Excavation in trenches in any type of soil, n. exc. 1.5m wide and n. exc. 1.5m deep and getting out for laying of cables/pipes etc including forming bottom surfaces to the required level/slope complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm thick in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance n. exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 m above starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for approved river sand cushioning for under ground cable in trenches 8 cm before laying and 15 cm after laying of cable and punned thickness of sand shall be measured and paid for 18 cm only after punned/consolidated thickness complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bricks slightly over burnt (kiln burnt) , modular bricks , best quality, locally available , laid flat, dry, laid in trenches along the length of cable transvarsally with width equal to length of brick for cable protection all as specified and as directed.

S & F XLPE insulated and PVC armoured heavy duty electric cables with aluminum conductor, 1100 volt grade in trenches/through pipes/ducts or on poles/walls jointing to O/H conductor, LT panels, main switch with suitable size aluminum lugs and testing complete all as specified & directed for the following sizes:- (Note : Excavation shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items of BOQ)

Cutting the existing bituminious road for passing of UG cable in road crossing and making good the disturbed surface of road to its original specification copmplete all as directed.

Supply and laying galvanised iron pipe "light grade" 80mm bore in trenches, under floors, roads, along poles for protection of cable with all necessary fittings, including sealing ends complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing cable route indicator, made of MS sheet of size 200mm x 150mm x 3mm thick, spot welded with angle iron of size 40mm x 40mm x 5 mm thick, 750 mm long embedded in PCC (1:2:4) type B-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) block 30cm x 30cm x 40cm in ground including one coat of synthetic enamel black paint over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and writing with white paint showing size of cable LT complete all as specified & directed .

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode size 600mm x 600mm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically in a pit of depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground levels with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level surrounded from all sides by mixture of charcoal and common salt and electrode connected to and including galvanized strip of 32mm X 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized steel including GI pipe light grade of size of 40 mm dia for protection and GI pipe light grade 20mm dia bore for watering funnel with wire mesh. CI cover with frame, PCC chamber pit with PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 excavation and earth work all as shown in electrical plate No 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion.

Dismantling/ Taking down existing overhead line ACSR conductor of any description complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling/ Taking down existing cross arms of any description complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling/ Taking down insulator 1100 volts of any description complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing under ground boring using mechanical pneumatic drilling equipment / manually for passing electric cables through by providing HDPE pipe of 100mm dia heavy quality, pressure rating 6 kg/cm2 under the existing bituminous/WBM road/PCC hard standings, depth range not more than 1.5mtr deep and making good the distrubed surfaces is to match with its existing specifications all as specified and directed. Note : Any damage to the existing cables/water pipes/structures shall be made good by the contractor at his own expense.
