Earth work in excavation in foundation and trenches in soils containing 50% or more of shingle or small size boulders upto 30 cm size, lift upto 1.50 m and stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 m clear from the edge of the excavation and returning the stacked soil in 15 cm layers when required, into plinth, sides of foundation etc consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil as directed within a lead of 50m.

Providing and laying in foundations and plinth cement concrete 1 : 4 : 8 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) excluding the cost of centring and shuttering.

Brick work with best available local bricks in foundations and plinth in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand).

20 mm cement plaster 1 : 4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand).

Providing corrugated G.I.sheet roofing fixed with galvanised iron J or L hooks, bolts & nuts 8 mm dia with bitumen and G.I. limpet washers or with G.I. limpet washers filled with white lead complete, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses. a) 0.80 mm thick GI sheet

Providing ridges or hips 60 cm overall in plain G.I. sheet fixed with galvanised iron J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8 mm dia. G.I. limpet and bitumen washers complete. a) 0.80 mm thick GI sheet

Steel work in built up tubular trusses including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer welded and bolted including special shaped washers etc complete (welding to be paid separately).

Providing and fixing G.I Pipe 32 mm dia Railing Top, Middle and Bottom Rail with inbtermidiate vertical G.I Pipe 20 mm bar @ 2.00 Mtr C/C distance i/c Welding, Painting two or more coats steel paint and fixing complete as per direction of Engineer - In- Charge

Extra for providing and fixing wind ties of 40 x 6 mm flat iron section.

Neat cement punning.

White washing with lime on new work (two or more coats) to give an even shade.

Distempering with dry distemper of approved brand and manufacture (two or more coats) and of required shade on new work including priming coat of whiting to give an even shade.

Applying priming coat with ready mixed primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel work.
