purpose of calculating daily working hours which shall be actual mode of payment. (iii) The rate quoted by contractor is including of all T&P, POL and operator mentioned above. (iv) On requirement contractor shall arrange more than one mechanical slasher per day as per order. (v) T&P should not be m ore than 5 year vintage. (vi) T&P should be at par with Air Force requirement, if not smae shall be modified to meet the requirement.

Supply and running tractor with minimum 40 HP alongwith cultivator / other tools for ploughing of SGA not less than 25 cm in depth complete all as specified and directed. Note: - (i) Contractor will arrange his own tractor and cultivator with POL & MT driver as per requirement of air field. The requirement shall be intimated to contractor in advance. (ii) A log book/sheet shall be maintained by JE(Civil) and the same shall be signed by Engineer-in-Charge & contractor daily for the purpose of calculating daily working hours which shall be actual mode of payment. (iii) The rate quoted by contractor is including of all T&P, POL and operator mentioned above. (iv) On requirement contractor shall arrange more than one mechanical slasher per day as per order. (v) T&P should not be m ore than 5 year vintage. (vi) T&P should be at par with Air Force requirement, if not smae shall be modified to meet the requirement.

Supply and running of earth moving plant/Backhoe loader with minimum loaded capacity of one cubic metre of loaded bucket for excavation and levelling of soil alongwith one skilled driver and one semi skilled helper, including fuel / lubricants etc complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: - (i) A log book shall be maintained by JE(Civil) and the same shall be signed by Engineer-in-Charge & contractor daily for the purpose of calculating daily working hours which shall be actual mode of payment. (ii) Earth moving plant/Backhoe loader deployed shall not be more than 5 years old from the date of manufacturing. Contractor to provide the registration documents to Engr-in-Charge on this account. (iii) Actual working hours shall be calculated based on actual running of machinary as directed by Garrison Engineer and excluding of transit hours.

S&F in repair visible sign board of area exceeding 0.70 sqm and not exceeding 1.80 sqm each, made from 4mm thick engineering grade plastic (acrylic sheet) having monolithic structure to withstand temperature varaitions from cold environment to swelling hot conditions and to withstand high velocity winds framed and braced with 40mm dia PVC pipe best quality to with stand high ground level with best quality structure including excavation in post holes of size 30cm x 30cm x 45cm, PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate and making 600mm wide plinth around frame of 50mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate over 75mm thick hardcore over rammed earth, providing and pasting numerals/alphabet with retro reflective tape (cutting by computer plooter etc.) complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair 4mm thick acrylic sheet of any size as in visible sign board complete all as specified and directede. Note:- Make of acrylic sheet shall be as per sample kept in sample room of GE office / as approved by GE.

M&L for cleaning drain any shape and any size of runway and removing sludge, soil, mud, grass and vegetation roots from drain and removing of materials obtained from cleaning ie. sludge, mud, soil etc to out side of MOD land complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- To determine the depth of sludge levels initially and after cleaning of drain shall be taken and recorded in MB.

M&L for cutting of grass, shrubs, vegetation, bush, weed by bush cutter operated slasher where ever required including cleaning the both sides / edges of runway / PTT removing of materials obtained from cutting to out side of MOD land complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: - (i) The contractor shall arrange bush cutter machine on requirement basis alongwith operator including POL etc from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs (including half an hour lunch break). (ii) The output of bush cutter machine shall be 1000 square metre per day per machine including cleaning / removing of materials obtained from cutting to out side of MOD land. (iii) Site/area of grass cutting shall be handed over as and when on requirement basis. Contractor shall start the work immediatly whenever site is handed over to him. (iv) A log book shall be maintained by JE(Civil) and the same shall be signed by Engineer-in-Charge and contractor daily for the purpose of calculating daily working hours which shall be actual mode of payment.

M&L removal of paint from concrete surface using water blasting / vacumming system / grinding with suitable water pressure so that paint deposited removed from runway rigid surface without use of any chemical and no damage to the existing surface complete all as specified and directed. (i) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicator. (ii) Total paint deposite should be removed and the debris / water to be vacummed simultaneously leaving no FOD so that the runway is available for operation immediately. (iii) The machine make to be deployed for runway paint removal should have E-in-C's approval eg. SH 8000, SH50000, SK3000. (iv) Paint debris should be solid form when finally dosposed.

M&L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letter, etc. on roads, pavementsand the like exceeding 10cm wide with raod marking paint, white or golden yellow with adequate number of coats complete all as specified and directed.

Repair to cracks of PQC 1. Surface preparation-Cleaning the cracks that have been contaminated to the extent it is possible and practical. The crack should be cleaned and all the loose concrete if any, of plaster which sounds hollow when tapped shall be removed. Contaminants such as oil, grease, dirt or fine particles of concrete pavement, epoxy / bonding materail which may reduce the effectiveness of the repair shall be removed as per the manufacturer recommendation. Ensure the crack areas should not have any vissible dampness and must have surface moisture <4%. 2. Fixinf of Grouting Nozzle-All the cracks must be open wide and drill the holes of 6-10mm dia with atleast 50-75mm into the concrete. The nozzles shall be placed at 500mm c/c using Bostik ERM, an epoxy repair mortar system having Compressive Strength of 95 MPa as per ASTM C109, Tensile Strength 15 MPa as per ASTM C307 and flexural Strength of 30 Mpa as per ASTM C078. Ensure that the adhesive shall not block the drilled holes. 3. Injection Grouting using Low Viscous Epoxy Resin grout system-Mix the two component, low viscous, non pigmented liquid epoxy resin system Bostik LVEP having final compressive strength of 70 MPa and curing time of 7 days. The epoxy resin system must be low viscous with high cpaollary action, non shrink and deep penetration with hard and abrasion resistant and shall be able to withstand loads and stress. Injection of the epoxy grout shall be done from the farthest point point towards the center keeping regular eyes for the next hole to avoid any wastage of material. Once the grouting is done and injected, eoxy is cured, cut the nozzle and seal the holes with the Bostic ERM system.

Demolition of PCC floor, plinth and paving not exceeding 15cm thick below or above ground level complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 100mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-2, (Using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) laid in alternate bays as floor, finished concrete surface with spike rolling or making impression of expanded metal whilst the concrete is green including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L providing PCC 1:4:8 type D-2, (Using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) (PQC graded) as in floor and paving exceeding 150mm thickness below or above ground floor with concrete breaker / manually as required at site and removing rubbish out side MOD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L cement concrete work in pavement / hard standing of flexulral strength 40 Kg per sq cm in field using minimum 400 kg of cement per cubic meter and thickness of concrete 250mm or less laid in bays including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

Finishing the surface of concrete in pavement / hardstanding by belting and brooming complete all as specified and directed.
