Basic Rate : Refer Schedule'A' Notes

Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation, for laying of pipe, cable etc or n. exc.10 Sqm on plan and n. exc. 1.5m in depth for shafts, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item no 1 above but depth exceeding 1.5 mtr and not exceeding 3.00 mtr deep and getting out complete all as specified.

Returning, filling in excavated approved soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm each complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and spreading clean and dry fine sand free from sharp materials (unwashed) laying in trenches around the cable for cushioning in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23cm (15cm under the cable & 8cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18cm thickness complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable covers, Class HVP type1 with peak, size 300 mm x 180 mm x 40 mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of poles etc all as specified.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for coapping of pole complete all as specified

Taking up of under ground HT Cable of any size along with protection cover/ bricks and removing from site complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and laying or fixing or passing in trenches/ on pole/ through pipes, 11000 volts grade XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor of cross section area 95 sqmm, 3 core and testing on completion complete all as directed. Make:- Havells or Finolex or Gloster or Plaza or Universal as approved by GE.

Laying only dismentaled HT cable cover covering with protection cover/ bricks as a mechanical protection to cable complete all as directed. Note:- Old protection cover/ bricks as obtained from item No. 9.00 here in before shall be used.

Supply & fix steel tubing GI light grade for cable protection passing under road /floor or for fixing to poles all as specified and as directed of size 80 mm bore complete all as specified and directed. Make - JINDAL / ZENITH/ TATA as per approved by GE

Supply & fix steel tubing GI light grade for cable protection passing under road /floor or for fixing to poles all as specified and as directed of size 100 mm bore complete all as specified and directed. Make - JINDAL / ZENITH/ TATA as per approved by GE

Supply & lay RCC hume pipe for Road crossing of cables class NP-2 of size 100mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting of hardstanding/ Road for laying of pipe line/ cable and making good surfaces as per existing after laing of pipe line/ cable complete all as all as specified and directed.

Drilling (Horizontally) to existing road by trenchless technology (maximum 10M wide) suitable for passing GI tubing of dia upto 80mm/ 100mm as required at site complete all as specified and directed. Note:- All necessary T&P required at site for drilling shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost and quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95sqmm and testing on completion complete all as directed. Make:- M SEAL or RAYCHEM or DENSON or CAB SEAL as approved by GE.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95sqmm and testing on completion complete all as directed. Make:- M SEAL or RAYCHEM or DENSON or CAB SEAL as approved by GE.

M&L for cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95sqmm and testing on completion complete all as directed. Make:- M SEAL or RAYCHEM or DENSON or CAB SEAL as approved by GE.

Dismantling carefully the existing U/S HT/LT overhead line ACSR conductor of any size from its position by necessary disconnecting of conductor and removing complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply, fixing and stretching of new aluminum conductor steel reinforced of any size for over head line securing on pole complete including binding wire, jointing sleeves aluminium tap and PG clamp etc complete all as specified and directed. Make: Indian Aluminium Co or Bharat conductor or Aluminium India as per approved by GE

Labour only for re-straining of existing ACSR/ GI conductors of any size on existing insulators of HT/ LT poles with and including new aluminium binding wire or tape and new GI binding wire complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) One length shall be measured and paid for complete span of 4 to 6 numbers of conductors including GI wire. (ii) One span shall be considered from one pole to another pole or from one fixing point to another fixing point as per site conditions. (iii) All necessary T&P required at site for re-straining of existing ACSR/ GI conductors shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost and quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (iv) Quoted rates shall be deemed to be included for renewal of jumper and tree branch cutting if required to make safe distance from pole / OH line.

Note for item 21-22 Quoted rates shall be deemed to be included for Jumper on cut point /2 pole structure/4 pole structure shell be provided with PVC insulated sleeves.

