Demolition of brick/stone work built in cement mortar complete including removal of rubbish all as specified and directed.

M&L for Walling of squared rubble, regular coursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 3, above, but using old serviceable stone retrived from demolition/Dismantling, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - charge.

Extra over stone masonry for hammer dressing to face stones and dressing of face, beds and joints as specified, of random rubble walling, uncoursed or brought upto courses with maximum depression on face from straight edge held against the dressed surface not exceeding 20 mm complete for lime or sand stones, complete all as specified.

M&L for Raking out joints/ pointing with cement mortar to squared rubble masonry, coursed or uncoursed complete all as specified

M&L Keyed pointing to random or polygonal rubble stone masonry, uncoursed or brought upto courses in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil for foundation complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation bed of manhole etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for formwork to sides of concrete foundations,fair finished surface footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter complete all as specified and directed.

M&L RCC, M30 design mix as in Foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc.; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L fair finished Formwork to sides of pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns and stanchions complete all as specified and directed.

M&L RCC, M-30 design mix as in Columns, pillars, piers, posts and struts complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for formwork to sides and soffits of floor or roof beams, beam haunchings, girders, bressummers, lintels, cantilevers, shelves including sup- ports, overhangs, etc. also splays between floors and beams, etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L RCC, M-30 design mix as in Beams, cantilevers, bressummers, lintels over 1.5m span complete all as specified and directed.

M&L TMT mild steel bar 10mm dia and over cut to length bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 16 above, but, 5mm dia and over upto and including 10mm dia in strirrups spaces and binders all as specified.

Material and labour for precast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks in PCC 1:3:6, type C-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate exceeding 10cm width and setting in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Cement concrete, 1:2:4 type B-1(20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in coping, mud stop, bed plates, plinth courses over and angle post etc. including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick/stone wall and ceiling including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick cement mortar in 1:4 on on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces fininished even and smooth (without using extra cement)all as specified and as directed.

Dismantiling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Joist, channel, angle, or tee sections, fixed independently, without connecting plates, etc. (cut to ordinary lengths i.e. within 20mm of the length indicated) coforming to Fe 410 -W (Gde E-250) Quality -A all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new steel or iron surface of any description over 10cm in width or girth,not otherwise described applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over and including a coat of read oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs for Galvanised 2 strand, steel barded wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straning bolts, incl, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins etc complete all as specified and directed. S&F for zinc coated Concertina coil (dia appox 610 mm) with core wire of thickness 2.60 mm having tensile strength not less than 1650 N/Sqmm and zinc coating 230 GSM and 0.5 mm thick cold rolled carbon strip having 50 numbers of spiral turns having zinc coating 120 GSM with 125 clips per coil of 1.6 mm thickness .The approximate weight of Concertina coil shall be 8.50 Kg per Running Metre and could be stretched to cover a distance of 6 to 7 running metres fixed at 3.00 m height wall on angle iron Y shaped which is placed 2.40 m to 3.0 m above the ground level complete all as specified and directed. Note- The measurments shall be recorded for the stretched length of Concertina coil.The contractor shall quote his rate accordingly. M & L for framed work such as grill, gratings, etc with ends of bars shouldered and /or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work corn-conforming to Fe.290. Gde -E-165, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new surface/undecorated surfaces of walls and applying two coats of Cement Base Paint of approved tint over and including a coat of priming on plastered and other surfaces with alkali resistant priming paint complete all as specified

M & L for preparation of old surfaces of walls and applying one coat of cement base paint on walls complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick each complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance n exc. 50 m and depositing where directed complete all as specified and directed..

Removing old building materials etc.to a distance n.exc. 5 km , beyond the lead included in the rates, including loading, unloading and stacking at the destination complete all as specified and directed.
