Construction of Combined operational offices for DGCA BCAS, AAIB, AERA and AAI at Safdarjung Airport. SH- Waterproofing work at Basement and associated works

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

Surfaces must be cleaned with compressed air/water jet grinding machine or soft / wire brushes. Surface shall be free from loose materials, oils, grease, form release agents and other contaminants etc. complete as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying crystalline mortar by mixing in the ratio of 4.5 : 1 (4.5 parts crystalline mortar : 1 part water) for the treatment of faulty construction joints, cracks, tie rod holes and spalled & honeycombed surface of RCC underground structures like basement, water tanks, bridge deck etc. to ensure water tightness. The crystallie mortar shall conform to the EN 1504- 3 having compressive strength Class R4 ≥45 MPa and adhesive bond strength Class R3 ≥1.5 MPa. The work shall be carried out all complete as per specification and the direction of the engineer-in-charge. The product performance shall carry guarantee for 10 years against any leakage. For sealing cracks and faulty construction joints, routed out/ making U-shape groove size 25x25 mm and then primed the area with integral crystalline slurry @0.05 kg/running metre and while the surface is tacky filled the groove upto surface with crystalline mortar @1.50 kg/running metre. Once crystalline mortar is touch dry then finally applied two coats of integral crystalline slurry @0.05 kg/running metre per coat.

Providing and fixing 10 to 12 mm dia. MS threaded nozzles for carrying out injection grouting to the RCC surface at honeycombs, voids, cracks, grooves etc. consisting of injection cement slurry grout admixed with Nonshrink grout as per approved manufacturers specification to full saturation using Grout pump etc. and further cutting and sealing of nozzles after the injection operation with Nonshrink grout etc. complete as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing 12 mm dia. Non Returning Valve (NRV) Packers by drill machine at Leakage/Seepage/ Cracks in RCC surface and further cutting and sealing of NRV Packers after the injection operation complete as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Injection Grouting (PU & Epoxy)

Providing and injecting Polyurethane Foam for water leaking areas as per approved manufacturers specification by Electric pump machine etc. at Leakage/Seepage in RCC surface complete as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and injecting Epoxy Grout for structural cracks as per approved manufacturers specification by Electric pump machine etc. at Cracks in RCC surface complete as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying integral crystalline slurry of hydrophilic in nature for waterproofing treatment to the RCC structures like retaining walls of the basement, water tanks, roof slabs, podiums, reservior, sewage & water treatment plant, tunnels / subway and bridge deck etc., prepared by mixing in the ratio of 5 : 2 (5 parts integral crystalline slurry : 2 parts water) for vertical surfaces and 3 : 1 (3 parts integral crystalline slurry : 1 part water) for horizontal surfaces and applying the same from negative (internal) side with the help of synthetic fiber brush. The material shall meet the requirements as specified in ACI-212-3R-2010 i.e by reducing permeability of concrete by more than 90% compared with control concrete as per DIN 1048 and resistant to 16 bar hydrostatic pressure on negative side. The crystalline slurry shall be capable of self-healing of cracks up to a width of 0.50 mm. The work shall be carried out all complete as per specification and the direction of the engineer-in-charge. The product performance shall carry guarantee for 10 years against any leakage. For vertical surface two coats @ 0.70 kg per sqm per coat

For patching of tie rod holes, prepared tie rod hole surface and then primed the area with integral crystalline slurry @0.070 kg/sqm and while the surface is tacky repair and then filled the tie rod holes with crystalline [email protected] per hole. The crystalline mortar should be tightly rodded into tie rod holes or packed tightly (For 25x25x25 mm tie rod hole, use 0.040 kg to fill the hole)

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.

Providing and installing waterproofing treatment for "Below Raft Stich Slab foundation" by using a Pre-applied Flexible 1.2mm thick fully bonded HDPE membrane of Sika/Fosroc/ Pidilite or equivalent approved make (prior approval from the E.I.C.). The fully bonded HDPE membrane shall consist of a thick white HDPE film, a highly aggressive pressure sensitive adhesive and weather resisting coating which bonds integrally to poured concrete of base slab. An intimate bond is formed to the poured in situ structural concrete by means of a pressure sensitive adhesive preventing lateral water and moisture migration between the membrane and structure. The HDPE sheets are overlapped to a minimum of 100 mm shall be Hot Air welded (Dual seam) using Liester machine. The fully bonded HDPE sheet waterproofing membrane shall have the properties such as Resist hydrostatic pressure of upto 60m head of water (as per ASTM D 5385), Puncture resistance of > 1000N (as per ASTM E154), Elongation of >500%, Tensile strength of > 25 N/mm², peel adhesion to concrete > 1500 N/m, Lap joint strength>15000 N/m (ASTM D 6392). All operation complete as per manufacturer specification and methodology with all the intricate details of termination at verticals, joints, corners etc. complete as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The work shall be carried out broadly outlined above and shall carry guarantee against leakage, Seepage, sweating and other defects for 05 (Five) years. Treated surface area shall only be measured for payment.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:1½:3 (1 Cement: 1½ coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Kota stone slab flooring over 20 mm (average) thick base laid over and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab, including rubbing and polishing complete with base of cement mortar 1 : 4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) 25 mm thick

Kota stone slabs 20 mm thick in risers of steps, skirting, dado and pillars laid on 12 mm (average) thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand) and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slabs, including rubbing and polishing complete.

Half brick masonry with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level. Cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement :3 coarse sand)

12 mm cement plaster of mix : 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand)

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting,bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level. Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-5000 or more.

Disposal of moorum/ building rubbish/ malba/ similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste material by mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground for lead upto 10 km for all lifts, complete as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. Note: item to be applicable in urban areas having directions for restricted hours for movement/ plying of load carrying motor vehicle of 3.5 cum or more.

Deduct for taking away of steel work in frames, shutters, trusses, channels, beams, Tee, angles, bolts, washers, TMT bars etc. and the like received from dismantling. The material so received shall be the property of contractor after dismantling duly weighed/measured before removing from the site in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge or his authorised representative all complete as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge..