Labour only for re-straining of existing ACSR/ GI conductors of any size on existing insulators of HT/ LT poles with and including new aluminium binding wire or tape and new GI binding wire after removing /opening of binding from disc/ pin insulator complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) Each wire/ conductor shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) One span shall be considered from one pole to another pole or from one fixing point to another fixing point as per site conditions. (iii) All necessary T&P required at site for re-straining of existing ACSR/ GI conductors shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost and quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (iv) Quoted rates shall be deemed to be included for renewal of jumper and tree branch cutting if required to make safe distance from pole / OH line.

Dismantling existing unserviceable guard wire with cradles of any size from HT/LT OH line and removing from site of work complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix GI continuous earth wire & cradle 4mm dia on cross arms of poles for guarding including binding with aluminum wire 16 SWG etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of existing old insulator of any size and type complete from its position and checking for re-fixing & removal of unserviceable insulators from site complete all as directed.

Re-fixing of old LT pin type insulators as obtained from item No 27 here-in-before in old or new position as asked complete all as specified and directed.

Re-fixing of old LT shakel type insulators as obtained from item No. 27 here-in-before in old or new position as asked complete all as specified and directed.

Re-fixing of old HT disc type insulators as obtained from item No. 27 here-in-before in old or new position as asked complete all as specified and directed.

Re-fixing of old HT Pin type insulators as obtained from item No. 27 here-in-before in old or new position as asked complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixi new pin type porcelain, vitreous, white/ brown/ green insulator 100mm high and 65mm dia including one galvanised mils steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, suitable for 1100 volts grade complete all as specified and directed. Make : JAYSHREE or JAIPURIA or WS insulator as approved by GE

Supply and fixi new pin type porcelain, vitreous, white/ brown/ green insulator 150mm high and 150mm dia including one galvanised mils steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, suitable for HT 11000 volts after taking out the old unserviceable insulator complete all as specified and directed. Make : JAYSHREE or JAIPURIA or WS insulator as approved by GE

Supply and fix new disc type insulator, porcelain, vitreous white/ brown/ green 145mm high and 225mm dia ball & socket type single disc assembly for tension with GI tension clamps for conductors for working pressure of 11000 volts complete all as specified and directed. Make : JAYSHREE or JAIPURIA or WS insulator as approved by GE

Supply and fix new disc type insulator, porcelain, vitreous white/ brown/ green 145mm high and 225mm dia ball & socket type, 'TWO IN SERIES' assembly for tension with GI tension clamps for conductors for working pressure of 11000 volts complete all as specified and directed. Make : JAYSHREE or JAIPURIA or WS insulator as approved by GE

Supply and fix new shackle type insulator, porcelain, vitreous white/ brown/ green 75mm high and 90mm dia including galvanized MS straps of size 31x3mm, 12mm dia GI bolts, nuts and washers suitable for working pressure of 1100 volts complete all as specified and directed. Make : JAYSHREE or JAIPURIA or WS insulator as approved by GE

Dismantling of unserviceable stay assembly carefully including stay wire necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, demolition of PCC of any type and removing from site complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Stay Assembly with stay rod of 16mm dia complete with accessories as shown in electrical plate No.01 with and including loop type insulator & stay clamps complete all as directed. Note:- Loop type insulator, stay clamps, excavation and earth work and PCC shall be measured & paid separately under respective items of BOQ.

Dismantling of existing old cross arms, bracing, supports etc of any section , FI clamps, nuts, bolts etc. from OH line and checking for re-use & removal of removal of unserviceable cross arms, bracing, supports etc from site complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminum paint complete all as specified and dircted.

All as per item No.45 above but using old existing cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps etc as obtained from item No. 44 here-in-before including cleaning, removing stain and painting with two coats of aluminum paints over & including a coat of red oxide (primer) complete all as specified and directed.

