Stripping off worn out plaster and raking out joints of walls, celings etc. upto any height and in any floor including removing rubbish within a lead of 75m as directed.
Scraping of moss, blisters etc.thoroughly from exterior surface of walls necessitating the use of scraper, wire brush etc. (Payment against this item will be made only when this has been done on the specific direction of the Engineer-in-charge)
Dismantling carefully wooden walling, flooring of ceiling and stacking dismantled materials as directed.
Dismantling all types of masonry excepting cement concrete plain or reinforced, stacking serviceable materials at site and removing rubbish as directed within a lead of 75 m.b) Extra rate for each addl. Floor over the rate of ground floor.
M.S. works in brackets made from flats, angles, tees etc. to sizes specialy bent, twisted, forged; making holes drilled and fitted to rafter of trusses with necessary bolts, nuts, washer or screws etc. (length of straight not less than 230 mm)
Welding in M.S. structural work with gas or electric:(b) Continuous weld.
Labour for assembling, hoisting, placing, fitting & fixing tubular roof trusses. (d) Above 9 m to 12 m span
Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. (i) Pakur Variety
(a) Applying 2 coats of bonding agent with synthetic multi functional rubber emulsion having adhesive and water proofing properties by mixing with water in proportion (1 bonding agent : 4 water : 6 cement) as per Manufacturer's specification [Cement to be supplied by the Department]
Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out joints including throating, nosing and drip course, scaffolding/staging where necessary (Ground floor).[Excluding cost of chipping over concrete surface] (i) With 1:6 cement mortar. a) 25 mm thick plaster.
Renewing cornice (with mouldings but without floral or similar intricate patterns) including necessary masonry work and 15 mm. thick cement plaster(1:4) complete Ground Floor (ii) Projection (175 to 225) mm. (b) Depth (150 to 200) mm (Cement 8.0Kg/Mtr.)
2nd Floor
Renewing worn out putty of glass panes :(a) Panes not exceeding 0.2 Sq.m.
Multiple-band moulding (horizontal or vertical) made with 15mm cement plaster (1:4) complete : In 1st floor. (ii) Projection 40 mm (b) Depth or width (125 mm to 150 mm) (Cement 3.74Kg/Mtr.)
Wooden venetian/ Louvered valves, fitted and fixed with plated hooks complete: (i) 19mm thick valves.(b) Ordinary teak.
Rough dressed timber planks fitted and fixed with nut bolts excluding framework complete : (ii) 35mm thick planks (a) Sal Malayasian ground floor
Venetian shutters of doors and windows as per design with valves fixed to valve and rod with plated hooks including cost of plated hooks and fitting, fixing shutters in position but excluding the cost of hinges and other fittings. (i) 50mm thick shutters with 19mm thick panel. (b) Ordinary teak.
Asbestos corrugated (Trafford or similar approved quality) sheet (6 mm thick) work (excluding the supporting framework) fitted and fixed with 9.5mm. dia. J or L hook-bolt and nuts, limpet and bitumen washers and putty with 150 mm end lap & one corrugation minimum side lap complete. (Payment should be made on area of finished work) (a) In Roof
Rendering the Surface of walls and ceiling with White Cement base WATER PROOF wall putty of approved make & brand.(1.5 mm thick).
Priming one coat on plastered surface with Alkali Block primer mixing with pre treatment coat ( P.T.C) of Akzo Nobel make including smoothening surface by sand papering, putty of approved make etc. complete in all respect as per direction of the Engineer In Charge.
(b) Priming one coat on timber or plastered surface with synthetic oil bound primer of approved quality including smoothening surfaces by sand papering etc.
Protective and Decorative Acrylic exterior emulsion paint of approved quality, as per manufacturer's specification and as per direction of EIC to be applied over acrylic primer as required. The rate includes cost of material, labour, scaffolding and all incidental charges but excluding the cost of primer. ( Two Coat).c) Super Protective 100% Acrylic Emulsion.
(A) Painting with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and brand including smoothening surface by sand papering etc. including using of approved putty etc. on the surface, if necessary : (a) On timber or plastered surface : With super gloss (hi-gloss) - (iv) Two coats (with any shade except white)
Removal of rubbish,earth etc. from the working site and disposal of the same beyond the compound, in conformity with the Municipal / Corporation Rules for such disposal, loading into truck and cleaning the site in all respect as per direction of Engineer in charge.
Hire and Labour charges for providing suitable scaffolding (Bhara/Laddar) and removing the same as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge at different places under Governor's Estate.
