Services of running and operation of following Silent DG sets installed in HQ 21 Corps Adm Bldg at Dronachal by deploying FGM - 01 Nos in one shift for 08 hours (from 0800 Hrs to 1600 Hrs) on all working days including Sundays and holidays all as directed by Engineer in charge :- (a) 160 KVA - 1 Nos Make: Kirloskar (b) 100 KVA -1 Nos Make: Greaves Cotton. (c) 40 KVA -1 Nos Make: Kirloskar Note : FGM (ITI qualified ) - 01 Shift per Day (i.e 01 FGM per day)

Services of running and operation of following Silent DG sets installed in Signal centre at Dronachal by deploying FGM - 01 No in one shift for 08 hours (from 0600 Hrs to 1400 Hrs) on all working days including Sundays and holidays all as directed by Engineer in charge :- (a) 100 KVA - 1 Nos Make: C&S (b) 30 KVA -1 Nos Make: C&S Note : FGM in (ITI qualified ) - 01 Shift per Day (i.e 01 FGM per day)

Important Notes :- (i) Minimum wages as per Minimum Wages Act 1948 shall be paid to the tradesmen by the contractor. Proper wages paid record shall be maintained and submitted to Engineer-in-charge. Contractor shall supply log book, attendance register, payment register and operator shall be responsible to maintain the log book daily and submit to department duly completed along with attendance register and payment record register at the end of every month. All provisions as laid down in Contract Labour Act 1970 such as payment of minimum fair wages, working conditions, etc shall be complied by the contractor. (ii) The contractor shall quote the rates for deputing man power and reliever arrangement as per labour commissioners rule requirement of labours as given in BoQ. (iii) The staff employed by the contractor shall be responsible for carrying out cleaning of all equipments, plants and machineries in a presentable condition for inspection at all time. If required, the contractor will employ more manpower to carry out the duties assigned above and no extra payment will be made on this account. Rates quoted by him will be deemed to be included, complete all as directed and specified by Engr-in-Charge. (iv) The contractor shall carry out routine check and maintain check sheet daily/ weekly/ monthly all as per manufacturers instructions/SOP and upkeep the installation, rectify normal troubleshootings and will submitt daily updated log sheet at the end of every month in the AGE E/M office. (v) Verification of antecedents of Contractors representatives/ trained personnel/labour deployed at site in connection with execution of work under the contract, as per security requirement of User Unit/installation shall be the responsibility of the contractor and all expenses in connection with verification of antecedents by Police Authority/security Agency shall be borne by the contractor. (vi) Qualification :- The team comprising 01 No of FGM in one shift for 08 hours including sundays and holidays total 01 Nos of FGM shall be engaged per day for duty for the DG sets The FGM deployed should posses ITI in electrician trade with minimum 03 years of experience in the same. (vii) Staff engaged for maintenance/operation of the installation will not leave the installation under any circumstances. (viii) Contractor will provide all kinds of stationary as required for the work as directed by the Engr-in-Charge during currency of the work. (ix) All tradesmen will be in uniform (grey colour formal trousers with full sleeved light blue colour shirt) with name plate/badge as approved by GE, cost of these is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (x) All tradesmen shall be individually life insured under group insurance scheme or any other scheme for minimum of Rs.1.00 Lakh. Insurance certifcate in this regard shall be submitted to Enginer-in-charge before commencement of work. (xii) The contractor shall quote the rates inclusive of cleaning the installations / equipments and kept ready for inspection at all times and the an area within 6m radius of the installations shall be cleaned and kept tidy. The DG Sets shall always be kept in functional state. (xiii) The FGM employed in the work shall be responsible to collect the fuel and the POlL items from AGE E/M POL store through his own arrangements. (xiv) The contractor will ensure for shifting of the FGMs employed from HQ 21 Corps to Signal Centre and vice versa on requirement as desired by AGE E/M. (xv) If the quoted amount is less that the estimated cost of the work i.e, as per NIT amount then the lowest bidder will have to deposit FDR/BGB in favour of Accepting Officer within 07 day of opening of Financial Bid for the difference in estimated cost i.e, NIT amount and quoted amount. In case the said FDR/BGB is not submitted wihtin the stipulated period as mentioned above, the contractor shall be banned for 06 months and his bid will be rejected. FDR/BGB shall be released only after satisfactory completion of work.
