Taking out old unserviceable earthing GI plate, any type incl all connected accessories complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old unserviceable GI strip 32x6 mm complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old unserviceable GI wire 4 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old unserviceable GI pipe 15 mm any type complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode 6mm thick of size 600x600 mm buried directly and vertically in ground with top edge of the plate not less than 2.25 mtr from GL, connected with galvanised iron strip 32x6mm all as shown in Plate No-3, including 40mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering alongwith funnel connected to the earthing test point, concrete pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 with RCC precast pit cover slab 400mmx400mmx50mm with handle for lifting made out of 8mm dia MS rod, funnel, wiremesh, 50 mm dia light grade GI tubing for protection of GI Strip 32x6mm, charcoal and salt in alternate 150mm thick layers around GI earth plate, including necessary excavation returning filling in & removal all as specified or indicated in SSR Part-I, including testing to achieve earth resistance value as per IS specification on completion. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing GI strip 32 x 6 mm for extension of earth and connected to equipment or panel complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for earthing with galvanized iron earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6.0 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized iron wire 4 mm dia (8 SWG) as earthing lead protected by GI pipe medium grade 15 mm bore for protection of GI earth wire and 40 mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering alongwith funnel, alternate layers of charcoal /coke and salt including all accessories like nut, bolts, reducer, nipple, wire mesh/screened funnel and making brick masonary finished chamber of internal size 300 mm x 300 mm x 300 mm with concrete base, covered with PCC cover with lifting handle by 10mm dia bar which shall be embedded in the brick masonary including excavation works, refilling, connected to main switch/MCB DB compete all as specified and as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I and testing of earth resistance as required. Note : Earthing lead/G.I.Earth wire upto 7.5 metre length shall be deemed to be included in quoted unit rate beyond 7.5 metre, the same shall be measured and paid separately).

S&F earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 4mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for testing of old earthing using calibrated earth tester and shows earthing on higher side results as specified in IS rule and do not show continuity should be replaced with new earthing items are considered as below. Note : (i) Watering of earthing with 2 Buckets (30Ltrs) water mixed with salt (total 10 Kg) shall be carried out one day prior to the testing & the cost of the same shall deemed included in unit rate quoted.

M&L for painting of earthing pit background with black colour and writing arial font with white colour the type of earthing i.e. earthing No., type of earthing result in Ohm and date/Month/Year of testing of earthing, due date for next testing all as directed by Engr-in-Charge Note :- This item will be considered for old and new earthing pit

Replacement of old earthing pit brick masonary finished chamber of internal size 300 mm x 300 mm x 300 mm with 1:2:4 concrete base incl covered with RCC cover 1:2:4 incl 10 mm bar with lifting handle by 10 mm dia bar which shall be embedded in the brick masonary including excavation works, refilling,removal etc incl wire mesh screened funnel complete all as specified
