Pipe fitter (skilled) - 01 No for one shift daily

Note for item No 1 to 5 :- Diesel and Engine Oil for Thiruparkadal & Thirumalpur pump House and NORA will be issued as free for filling only at MES store yard. No transport/labour will be provided by department for shifting of POL, contractor materials, tools and operating staffs. (i) Operator must be skilled and must have knowledge of maintenance of DG set and attending minor fault when it arise (ii) Operator must have knowledge to maintain the daily log sheet as per Performa for DG set and pump set (iii) The operator must ensure the cleanliness in and around the surrounding of installation complete else an amount of Rs 500/- for each installation will be recovered for Non -cleaning of installation etc. (iv) Generator is to be operated during power failure from supply agency (TNEB) or as and when required by user (v) Plumbing of water to MRS sump daily. In case of breakdown the operator must inform to concerned JE of water supply and Engineer-in-Charge without fail (vi) The tradesmen employed must wear the uniform with name plate with name of contractor, under whom he is working. The amount of Rs 1000/- for each installation will be recovered in case of Non-wearing the uniform with name plate. (vii) Common mobile phone, Torch light, rain coat and gum boot to be provided to the duty person by the contractor in all the locations. Expenditure incurred in this aspect is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor (viii) Responsibility of contractor to provide reliever and no additional cost shall be claimed by the contractor. The rates quoted are deemed to be inclusive of the pay and allowances of the reliever (ix) Date of weekly/monthly maintenance should be entered in log sheet and signed by in charge of installation (x) Insurance cover for employees is must and is the sole responsibility of the contractor. Documentary evidence shall be submitted by the contractor to the Engineer-in-charge (xi) The amount of Rs 500/- for each installation will be recovered for Non-greasing of pump set and Non replacement of gland rope and gland packing of sluice valves etc (xii) Penalty clause against Low PF imposed by TNEB shall be recovered from the RAR

Material and labour for taking out submersible pump set of 1 to 7.5 HP capacity from open well/infiltration well using tripod chain pulley or any other means, dismantling from HDPE/UPVC pipe, opening pump set and carrying for repairs connecting back to the pipe and lowering the submersible pump set into open well/bore well in original position after repairs complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for opening up submersible/open well motor, taking out burnt out winding, cleaning the slots with CTC and rewinding the same with new PVC insulated copper winding wire of existing guage and turns & replacement of bush/thrust bearings, re assembling back into position by using new suitable studs etc, oiling and greasing and fixing back into position for making motor fully functional, testing for satisfactory running complete all as specified and directed for following capacities :- NOTE : (i) Lowering and lifting charges will be measured and paid for separately

Material and labour for opening centrifugal motor, 20 HP capacity, taking out damaged/burnt out winding three phase motor, cleaning the slots with CTC and rewinding the same with new super enamelled copper winding wire of existing guage and turns, including replacement of NDE/DE bearings and terminal plate with covers, cable lugs etc oiling and greasing and fixing back into position for making motor fully functional and testing for satisfactory running complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for dismantling centrifugal pump set 20 HP capacity for carrying out repairs, replacement of worn out parts such as impellers, bearings, gland metal bushes etc and reconditioning of spare parts such as shaft, impellers, housing body, bearing gland plate etc by metalling and machining to their original shape and size and assembling back into position by using new suitable gland dory, gland plate, gland/rubber packing including studs/gland bolts and nuts, coupling bushes etc, oiling and greasing for making pump set fully functional and testing for satisfactory running complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for opening submersible pump set, carrying out repairs, replacement of spare parts such as impellers, thrust bearing with plate, shaft etc, by metalling and machining of their original shape and size, assembling back into position by using new suitable gland/rubber packing including studs, flanges, bolts and nuts etc oiling and greasing for making pump set fully functional, applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer, testing for satisfactory running complete for the following capacities
