COMPREHENSIVE REPAIRS TO THE FENCING AND CONCERTINA COILS AND PERIODICAL PAINTING OF CERTAIN AREAS OF DISPERSALS AND TAXIWAYS, AIR FIELD MAINTENANCE INCLUDING EARTHWORK AT SHOULDERS, CUTTING OF GRASSES, BUSHES, SHRUBS AND OTHER VEGETATION AT INS UTKR

M & L for Periodic cutting of Grass with the help of Hand held Grass cutting Machine of reputed Make for Cutting and Sweeping Grass after cutting of Grass, bushes, small plants of any type along the sides of Dispersal Area, Taxi Track, Runway, Shoulders and Airfield areas throughout the contract period, including supply of Fuel, lubricants, spares, renewal of blades as required including maintenance and repairs to Machine and trade insurance and license fees including removing of debris to a distance exceeding 250m but not exceeding 500m from the site complete all as directed. Note : The rate quoted shall be deemed to be considering following provisions and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. [a] Area of Grass cutting shall be as decided by the Engineer-in-Charge and representative of users as and when required basis. [b] Periodicity of grass cutting, will be as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge in consultation with users. For this purpose, the tenderer shall maintain a register indicating the details of location, date, area, signature of Engineer-in-Charge, user's representative and Contractor. [c] The grass shall be cut so that the protruding grass shall not be more than 15mm above ground level and disposal as directed. [d] The work is required to be executed in highly restricted area along Main Runway. Therefore, the work shall be executed during non-flying hours either during Day or Night without causing any disturbance for flying. Proper safety arrangement, equipment shall be provided by the contractor for workmen. [e] On any of the days if the grass cutting team of labours does not attend the site complaint on the same day. Failing which a penalty of Rs. 2000 per 08 hours shall be levied and the decision of GE in this regard will be final and binding.

Dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates, grill, grating but excluding framed truss etc. complete all specified and directed.

Demolition of precast concrete block walling built in cement mortar complete all specified and directed.

Demolition of Cement Concrete (un-reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of Cement Concrete (reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for providing precast cement concrete Type B1 1:2:4 using 20mm graded aggregate as in landings, cover slabs (for man holes etc.) chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces using required form work for fair finished surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for Mild steel bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Mild steel bars 5mm dia and over upto and including 10mm dia as in stirrups, spacers and binders, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Plain Cement Concrete 1:4:8, Type D2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Plain Cement Concrete 1:3:6, Type C2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in surface channels and drains all as specified and as directed.