Dismentling of air breake gang operated switchs vertical/ horizontal mounted HT 33/11 KV incluidng insulators and operating mechanism for repair/ replacement of broken/ worn out components and insulators etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of new switch air break gang operated triple pole mechanically operated out door with all fittings/ accessories mounted on & including porcelain insulators and steel frame with operating mechanism worked from ground level with & including operating rod of 25mm dia GI pipe medium grade (ISI marked) with MS handle with locking arrangement, for current rating up to 200 Amp 11000 Volts including drop out fuses of suitable capacity to suit gang operated triple pole 11 KV switch, connecting, commissioning and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Make:- JAIPURIA or PACTIL or BHEL or MEI as approved by GE.

Dismentling of unserviceable drop out fuse assembly complete and removing from site complete all as direted.

M&L for drop out fuse assembly for 11 KV, 3 Phase of 100 Amp capacity each pole, consisting of galvanized steel base paper fuse carrying brackets, mounting channel, separating rod complete all as specified including labour for taking down old unserviceable DO unit & removing form complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make:- JAIPURIA or PACTIL or BHEL or MEI as approved by GE.

Dismantling of existing unserviceable HT/LT electric poles of any section, size & type after dismantling of PCC coping, necessary excavation and earth work if required since same has already been considered under item Nos. 52.00 & 53.00 here-in-after, opening of MS cross arms/ clamps, insulators and carefully taking down of existing over head copper conductors or aluminium conductor as required including removal from site as dircted.

Supply and fixing 9.0M long steel tubular swaged pole type 410 SP-31 complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, nuts, bolts, screws and washers all as specified including two coats of painting with black bituminous paint upto embedded portion before fixing of poles and two coats of painting with aluminium paint over a coat of primer on exposed surface after fixing complete all as shown in TD drawing No. CEJZ/TD/824/91, Sht No1/2 dt 16.04.91 including following items/ works complete:- (a) Excavation in post holes in any types of soil, returning fillingin, well ramming and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50M from the starting points complete all as specified and directed. (b) PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation up to ground level complete all as specified and directed. (c) PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in copings/ collars, bed plates, plinth block etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed. Re-fixing of HT/LT electric poles of any section, size & type i.e. steel tubular swaged/ PCC pole complete at new location after dismantling of existing HT/LT electric poles & PCC coping, making necessary excavation and earth work, opening of MS cross arms/ clamps, insulators & stay wire etc and carefully taking down of existing over head copper conductors or aluminium conductor as required including removal from existing site to new site, fixing/ re-fixing of pole shall be carried out complete all as shown in TD drawing No. CEJZ/TD/824/91, Sht No1/2 dt 16.04.91 and re-fixing of old existing cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps, insulators & stay wire etc etc as obtained during dismantling including following items/ works :- (a) Excavation in post holes in any types of soil, returning fillingin, well ramming and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50M from the starting points complete all as specified and directed. (b) PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation up to ground level complete all as specified and directed. (c) PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in copings/ collars, bed plates, plinth block etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing in replacement complete with galvansided steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6.0mm thick directly burried in the ground (earth pit not less than 2.25M deep below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.50M deep below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 32x6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, 40mm bore GI pipe medium grade including necessary fittings for protection of earthing strip, watering pipe 20mm bore GI medium grade, concrete chamber in PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm grade aggregate, coping shall be in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm grade aggregate and internal surfaces of concrete chamber shall be given 12mm thick plaster in CM (1:4), funnel with wire gauge of 22 gauge (0.63 mm) 8 mesh per linear incl 50mm thick cover of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm grade stone aggregate reinforced with 8mm MS deformed bar @ 75 mm C/C both ways, char coal dust and common salt all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I (2009) including all necessary excavation & earth work and removal of surplus soil to a distance n. exc 50M and providing connection points with MS/ GI bolts & washers as required and connection from earth test point to earth electrode with same GI earth strip alongwith protection pipe and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note:- GI strip and protection pipe from earth electrode to test point max upto 7.50M shall be deemed to be included in the unit rates as quoted by the contractor.

Note:- GI wire and protection pipe from earth electrode to test point max upto 7.50M shall be deemed to be included in the unit rates as quoted by the contractor.

