Repairing and repainting of Manapad radar station steel tower (28 Mtr), VSAT antenna, DG set and shelter to be carried out with polyurethane two part painting system (i.e. one coat of primary paint and two coats of final paint). Scope of also includes following:- (i) Chipping, buffing surface preparation of entire radar tower structure and other allied structures as mentioned above prior commencement of painting work. The scope of work area for the day need to be completed part wise so as to get effective/ moisture less painting surface. (ii) Repair/ replace corroded MS pipes or structures with the same material. (iii) Paint application method:- As per ISO 12944-5:2018(E). (iv) Paint and supporting materials specification:- (aa) Paint- Polyurethane, Two part, Air-drying/ Stoving, industrial grade(IG) (ab) Primer, Polyurethane, Two part, Air-drying/Stoving, industrial grade(IG) (ac) Thinner for Polyurethane, Air- Drying/ Stoving paint industrial Grade(IG) (ad) Adhesive, Epoxy, Metal set, aluminum Filled, Room temperature curing. (ae) Stopper (Putty), Nitrocellulose (NC)
