BRIDGE WORK: Earth work in excavation for structures for bridge in all depths as per drawing and technical specification clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width, camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner filling of unevenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the whole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.
Providing and laying mechnically mixed and vibrated concrete for plain / reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802,803,1202 & 1203. Plain cement concrete nominal mix 1:5:10 (one cement : five sand : ten graded/crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size) including cost of form work and curing complete within all leads, lifts carriage of material and other incidentials.
Providing and laying mechnically mixed and vibrated reinforced cement concrete grade M 25 (twenty five) in sub-structure as per drawing and Technical Specificationand curing complete within all leads, lifts carriage of material and other incidentials.
Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in sub-structure complete as per drawing and technical specifications including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals as per clause 1600 and 2200.
Back filling with granular material for bridge work behind abutment wing wall and return wall complete as per Drawing and technical specification and carriage of material within all leads, lifts/depths and other incidentals as per clause 701.1.4 and 2200.
Providing weep hole in brick masonry/ plain/ reinforced concrete abutment , wing wall, return wall with 100mm dia. AC pipe, extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1V:20H towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specifications and carriage of material within all leads, lifts/depths and other incidentals as per clause 2706 and 2200.
Cutting in earth work in all depths and heights in all kinds of soils including saturated soil comprising of pick work, jumper work and blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiselling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) or their intermediate classification of soil including dewatering wherever required, setting out to the required lines grades, side slopes, trimming of bottom and levels as shown on the drawing and as directed by by the Engineer-in-charge at site according to the HPPWD specifiocation of 1990 volume-1 and sorting of useful and unuseful materials and stacking the useful material along road side and transportation of the un useful material for filling in roadway embankements for grade improvement and level to required grades and then disposing off all surplus excavated material in acquired width of the road or on approved dumping site through all modes of transportations including head load, animal loads or mechanical means along with its levelling and fine dressing and carriage of all labour machinery, materials, tools, equipments and safety measured and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and or labor (if any required complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge). Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution and transportation of useful and un useful materials shall be absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be dully compensated by him to full extent complete in all respects and in all cases.

Coursed rubble masonry first sort in cement mortar 1:5 (one cement : five sand) in substructure complete as per drawing and technical specifications clauses 702, 704, 1202, & 1204 and curing complete including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and laying filter media with granular crushed aggregates as per specification to a thickness of not less than 600 mm (Six hundred millimetre) with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and providing over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall, return wall to the full height, compacted to firm condition complete as per drawing and technical specification Clause 1204.3.8 and hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry/plain/ reinforced concrete abutment wing wall, return wall with 100mm.(One hundred milimetre) dia PVC pipe extneidng through the full with of the structures with slope of I (v) : 20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 614,709,12.04.3.7 within all leads and lifts and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Back filling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 1204.3.8 granular material including hauling of material within all leads and lifts and other incidental charges as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits within all leads and lifts , transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300.1 and 300.2 as per technical specification clause 301.5 and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Stone soling properly hand packed filling interstices with kharanja stone and consolidating with power road roller to the required gradient and camber including spreading watering and rolling of binding materials moorum or earth etcetra complete as per HP.PWD. specification. 100mm (one hundred millimetre) spread thickness (finished work including materials and labour) including carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Manufacture , Supply and transportation of one number 48.76 mtrs (forty eight point seven six metre) 160 feet (one hundred sixty feet) (DDR) span baily bridge with standard size carriage width of 3.277 meter suitable for IRC class Ä"loading load class 30R including including reinforcement of bridge by providing chord reionforcement including panel pins, short chord bolt etcetra to complete the work and hauling of materials through all modes of transportation within all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction of Engineer - in - Charge.
Launching of one number 48.76 mtrs (forty eight point seven six metre) (160 feet (one hundred and sixty feet ) DDR span bailey bridge with standard size width of 3.277 meter suitable for IRC load class 30R including hauling of launching equipment and other materials necessary for launching through all modes of transportation within all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction of Engineer - in - Charge.