Supply and fix galvanized earth strip 32 mm x 6 mm for earthing from earth plate to equipment complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of surface of existing PCC poles including cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps nuts, bolts etc and applying one coat of approved quality weather proof paint (apex) on HT poles of 9.2 mtr long above ground level and also painting with one coat of aluminum paint on steel surfaces i.e. cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps nuts, bolts etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of surface of existing PCC poles including cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps nuts, bolts etc and applying one coat of approved quality weather proof paint (apex) on LT poles of 7.5 mtr long above ground level and also painting with one coat of aluminum paint on steel surfaces i.e. cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps nuts, bolts etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of surface of existing steel poles including cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps nuts, bolts etc and applying one coat of approved quality aluminum paint on steel surfaces of HT poles of 9.0 mtr long above ground level including cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps nuts, bolts etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of surface of existing steel poles including cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps nuts, bolts etc and applying one coat of approved quality aluminum paint on steel surfaces of LT poles of 7.2 mtr long above ground level including cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps nuts, bolts etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for anti climbing device; spikes type fabricated out of MS bars (round, square and flat) including bolts, buts, washers and welding in two halves made to shape to suite the cross section of the pole including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and dircted.

M&L for 40mm graded stone aggregate for spreading in the substation or other places where directed.

Dismantling and taking down of existing old unserviceable deffective lighting arrestor HT 33/11 KV including removal from site as complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for new lightning arrestor Metal Oxide type complete with all fittings, transmision/ distribution class 10 KA, current rating 12 kA suitable for 11 KV system and mounting on poles including all necessary bolts, nuts and washers and making electric connection and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Make:- SCHNENIDER or BHEL or GE POWER or W/S INSULATORS or SOUTHERN INSULATORS or OBLUM as approved by GE.

Taking down of existing old jumper connection of 4 pole structure from line/ AB/ DO and providing new jumper connection complete with new conductor including line tap, lugs & PVC alkaline/ pipe sleeve complete all as specified and directed. Note:- ACSR conductor shall be measure & paid seperately under respective item of BOQ as "Supply and fix".

Taking down of existing old jumper connection of 2 pole structure from line/ AB/ DO and providing new jumper connection complete with new conductor including line tap, lugs & PVC alkaline/ pipe sleeve complete all as specified and directed. Note:- ACSR conductor shall be measure & paid seperately under respective item of BOQ as "Supply and fix".

Taking down of existing old old jumper connection of disc cut point from line and providing new jumper connection complete with new conductor including line tap, lugs & PVC alkaline/ pipe sleeve completion complete all as specified and directed. Note:- ACSR conductor shall be measure & paid seperately under respective item of BOQ as "Supply and fix".

Note for item 66-68- Jumper on cut point / 2 pole structure/ 4 pole structure shell be provided with PVC insulated sleeves. Quoted rates shall be deemed to be included for tree branch cutting if required to make safe distance from pole / OH line.

M&L for centrifusing (filteration/ dehydration) of TRANSFORMER oil of POWER TRANSFORMERS of capacity 33/11 KV etc including filter action by using automatic centrifusing machine including all necessary arrangement for electric supply for operation of machine to achieve minimum 40KV breaking capacity at 2.5mm gap by absorbing and abolishing of all sludge particles and making the oil useable as per BS-B 66-1983 including replacement of unserviceable silica gel and toping up/ replacement of unserviceable transformer oil complete all as specified & directed. NOTE :- New Transformer Oil & Silica jel shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ as "Supply Only" here-in-after.

M&L for centrifusing (filteration/ dehydration) of TRANSFORMER oil of DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMERS of capacity 11/0.433 KV etc including filter action by using automatic centrifusing machine including all necessary arrangement for electric supply for operation of machine to achieve minimum 40KV breaking capacity at 2.5mm gap by absorbing and abolishing of all sludge particles and making the oil useable as per BS-B 66-1983 including replacement of unserviceable silica gel and toping up/ replacement of unserviceable transformer oil complete all as specified & directed. NOTE :- New Transformer Oil & Silica jel shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ as "Supply Only" here-in-after.

