Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipes, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil/material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for bricks sub class ‘B’ laid flat and dry abutting each other with gap between adjacent bricks not exc. 10mm for protection of underground cable complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for sand (Local Tibba sand) filling under floors and similar locations including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Approved local Tibba dry sand free from vegetations, grass and other deleterious substances shall be used. (ii) For the purpose of payment, only consolidated thickness shall be measured

Supply, laying, jointing and testing LT XLPE insulated screened, bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium stranded conductor 1100 Volt grade cross sectional area 16 sqmm 4 core laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc complete all as specified including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable cable. Notes :- (i) Sand cushioning, cable protection, GI protection pipe, clamps, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) Road cutting/floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall be inclusive of the above provisions.

Testing and checking of faulty LT under ground cable with cable fault locating machine, repair the same after removing the fault of cable, any size, any type and testing of the same complete all as specified and as directed. Notes: (i) Sand cushioning, cable protection, GI protection pipe, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately (ii) If cable is damaged by the contractor’s workmen during the execution of work the same shall be provided/repaired by the contractor at his own cost complete to the entire satification of GE. (iii) Road cutting/floor cutting/cutting holes etc in wall required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing . Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall be inclusive of the above provisions.

S&F in replacement for cable jointing kit for 1.1 KV (Earthed) grade cabe for straight through heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3.5 Core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 150 Sqmm to 240 Sqmm, including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable joint kit, complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F in replacement bus bar chamber type of size 50x50x40 cm (Box size) with MCCB100 Amps, capacity and 16 KA backing capacity, bus bar chamber having 4 wire 415 Volts, factory made dust proof vermin proof for outdoor using made out of CRCA sheet 3.15mm thick power coated, machine pressed, single side opening, provision of rubber beading and locking system, including aluminium bus bar of 200 Amp capacity (considering 1 Sqmm = 1Amps) 4 strip mounted on DMC/epoxy insulator, bus bar chamber shall be provided with inspection cover, penal shall be mounted on angle iron frame and legs made from angle of size 40x40x6mm, frame and legs duly spray painted internally and externally with two coats of synthetic enameled paint over a coat of red oxide primer, leg grouted in PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate). Supply, installing, commissioning and testing in replacement LT panel board (outdoor type) cubical type made out of CRCA sheet 3.15 mm thick, dust and vermin proof and angle iron of size 50x50x6 mm, pedestal frame grouted in PCC 1:4:8 (type B1) 20 mm graded stone aggregate thimble and cable entry boxes with cable glands, panel should be covered from all sides with front and back lockable door and hinges complete including copper bus bar of capacity 600 Amps, TPN, three phase, 04 wire (in separate chamber). Panel shall be painting with two coat of synthetic enameled paint over a coat of red oxide primer and consisting of the followings:- (a) incoming MCCB, 4 pole, 315 Amp, 415 volts, breaking capacity not less than35 KA with microprocessor release – 01 Nos. (b) Outgoing MCCB, 3 pole, 200 Amps, breaking capacity not less than 25 KA. Fixed type – 01 Nos. (c) Outgoing MCCB, 3 pole, 100 Amps, breaking capacity not less than 16 KA. Fixed type – 02 Nos. (d) Outgoing MCCB, 3 pole, 63 Amps, breaking capacity not less than 16 KA. Fixed type – 02 Nos. (e) MCB TPN 40 Amp – 04 Nos (f) Digital Voltmeter 0-500 Volts – 01 Nos. (g) Digital Ameter 0- 200 with suitable ratio of CTs - 01 Nos (h) Changeover switch 200 amps -01 No (j) Indicator Set RYB “LED” type (Set of three) - 01 Set. Note :- (i) LT panel base frame shall be grouted in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate. The base shall be 60cm height from the nearest road level/floor level or as directed.(ii) All incoming MCCB shall be connected through MCCB spreaders with incoming bus bar and incoming cable shall be connected with incoming bus bar.(iii) Drawing of LT Panel shall be got approved well in advance from GE before fabrication of LT Panel. (iv) The quoted rate shall deemed to include supply & provision of 65mm lock with 2 keys. Make of Lock :- Godrej / Harrison / Link.(v) Cost of platform, MCCB spreaders, cable glands, locking arrangement with lock and key and any minor addition/alteration if required at site (the decision of GE will be final and binding regarding extent to which the change can be considered as minor addition/alteration) shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates.
