Construction of Sach Khas to Kumar Parmar Bhatori road Km 0/000 to 11/280 (Package No HP-02-36) under PMGSY-IV (Batch-I, 2025-26) in Distt Chamba (H.P.)

Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil, setting out true to the required lines, grades, width cutting and trimming of side slopes to level as shown in the drawing and as directed by engineer-in-charge at site according to the MORD technical specification section 300 and 1600 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads, lifts in acquired width of road and transportation of un-useful material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load and animal transport and mechanical means along with its leveling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. The land for dumping sites shall be arranged by the Contractor himself and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. Any loss to the public, private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. The removal of slips during the construction period shall be responsibility of the contractor. Loosening of the ground upto a level of 300 mm (three hundred millimetre) below the subgrade level, watered, graded with motor grader and compacted in layers to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with three wheel 80-100 (eighty to one hundred) Kn static roller for subgrade construction as per MORD Technical Specification section 300. as per direction of Engieer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidential. The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, and any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with in all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading by mechanical means to required slope and compacted with three wheel 80-100 (eighty - hundred) kN static roller to meet requirement of Table 300.2 complete as per MORD technical Specification section 400 and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, and any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drain and Parapets etcetra in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiseling /wedging out rocks (Where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specification section 300 and 1600 and as per direction of the Engineer- In – Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any lead and lift including dressing of sides, bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layer not executing 150 mm (one hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water ) upto any depth any quantam of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, and any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Back filling with granular material behind abutments, wing walls, return walls and retaining walls complete as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical specifications section 1200 and 1600 and as per direction of Engineer – in- Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental . Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded materials, as per table 401spreading in uniform layers with tractor mount grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with three Wheel 80-100 (Eighty-hundred) kN static roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per MORD Technical Specification section 400 for grading-I Material, as per the entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing, laying, spreading and compacting by mechanical means crushed stone aggregate size 63mm to 45mm ( sixty three millimetre to forty five millimetre) Grading-II [75mm ( seventy five millimetres) consolidated thickness) to water bound Macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness using template, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 (eighty to one hundred) K.N. static roller in stages to proper grade and camber including applying and brooming, stone screening type-B of size 11.2mm ( eleven point two milimetres) nominal size at the rate of 0.20 cum ( zero point two zero cubic metres) per ten square metres and binding material at the rate of 0.06 cum ( zero point zero six cubic metre) per ten square metre to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density as per M.O.R.D. technical specifications section 400 and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer – in- Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, and any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Construction of plastic cell filled cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, with 53 grade Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) or any other type as per Clause 1501.2.4 M30 (M-thirty) Grade. Coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS : 2386, maximum in a concrete mixer of not less then 0.2 cum (zero decimal two cubic metre) capacity and appropeiate weigh batcher using approved mix design(As per IRC 44-2088, laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel, wedges, steel plates including levelling the fomwork as per drawing), spreading the concrete with sholvels, rakes, conpacted using needle, screed an plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation, Concrete should have a slump of 30-50MM with use of approved plasticizer if required. Formwork of plastic cells should be made of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), sheets having thickness ranging from 0.21mm (zero decimal two one microi metre) with sides 150MMx150MM (one hundred fifty millimetre into one hundred fifty millimetre) and height as fixed by engineer in charge. Cells should be stitched using thread, thus ensuring optimum joint strength. Joint strength should be a minimum of 2 (two) Kilo Newton per metre. Heat welded cells should not be procured as they are not able to withstand the tension and often break when they are laid in the full width of the carriageway. Iron spikes of about 200MM long are to be used to keep the cell walls taut. Nylon thread or rope may be used to prevent collase of cells during placement of concrete. Iron spikes to be taken out for use in other place as soon as the concrete is in place. The subbase should be provided with concrete/stone block or brick on edge on either side of the carriageway protecting the subbase with full thickness of the concrete pavement for its confinement and protection. Curing of concrete slabs for 14 - days, curing compound ( where specified) and water finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and Technical Specification of cell filled Concrete Pavement Published by NRRDA. All Items/materials required use in construction as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental. Providing and Laying of cold applied thermoplastic compound road marking paint 2.5mm (two decimal five millimetre) thick with refletorising glass beads at the rate 250 gram (two hundred fifty) gram per square metre area, thickness of 2.5mm (two decimal five millimetre) is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per specificaiton and with strips of 0.10 (Zero decimal one) metre width in centre lines or edge lines of the road as per the directions of Engineer-In-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated plain cement concrete in all type of structure as per drawing and MORD technical specification section 800, 900 ,1200 and 1600 for nominal mix 1: 4: 8 (one cement isto four sand isto eight graded crushed/broken stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size and curing complete including pumping or bailing out water, dewatering, removal of slush as required at site which may arise at the time of laying concrete complete for all heights/depths including the cost of form work in retaining walls, breast walls etcetera as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials, within all leads, lifts and other incidentals.
