SCHEDULE A BOQ
Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillars etc., including removing debris material to out side MD land complete all as specified and directed.
Precast cement concrete 1:2:4, type B1 (Using 20 mm graded granite stone aggregate) in landings, cover slabs (for manholes etc.),shelves and similar articles with plain faces and set in cement mortar 1:4 including taking down and removing rubbish material to outside MD complete all as specified and directed.
Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete or ceilings etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises, removal and depositing serviceable materials where directed and leaving the work clear of any plastering and Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or stone or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately. (b) The unit rate quoted is deemed to included for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land Note: Periodicity of cutting of grass shall be before commencement of work and after completion of repairs.

Brickwork with flyash bricks, straight or curved on plan to any radius, built in cement mortar (1:6) all as specified and directed.
Walling of random rubble, granite and trap (harder stones), uncoursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

SS Sign board pattern (SS to SS-7), fully retro reflective sign board made of 3mm thick ACP (Aluminum composit panel) sheet framed with 40mm round SS pipe having front/back (both) side entire surface fully bonded with retro reflective sheeting of HIP (High Intensive Prismatic) grade having pressure sensitive adhisive. boarders and message as indicated cut out. Back ground in Blue and matter in white colour tape having two posts of 50mm round SS pipe 3.0mtr long including excavating post holes of 30 x 30 x 30 cm and embedded in PCC 1:3:6 and including taking down and removing rubbish material to outside MD land complete and as directed by Engineer-in-charge
Providing and fixing madatory sign board of 600mm dia (with message plate) made out of 3mm thick ACP (Aluminum Composite Pannel) sheet framed with 25mm square pipe with base white and red boardedr and symbol in black colour tape (as per drawing). Back side in grey stove enameld paint including one MS pipe post of 50mm square pipe 3.0mtr long duly painted with alternate black and white bandsof 25cm width including excavating post holes of 30 x 30 x 30 cm and embedded in PCC 1:3:6 and including taking down and removing rubbish material to outside MD land as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Speed bump (SB-01) made out of plastic material so that it can bear maximum load on it. Two highly reflective reflectors moulded in PMMA material welded with ABS base plate through ultrasonic welding process and then fixed on speed bump so that dust and water canot tocu reflectors inside area. Metalic bolts are used for installation on road. size of size L=250mm, W=750mm, H=75mm) including taking down and removing rubbish material to outside MD land complete all as specified and directed.
Delineator made out of round MS pipe 2"dia and 3' ft long with five bands of reflective tape HIP grade. Three red (1"X6") and two white (2"X6") with jail and one coat of steel primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint including excavating post holes of 15 x15x 15 CM and embedded in PCC 1:3:6 and including taking down and removing rubbish material to outside MD land complete all as specified and directed.
Precast kerb stone of size 400mm x300mm x150mm in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate and set in CM 1:6 including removing the old damaged kerb stone from the site and deposit where directed etc including excavation if any required complete all as specified and as directed.
Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed. Note: 5% of the quoted rate shall be considered for adjustment in rate for every 3 cm or part thereof above or below of 15 cm average depth of surface excavation.
Repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting round edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal)
Reinforced Cement Concrete M-25 (Design Mix) using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation for drain and the like all as specified and as directed.

Bituminous Premixed Semi dense asphaltic Concrete, 30 mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen of Grade VG – 30, with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen, rolled and compacted ro required camber and gradient using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.
Note:- (i) The actual binder content for SDAC used shall be as per optimised content based on approved job mix formula irrespective of what ever indicated in BOQ. (ii) Price adjustment shall be done on MINUS side only based on paid vocher (without considering the permissible tolerance on minus side) with reference to binder content indicated in BOQ. (iii) No prices adjustment for Bitumen shall be done for variation on plus side.
Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags or using air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc to remove all dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer VG-10 at the rate of 2.5 KG per 10 Sq.m complete all as specified and directed.
