SPECIAL REPAIR TO ROAD INSIDE COD AGRA AND SPECIAL REPAIR TO ROAD FROM JCOS MESS TO OLD HANGER IN 9 PARA FD REGT UNDER GE (WEST) AGRA

M&L for preparing black-top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes to remove caked mud, sweeping with brooms, and cleaning the surface with air blower/power compressor through air jet to remove all loose dirt, dust and other foreign matter, complete all as specified and directed

M&L for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen VG-10) @ 5 kg per 10 sqm over prepared black top surfaces by mechanical sprayer operated on hot pressure mechanism complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for providing, laying, spreading premix bituminous macadam (Design mix) (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with 4% binder content using paving bitumen VG-30 grade by weight of total mix laid with self-propelled mechanical paver and rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller and vibromax roller complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Premix Bituminous macadam shall be obtained from hot mix plant and spreading shall be done with mechanical paver and asphaltic dense concrete work shall be done within 48 hours after completion of rolling and consolidation of bituminous macadam. (ii) The contractor shall quote the rate based on the binder content specified above. If the actual binder content used is found to be less than the specified binder content, the contract rate shall be reduced proportionately for the shortfall in binder content. However, no extra payment or price adjustment shall be admissible if the actual binder content exceeds the specified binder content. (iii) Job mix formula (design mix) of premix bituminous macadam shall be approved by GE.

M&L for providing, laying, spreading bituminous premix Semi-Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) (design mix), 30 mm consolidated thickness, with 5.5% binder content by weight of the total mix, using paving bitumen VG-30, laid with self-propelled mechanical paver, and rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne capacity power road roller to the required camber and gradient, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Premix concrete shall be mixed in hot mix plant, transported from plant to work site and laid / spread by means of mechanical paver. (ii) The contractor shall quote the rate based on the binder content specified above. If the actual binder content used is found to be less than the specified binder content, the contract rate shall be reduced proportionately for the shortfall in binder content. However, no extra payment or price adjustment shall be admissible if the actual binder content exceeds the specified binder content. (iii) Job mix formula (Design mix) of SDAC shall be approved by GE.

M&L for repairing potholes of any shape, not exceeding 1 sqm each and not exceeding 30 mm in depth, including sweeping the surface free from dust, mud and water, scoring the sunken surface, cutting the edges to a minimum depth of 25 mm, applying tack coat with paving bitumen (VG-10) at the rate of 5 kg per 10 sqm, filling with premixed bituminous macadam, with 4% of paving bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix, compacting by ramming, sealing with binder at the rate of 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blinding with 6.3 mm size stone chippings at the rate of 0.09 cum per 10 sqm, and finally ramming/compacting to a true and even surface, including supply of screened and graded road metal, premixed bituminous macadam, binder and stone chippings, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparing road surfaces and applying thermoplastic reflective road marking, 2.5 mm minimum thickness in a single coat, as centre line, edge line or other road markings of 100 mm/150 mm width, using hot-applied thermoplastic reflective paint of approved make, in white or yellow colour, applied by self-propelled thermoplastic road marking machine, including premixing and application of all constituents such as binder, titanium dioxide, glass beads, calcium carbonate, fillers and additives, with glass beads conforming to BS 6088 and MoRTH Specifications, including surface preparation, application and simultaneous spraying of glass beads, complete in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, complete all as specified and directed

M&L for demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings, not exceeding 150 mm thickness (below or above ground level), and providing and laying factory made machine-pressed precast concrete interlocking paver blocks of approved shape and size, conforming to IS 15658:2006, 80 mm thick, M-40 grade, manufactured with grey cement and approved pigments, laid over 20 mm thick sand cushion and 75 mm thick PCC 1:3:6, Type C-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as sub-base, including filling joints with fine sand, compacting with plate vibrator, dressing and finishing the surface true to line, level and slope, complete all as specified and directed

M&L for providing and laying factory-made precast cement concrete kerb stones of M-25 grade at or near ground level, set to the required line, level and curvature, jointed in cement mortar 1:3 (1 part cement : 3 parts coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves, the joint thickness (except at sharp curves) not exceeding 5 mm, providing drainage openings wherever required, and finishing complete, all as specified and directed

M&L for preparing new or previously untreated concrete surfaces of any description, exceeding 10 cm in width or girth, and applying two coats of 1st quality synthetic enamel paint (approved tint) over and including one coat of primer, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Painting to kerb stones in alternative shade/ tint as approved by Engineer-in-Charge shall be carried out and quoted rate shall include for this aspect.

M&L for cement concrete work in pavements/hard standings using design mix concrete having a characteristic flexural strength of 40 kg/sq cm (4.0 MPa) in field at 28 days, with a minimum cement content of 400 kg per cubic metre of concrete, laid in panels, not exceeding 25 cm thickness, including placing, vibrating, finishing the surface even and smooth, curing and forming construction/dummy joints as required necessary form work, complete all as specified and directed Note: (i) Construction joints / dummy joints / expansion joints shall be measured and paid for separately under the relevant item of work. (ii) Design mix shall be approved by GE before execution of work. In case, quantity of cement as per actual desgin mix works out less than 400 Kg/Cum of concrete, then minimum cement as 400 Kg/Cum of concrete shall be used without any extra cost to the MES. In case, cement as per actual design mix is more than the 400 Kg/Cum of concrete, the actual quantity as per design mix shall be used in the work without any extra cost to MES.
