REPAIRS TO EPOXY FLOORING AND B/R RELATED WORKS IN HANGERS OF ARMY AVN SQN INCLUDING TECHNICAL AREAS IN AOR OF AGE B/R LEKHANAGAR UNDER GE NASIK ROAD

Epoxy Polyurethane Coating (EPU) Supplying and applying Electro Static Discharge (ESD) Ployurethane flooring System as per the following Specification and epoxy flooring should be done by manufacturer's authorised applicator:- (a) Surface preparation: preparing the existing surface of floor by using proper scarification eqpt and cleaning by wire brushing & blow etc, to remove all dirt, dust, oil etc to expose clean sound base concrete. Cost shall include any imperfections in the concrete shall be treated with suitable repair system as per manufacturer specification. Note:-(i) Material /Chemicals required for repairing crack, potholes and damaged areas shall be paid separately at supply only rates. (ii) Treatment of construction and expansion joints including filling as per manufacturer's specification and as directed, which shall be paid separately. (b) Primer: Supply and application of moisture insenstive solvent free epoxy bonding primer over the prepared surface (Floor/coving) in a thin continuous film and work the Primer into the surface using a stiff brush or roller. Apply second priming coat on identified light colored dry patches over first coat. (c) Base Coat/Scratch Coat : Supply and application of 1mm thick base layer with cementitious Polyurethane of self smoothing self levelling epoxy underlay spread evenly to maintain the thickness using a serrated trowel followed by spike roller, rolled over the levelled underlay to remove any entrapped air all as per manufacturer instructions and as specified.

(d) Anti Static grid : S&F copper earth strip of size 25mm wide and 80 micron thick, fixed over the floor area along the perimeter and internally with a grid size of min 3x3m and max 5m between strips. The surface shall be treated with aqueous anti static epoxy system, conductive under coat spread as specified and as manufacturer's instructions. The conductivity of the under coat shall be 2x10^3 ohms - 4x10^3 ohms. The entire system to be connected to earth pit and testing complete. (e) Epoxy Polyurethane Coating (EPU): Providing 3 mm thick epoxy polyurethene ESD flooring, having 28 days compressive strenght as per ASTM C 109 45 mPa, Flexural strenght will be 12 mPa as per BS 6319-3, Tensile strength will be 4 mPa as per BS 6319-7, having surface of earth resistance <1x160 Ohms. The fire resistivity of the material of class 2 as per BS 476-7. Make: Fosroc, Pidilite, Sika, Flow crete. Note: Epoxy flooring should be done with authorised applicator of manufacturer. While seeking approval, contractor should submit name of authorised applicator, failing which no approval will be given.

Supply only material /Chemicals required for repairing crack, potholes and damaged areas as per manufacturers speccfications.

Racking out existing construction joints/dummy joints 10mm wide x 25mm deep in concrete pavements, cleaning surfaces and sweeping to make the surface free from dust/dirt with air compressor/ blower and removing debris to distance exceeding 200m from edge of pavement for disposal in low laying areas

Racking out existing Expansion joints 20mm wide x 25mm deep in concrete pavements, cleaning surfaces and sweeping to make the surface free from dust/dirt with air compressor/blower and removing debris to distance exceeding 200m from edge of pavement for disposal in low laying areas.

M&L for nosing the damaged edges of the construction joints using epoxy mortar and make joints straight and smooth, filling the joints using flexible Elastomeric sealent of Polysulphide / polyurethene make including fixing of backer rod with straight edge finish all as specifide and as directed. Make: Fosroc, Pidilite, Sika, Flow crete

M&L for nosing the damaged edges of the expansion joints using epoxy mortar and make joints straight and smooth, filling the joints using flexible Elastomeric sealent of Polysulphide / polyurethene make including fixing of backer rod with straight edge finish all as specifide and as directed. M&L for gangway yellow line marking not exc 150 mm wide in in floors. Fixing of masking tapes on bith sides of line, cleaning the surface using solvents, mixing two components high build coating in two coats of 0.50mm (min) thickness each and removing masking tapes followed by neat finish as directed. Make: Fosroc, Pidilite, Sika, Flow crete

M&L for Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters and painting dispersal area etc. on roads, concrete pavements and like exc 10cm wide with two coat of water based paint, white or golden yellow including preparation of new or previously treated surfaces to receive the painting. (Painting shall stand out boldly and solidly without showing signs of brush marks or surface underneath. If necessary, the surface shall be repainted by one or more coats until the desired result is obtained)