75 mm thick , Moorum/ red bajri filling in road side berms, laid in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed/ rolled including watering to required level surface dressing of existing surface for making proper gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Quoted rate shall be deemed to inclusive for obtaining moorum field density not be less than 98% after consolidation.
Cat eye made of ABS body with scratch and abrasion resistant micro prismatic polycarbonate and ultrasonically welded lens. Temperature resistant body and lens (90X110X17mm) colour white/ red/ yellow fixing to road by using bitumen or epoxy etc complete all as specified and as directed. (Make : .(Make: 3M /Simsonite / Tata BP)
Rendering 15mm thick on fair face of stone surface in cement mortar 1:6 and 5mm thick floating coat in cement mortar (1:4) mixed with water proofing compound, finished even and smooth with out using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Supply only water proofing compound measured and paid separately.
Removing excavated material (soil) to a distance exceeding 50 M but not exceeding 150 M and depositing where directed at a level n.exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.
Providing and fixing Cautionary/Warning sign board having shape of an equilateral triangle of 90/60cm sides (with message plate) made out of 3mm thick ACP (Aluminum Composite Pannel) sheet framed with 25mm square pipe with base white and red boardedr and symbol in black colour tape (as per drawing). Back side in grey stove enameld paint including one MS pipe post of 50mm square pipe 3.0mtr long duly painted with alternate black and white bandsof 25cm width including taking down existing sign boards of any description and fixing in post holes filled with PCC 1:3:6 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Levelling of road side berm by filling, spreading with existing sand/Moorum at lower area and cutting at raise area the with mechanical machine and rolling of surface with road roller of capacity 8-10 tonne, including removal of extra cutting material ,boulders and other materials from area and all as specified and directed. Note :- The unit rates quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed to inclusive for (i) The work in cutting and filling shall be carried out as instructed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Black cotton soil/ vegetable soils and soils obtained from top 30 cm cutting shall not be used for filling and shall be disposed off as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (iii) Boulders or soft materials are encountered in cut slopes these shall be excavated to the approved depth as directed and the resulting cavities with suitable material and thoroughly compacted as directed. (iv) Cutting and filling shall be cleared of shurbs, vegetation, grass, bush, weed, trees and saplings not exceeding 30 cm in girth, measured at a height of one metre above ground level.
Preparation of painted surfaces of old concrete surface and applying one coat of synthetic enamel painting over 10 cm width or girth, complete all as specified and directed
Preparation of painted surfaces of new concrete surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel painting over one coat of primer over 10 cm width or girth, complete all as specified and directed
Note for item No. 39 & 40 :- (a) All synthetic enamel paint, plastic emulsion paint shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.
(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.
(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint, will be approved by the GE.
(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)
(e ) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE
(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.
(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.
(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.
Demolition of existing un-reinforced Cement Concrete in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 Cm thickness complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Concrete as demolished shall be sold to contractor on credit.
Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm, exc 50 mm and n.exc 100 mm deep complete all as specified and directed
Removal of demolished materials / debris etc. to a distance exceeding 1.5 KM and not exceeding 5 KM and depositing where directed complete all as specified and as directed.
Note: (i) Removal of demolished material obtained from Sl. item No. 41 to 43 upto 100m distance shall deemed to included in the rate quoted for Sl. item No 41 to 43 (ii) Removal of demolished material obtained from Sl. item No. 41 to 43 beyond 100 M shall only be measured and paid under this item.
Hardcore of gauge not exceeding 63 mm of broken stones or boulders, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface including demolition of existing undulated hardcore surface and removing the same complete all as specified and directed.
Material obtained from demolished materials / debris etc. deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.
