M&L for cleaning, flushing of chocked and de-silting of outdoor sewage lines n.exc 300mm internal diameter of any depth upto three meter. The cleaning shall be carried out with mechanized operation by means of diesel/electric operated vehicle mounted hydraulic operated high pressure suction cum jetting machines fitted with pump of requisite capacity and the sludge sucked out with super succer machine of required capacity and sent to storage tanks for further disposal to the authorised disposal sites. The sludge deposited in the sewage line shall be fully cleaned and disposed off the same outside the MoD land at any distance and without any additional cost on the same day when it was taken out. The job shall be carried out with safety precaution equipments and with strict supervision complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) The service provider/contractor during the mechanized operation shall be equiped with gas monitor, nylon rope ladder, torch light and compressor blower etc alonwith the sewage cleaning truck mounted suction/jetting machine. (b) Manual cleaning operation/scavenging is prohibited. (c) The unit rate quoted by the contractor shall interalia deem to include the cost of proviiding skilled driver and operator and supervising Engineer including provision of water for jetting and removal of sludge/silt/liquid/mud and sand (in foul position) etc (d) The effective length of pipe for the purpose of payment shall be excluding the length of manhole.

Excavating in trenches in any type of soil, not exceeding 1.5m wide, not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation for manholes / shafts or sewer line etc and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n exc 25 cm soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials/surplus soil out side of defence land up to a total distance of 1.5 Km complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (salt glazed ware, AC or reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar, bore of pipe 150mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregrate) in concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipe of 150 mm bore after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.