Supply only for topping up of Transformers of any capacity in various sub stations under GE (E) Jabalpur with new transformer oil, low viscosity type having minimum 60KV breaking capacity at 2.5mm gap, conforming to relevant IS complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Savita or Power Oil or CASTROL as approved by GE. Note:- Transformer oil shall be supplied in sealed barrel/ container only.

Disconnecting carefully electrical connections from HT/LT sides of the transformer keeping them at safe side and taking out the transformer outdoor type 3.15 /1.6 MVA, 33 /11KV step down/ step up of any make and carrying out complete overhauling comprising of the following works/ items:-

M&L for lifting, transporting/ handling the transformer to workshop and opening top cover of the transformer by unscrewing nuts, bolts,washers etc including disconnecting core assy from HT/LT bushing and lifting the same gently and taking out from the shell (container/ body) of the transformer complete all as specified.

M&L for draining out transformer oil from the above said transformer in the suitable capacity of container/ drums and keeping it in safe custody for reuse.

M&L for cleaning of the transformer body from inside, removing deposited dirt/ sludge/ foreign particles etc from the bottom/ body of the transformer and drying/ heating up the shell from inside before refilling of the transformer oil complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning/ washing through core and winding of the tansformer by hosing down with clean dry oil conforming IS 335/983, removing deposited dirt sludge/ foreign particles from the windings/ core and re-varnishing of the windings with super varnish including heating/ drying/ packing complete carefully and throughly inside the heating chamber at suitable temperature to obtained required value of insulation resistance etc all as per IS complete all as specified and directed.

Lifting and refixing core assy inside the transformer shell gently and carefully,connecting of HT/ LT/ Neutral connections to the bushings assy, fixing of the tap change over including tightenting of nuts, bolts, washers of the core to reduce humming noise complete all as specified and directed.

Refilling the transformer oil in the shall of transformer only after carrying out filteration by heating up to oil 105 degree certigrade to active required dielectric strength and submission of the test results after filteration of oil on proper performa duly signed duly signed by Engr-in-Charge.

Refixing the top cover including replacement of cork sheet/ gasket, tightenting of nuts, bolts,washers etc complete all as specified and directed.

Lifting, transporting/ handling the transformer from workshop to the place from where removed and reinstalling the transformer including connecting HT/ LT/ Neutral/ Earthing connections etc complete all as per standard engineering practice and as directed.

Notes:- (i) Any damage to insulator/ bushes/ windings etc during in the custody of the contractor , shall be made good without any extra cost to the government/ department. The serviceability of the transformer shall be checked and confirmed by the contractor before taking into his custody.

(ii) The job taken for repair/ overhauling should be complete within 48 hours from the date of handing over the individual transformer, failing which, a recovery @ Rs. 3000.00/ day for the period delayed shall be made from the Contractor's RAR's / final bill or any other dues and in addtion to this, necessary arrangement for electric supply to the affected shall also be made by the contractor without any extra cost to the government/ department.

(iii) Rewinding / re-insulation of winding of HT/ LT coil shall be measured and paid seperately under respective item of BOQ.

Disconnecting carefully electrical connections from HT/LT sides of the transformer keeping them at safe side and taking out the transformer indoor type 500/400 KVA, 11/0.433KV step down/ step up of any make and carrying out complete overhauling comprising of the following works/ items:-

M&L for lifting, transporting/ handling the transformer to workshop and opening top cover of the transformer by unscrewing nuts, bolts,washers etc including disconnecting core assy from HT/LT bushing and lifting the same gently and taking out from the shell (container/ body) of the transformer complete all as specified.

M&L for draining out transformer oil from the above said transformer in the suitable capacity of container/ drums and keeping it in safe custody for reuse.