Machine pressed rubber moulded precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and pigment any shape and size, polished confirming to IS-15658 of 60mm thickness M-40 grade, laid over and including M sand cushion of 50mm thick complete and packing the sides with PCC 1:3:6 all as specified and directed. Note : The Unit rate quoted is included for Demolition of Stone Slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc laid bedded and pointed in any mortar
Pavement Quality Cement Concrete (PQC) work in pavement slab / hard standing, in single layer, using design mix with minimum cement content 400 Kg/Cum to achieve flextural strength 45 Kg/sqcm on 28 days (lower concrete limit LCL) in pavement slabs, spread & compacted using vibrators and paving slip form conrete sensor paver min 4 m wide and Mechanical paver with electronic sensor (minimum 05m extendable with attachment to 8m wide to required gradient , using non circular synthetic fiber @ 0.25% by weight of cement, including necessary steel form work along the joints compacting finishing and belting/brooming all as specified and directed.
Note for item No 48 :- (a) Construction Joints/dummy joints and expansion joints shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items. (b) Deduction shall be made in computing concrete quantity for expansion joints. (c) Contractor shall consider 400 kg of cement per cum of concrete while quoting this item. Actual quantity of cement shall be used as per approved design mix. No price adjustment shall be applicable for excess quantity of cement content i.e beyond 400 kg as per approved design mix in execution of work. (d) Non circular synthetic fiber shall be mixed in the " PQC" @ 0.25% of cement all as per manufacturers instructions and as directed by Engr-in-charge.
(e) Supply only of POLYESTER TRIANGULAR/non circular synthetic fibre shall be measured and paid seperately.(f) Cost of brooming and belting shall be measured and paid seperately.(g) Cost of steel formwork and testing as specified shall be deemed to included in the rate quoted by the tenderer.(h)Maximum working temperature shall not exceed 30 degree centigrade of atmosphere.
Dry lean concrete of compressive strength not less than 10 Mpa at 7 days with minimum 150 Kg of cement/cum laid and rolled with double drum smooth wheeled vibratory roller of 8 to 10 Ton capacity complete including demolition of concrete and removing to out side MD land all as specified and directed.
Supply only polyester triangular/Non circular synthetic fibre ( Recron CT-2424 fibre) for pavement quality concrete PQC surface complete all as specified and directed.
One layer of polythene film (transparent colour) 400 micron thickness as per ASTM D2103/IS 2508 laid over tack coat with side and end overlapping not less than 300mm all as approved by GE. Forming construction joint, 25mm deep and 8 mm wide (using diamond cutter), applying one coat of white wash to the exposed vertical faces of slab, providing polyethylene rod 10mm dia and sealed with Polyurethane sealant (Minimum depth above polyethylene rod shall be of 10 mm) complying with BS: 5212 (For type 'FB' fire & fuel resistance) & BS : 4254 and EN-141875 - 2003 (For hydrolysis / water resistance test), priming the sides, minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF)±30% with ten years performance guarantee) and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surfaces to give neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied by mechanical means complete all as specified and directed.

Note: New mild steel fixed with replacing rusted or damaged portion will be measured separately.
1.25mm Mild steel, plain, black sheet in wall cladding, steel gates and similar work, cut to size, holes punched; including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to wood or steel framing with plain 40 mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams, including bending or turning up, mitred angles, etc. as required
Preparation of old concrete/precast cement concrete surfaces of any description including removing caked mud, making good disturbed tiles with cement paste etc and applying one coat of apex paint.
Renewing cement concrete tiles in patches, area n exc 5 sq.m. Including removing and cleaning old tiles, preparing beds and laying or setting, jointing and pointing new or old tiles complete all as directed. Note : The rate included for cutting out broken tiles, removing and cleaning loose tiles, preparing bed removing rubbish, roming and replaing old with new tiles to match, complete with all cuttings etc, that may be required. New tiles required is deemed to be included all as directed. The unit rate is also including necessary beding in cement mortor.
Galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc as directed (each line of wire to be measured) Note :- The unit rate is deemed to be included of dismantling existing unserviceable barbed wire.
Galvanised steel punched type concertina coil 1050mm dia (dia of coil with unstreched) and stretched for a length of 6mm while fixing and fixed to angle iron with 3.15mm dia GI wire all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- (a) Weight of coil with 50 turns and 129 No clips (15.2 Kg) (b) The unit rate is deemed to be included of dismantling existing unserviceable concertina coil.
