Construction and Resurfacing of road from Chuha gate to, R-5 Gate and surrounding area of CIRUS and DHRUVA, on Sea Side, BARC, Trombay, Mumbai.

Amount

Dismantling Bituminous road including stacking of serviceable materails and disposal of unserviceable materials within 200 m lead.

Preparation and consolidation of sub-grade (Proof Rolling) with power roller of 8 to 10T capacity including excavating earth to an average thickness of 22.5 cms depth, dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller including making good the undulations etc. and rerolling the subgrade and disposal of surplus earth within a lead of 200 m.

Providing and laying, spreading and compacting granular sub-base (GSB) material 300 mm thick (150 mm thick in each layer) compacted layer of crushed sand, murrum, gravel crushed stone and combination there of as per specification including spreading on the prepared sub grade, maintaining the required slope and grade and cross fall (camber) etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge (Compacted thickness only will be measured and paid for.)

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting hand broken/ crushed stone aggregate, 250 mm thick Wet Mix Macadam including premixing of material with water in mixing plant for Wet Mix Macadam, carriage of mixed material by tipers to the site and laying material in uniform thickness and laying by mechanical paver including rolling with road roller 8.10 tonne capacity in stages to proper grade and camber spreading and brooming etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge (Compacted thickness only will be measured and paid for.)

Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of grade 60/70 (VG 20) including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen mechanically / manually, cleaning and preparing the existing road surface as per specifications On WBM / WMM @ 0.75 kg / sqm.

Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bituumen of grade 60/70 (VG 20) including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen mechanically / manually, cleaning and preparing the existing road surface as per specifications On bituminous surface @ 0.50 kg / sqm.

Providing laying bituminous macadam of thickness 50 to 75 mm as directed on prepared surface with spcified graded crushed stone aggregate for profile corrective base / binder course including loading of aggregate with FE loader, hot mixing of stone aggregates and bitumen in hot mix plant, transporting the mixed material by tippers to paver and laying the mixed material with paver to the requied level and grade and rolling with road rollers, as per specification to achieve the proper compaction but excluding the cost of primer / tack coat with bitumen of 60/70 grade (VG 20) @ 3.5% (percentage by weight of total mix).

Providing and laying dense bituminous concrete of thickness 25 to 40 mm as directed on prepared surface with specified graded stone aggregate for wearing course including loading of aggregate with FE loader and hot mixing of bitumen with filler and stone aggregate in hot mix plant transporting the mixed material by tippers to paver and laying the mixed material with mechanical paver finisher fitted with electronic sensing device to the requied level and grade and rolling with road rollers, as per specification, to achieve proper compaction but excluding cost of primer / tack coat with bitumen of grade 60/70 (VG 20) @ 7% (percentage by weight of total mix).

Providing and laying 60 mm thick factory made cement concrete interlocking paver block of M-30 grade made with strong vibratory compaction and approved size, shape, design laid in required colour and pattern over and including 50 mm thick compacted bed of crushed sand, filling the joints with crushed sand etc. all complete as -per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge .

Providing and laying seal coat average 9.00 mm thiclness of premixed fine aggregate (passing 2.36 mm and retained on 180 micron sieve) with bitumen using 128 kg of bitumen of grade 60/70 (VG 20) bitumen per cum of fine aggregate and 0.60 cum of fine aggregate per 100 sqm of road surface including rolling and finishing with road roller all complete.

Painting road surface marking with Thermoplastic paint hot applied to give uniform finish with Glass beeds / power Topping, on bituminous surface in white / yellow shade including cleaning the surface of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign material etc complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Dismantling plain cement concrete manually / by mechanical means carefully without damaging adjacent structures including disposal of debris within 200 m lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling of RCC works carefully manually without damaging adjacent structures excluding cutting of reinforcement including stacking of steel reinforcement bars and disposal of unserviceable materials within 200 m lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling WBM Road manually / by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materilas within 200 m lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Lead charges for Lead exceeding 1 KM but not exceeding 2 KM, by mechanical transport including loading, unloading, stacking / levelling etc. For Debris Note: The rates in respect of this Item is applicable for NET Quantity arrived at after making deduction for voids @ 30% from corresponding TRUCK Measurement.

Providing, supplying "JCB" loader cum excavator, Dumpers including operator and helper for executing the work like excavation, grading, levelling, debris cleaning and other works all as directed by Project Engineer " As and whenever required" Conditions:- 1. The above rates shall be inclusive of JCB, Fuel, Operator, Helpers and other consumables etc. 2. The rates are inclusive of all Taxes. 3. In & Exit timings at Northgate / South gate/western sector gate of BARC shall be strictly considered for the billing / measurement/payment. 4. Break Down Hours and Lunch break timings shall not be considered for payment. 5. Fraction of hours shall be rounded off to nearest half an hour at the time of preparing running bills/final bill. 6. All the operators, drivers shall have valid Driving license and address Proof. 7. Rate shall be firm for the entire period of contract. No revision of rates shall be considered.

Providing and laying non pressure NP2 class RCC Hume pipes of approved make, with collars jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2, laying to the levels, slopes and as per the drawings and specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge including testing of joints etc. complete.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:3:6 (1 cement, 3 crushed sand, 6 graded stone aggregate of maximum size 20 mm) including consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specificationsand drawings but excluding the cost of Form work shuttering, centering Complete at all levels.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:2:4 (1 cement, 2 crushed sand, 4 graded stone aggregate of nominal size 20 mm) including consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specification and drawings but excluding the cost of Formwork shuttering, centering and steel reinforcement at all levels .

Extra for RCC/PCC Using Ready Mix Concrete from outside project area including transporting and pumping from approved batching plants . Note:- (i) In view of limit on water-cement ratio for durability requirements, concrete admixtures (Naphthalene / Melamine based super plasticizers) shall be used after taking prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge and the rates quoted for these items shall be inclusive of the cost of admixtures, trial mixes, testing (at site & at approved labs), etc. complete. Note:-Retention of slump for piling work shall be 150 mm after two hours.

Providing, centering, shuttering Form work using steel plates, timber planks for all types of structures including necessary strutting, proping, staging, supports, bracings etc. and deshuttering the same after the specified time all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge at all levels. Providing , laying and fixing at or near ground level Factory made Kerb stone of precast cement concrete M-25 grade in position and size of 325 mm height, 125 mm thick at bottom , 75 mm thick at top partly tappered (Supertiles make or approved equivalent) as per approved patterns and setting in position with C.M 1:3 (using crushed sand) including consolidation,curing, cost of required centering, shuttering, finishing smooth with 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:3 (using crushed sand) on exposed surfaces complete thick cement plaster 1:3 (using crushed sand) on exposed surfaces complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. ( Length finished Precast kerb edging shall be measured for payment)

Providing and Painting two coats of synthetic enamel paint on steel surfaces of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade over a primer coat.including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