M&L for cleaning of the transformer body from inside, removing deposited dirt/ sludge/ foreign particles etc from the bottom/ body of the transformer and drying/ heating up the shell from inside before refilling of the transformer oil complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. 85 above but indoor type transformer of capacity 160 KVA, 11/0.433KV step down/ step up of any make including carrying out complete overhauling as specified in details against serial item Nos. 86.00 to 93.00 of BOQ and Notes thereon as specified against Srl item Nos. 94.00 to 96.00 of BOQ.

All as per item No. 85 above but indoor type transformer of capacity 63/100 KVA, 11/0.433KV step down/ step up of any make including carrying out complete overhauling as specified in details against serial item Nos. 86.00 to 93.00 of BOQ and Notes thereon as specified against Srl item Nos. 94.00 to 96.00 of BOQ.

Material and labour for HT coils of copper conductor of existing size/ gauge for TRANSFORMERs of any capacity complete with insulation of similar class as per exsisting, varnishing by vaccum impregnation and baking of coil assembly in oven, etc complete all as specified & directed.

Material and labour for LT coils of copper conductor of existing size/ gauge for TRANSFORMERs of any capacity complete with insulation of similar class as per exsisting, varnishing by vaccum impregnation and baking of coil assembly in oven, etc complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for removing the LT coils carefully from core and re-insulation of LT coils with same class of insulation as per exsisting, etc complete all as specified & directed

Supply and fix in replacement, HT pocelain bushing with brass studs complete with oil seal, gaskets, ring washer at site/ workshop as directed, for the following sizes of transformers after taking out/ drain out of transformer oil etc and refilling the same on completion of repairing work complete all as specified & directed :-

103 (a) Transformer of Capacity 50 to 100KVA.

103 (b) Transformer of Capacity 160 to 300KVA.

103 (c) Transformer of Capacity more than 300KVA but up to 500KVA.

Supply and fix in replacement, HT porcelain bushing (without stud ) as per existing make & model duly approved by GE suitable for transformer of capacity 315 to 500 KVA indoor /out door type 11000 volts complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement, brass stud 12 mm dia of suitable length as per existing make & model duly approved by GE suitable for HT/LT transformer terminals with BRASS nuts and bolts and washers 8 nos complete with oil seal, gaskets, ring washer etc after taking out existing bushings and refixing the same complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement, brass stud 16 mm dia of suitable length as per existing make & model duly approved by GE suitable for HT/LT transformer terminals with BRASS nuts and bolts and washers 8 nos complete with oil seal, gaskets, ring washer etc after taking out existing bushings and refixing the same complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement, brass stud 20 mm dia of suitable length as per existing make & model duly approved by GE suitable for HT/LT transformer terminals with BRASS nuts and bolts and washers 8 nos complete with oil seal, gaskets, ring washer etc after taking out existing bushings and refixing the same complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting the existing HT/LT cable from transformer terminals and taking down of existing Transformers of capacity 50KVA to 500 KVA from its existing position for shifting to new location to a distance not exc 2500 meters and fixing the same on pole structure/ PCC platform including making all necessary existing HT/LT cable connections and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) All necessary T&P required at site for shifting of POWER TRANSFORMER shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost and quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (ii) Cost of cable jointing materials such as cable glands & lugs etc as required shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

M&L for cleaning/ prepration of complete external surfaces of DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMER of capacity upto 63 KVA for painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of colour/ shed as approved by GE including writing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) with and including thick enamel paint of approved colour/ shed not exc 10cm in height for SM/ MES No. etc of tranformer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning/ prepration of complete external surfaces of DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMER of capacity 100 to 160 KVA for painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of colour/ shed as approved by GE including writing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) with and including thick enamel paint of approved colour/ shed not exc 10cm in height for SM/ MES No. etc of tranformer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning/ prepration of complete external surfaces of DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMER of capacity 200 to 300 KVA for painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of colour/ shed as approved by GE including writing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) with and including thick enamel paint of approved colour/ shed not exc 10cm in height for SM/ MES No. etc of tranformer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cleaning/ prepration of complete external surfaces of DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMER of capacity 315 KVA to 1.60 MVA for painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of colour/ shed as approved by GE including writing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) with and including thick enamel paint of approved colour/ shed not exc 10cm in height for SM/ MES No. etc of tranformer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement, breather of transformer of various capacities filled with silica gel as per existing make/ as per manufacturer's recommendations duly approved by GE complete all as directed by Engineer - in - charge.

Supply only silica gel as per existing make/ as per manufacturer's recommendations duly approved by GE suitable for indoor/ outdoor TRANSFORMERS in various sub stations under GE (E) Jabalpur complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for general maintainance/ over-hauling of 33KV high tension VCBs of different capacities incuding out door unit & indoor panel of VCBs comprising of the following works/ items:-

Callibration & testing of over current & earth fault relay by primary & secondary injection methods in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge and test results to be kept on record duly signed by Engr-in-Charge and contractor. .

Insulating the VCB track, greasing of wheels and checking for few movement for closing and withdrawing of VCB track as per standard engineering practice complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning/ wiping of the insulating components, primary & secondary circuits i.e. green spots, carbon deposits completely as per standard engineering practice complete all as specified and directed.

Testing of primary & secondary circuit with 1000 Volts megger for insulation resistance completely as per standard engineering practice complete all as specified and directed.

Flash testing of secondary circuit at 2000 Volts for one minute after disconnecting the instruments from the panel completely as per standard engineering practice complete all as specified and directed.

Testing, synchronisation/ calibration of meters and relays as per standard engineering practice complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning/ wiping of busbar, phase barriers, busbar support and sleeves as per standard engineering practice with and including replament of all unserviceable busbar support and sleeves with new one complete all as specified and directed. Note:- If unserviceable busbar support and sleeves replaced with new one, quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Supply and fix new resin cast epoxy coated high tension current transformer of dual ratio of 50-25/1/1 or 5 Amps, 10-15 VA burden out put, accuracy class-0.5 conforming to IS 2705/IEC 60044-1 suitable for rated voltage system of 11KV for metering/ protection of breakers after taking out the old unserviceable CT and testing on completion complete all as directed. Supply and fix new closing/ shunt trip coil assembly for VCB operating on 110/30 volts DC as per existing make/ as per manufacturer's instructions duly approved by GE after taking out the old unserviceable new closing/ shunt trip coil assembly and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation and commissioning of 11 KV oil immeresed new current transformer for metering and protection, single phase outdoor type, mounted on existing steel structure but with provision/ fixing of new bolts, nuts, check nuts, washers etc as required; for system rated nominal voltage 11 KV and system rated highest voltage 12 KV, 50Hz, CT ratio 150-75/5-5 Amps, rated burden 50 VA accuracy class 0.5, first filling of transformer insulation oil confirming to IS-336 and of dielectric strength 60 KV as per IS-1866 complete with all accessories after taking out the old unserviceable CT and testing on completion complete all as directed. Make:- Laxmi Engineering or AE or L&T or Crompton Greaves or SCHNEIDER or ABB or Kappa or any other make as approved by GE from list of make attached with tender documents.

M&L for cleaning/ prepration of complete external surfaces of POWER TRANSFORMER of capacity 1600-3150KVA, ratio 33/11 KV for painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of colour/ shed as approved by GE including writing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) with and including thick enamel paint of approved colour/ shed not exc 10cm in height for SM/ MES No. etc of tranformer complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for cleaning of LT/HT lines up to 4.0M all around from outer conductor by trimming of tree branches any numbers of any girth exist at site/ ground complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) One span shall be considered from one pole to another pole or from one fixing point to another fixing point as per site conditions. (ii) All necessary T&P required at site for cleaning of LT/HT lines shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost and quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Providing the cable fault locating machine with all necessary tool and plants at work site for locating the exact pin point of fault along with the exact length of armourd 6.6/11 KV XLPE/ PILCA insulated HT cable complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Cable fault locating machine along with all necessary T&P as required shall be arranged by contractor within very short notice as when asked by GE without fail and quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.
