RENOVATION/REPAIR OF ORIENTAL MAKE SLUICE GATE NO 3 OF SIZE 2000 X 2000 MM INSTALLED AT TU BLOCK SPS AT PITAMPURA. The work will be executed below approx 15-20 feet deep sewage sump from ground level The work includes following jobs Isolation of flow around Sluice Gate using mechanical arrangement, gunny bags and sludge cutter Submersible Pumps to make the Chamber dry , using Heavy Labour and required safety measures i.e. safety Helmet, Gum Boot, Rope ladder and other safety arrangement required at site.

Making of temporary plate form in the sluice gate channel for loosening of all the slide guide blocks of upper portion of 2000x2000 mm Sluice gate prior to closing the channel, using manual labour and gas cutter and replacing and tightening again all the nut bolts of upper Dome to restore the normal water supply by taking all safety measures ensuring no leakage from packing between upper dome and lower body of sluice valve. The job includes removing of one bolt and simultaneously fixing and tightening of new bolt in that hole and so on.

Dismantling of Gate Operating Stand, Gear Box, Hand wheel , spindle, Frame , Slide, Wedges using Chain pulley Block, Lifting Jacks , heavy labour and long boom hydra crane etc.

Supply of Gear Box Housing of Cast Iron to IS 210 FG 200

Supply of Set of Bevel Gears of Alloy Steel EN8 , Gear Ratio 4:1

Supply of SS 304 Threaded Thrust Nut

Straightening and Repair of 60 mm dia x 8.2 M long SS 304 Threaded Stem

Repair of Wedges on Gate Slide

Supply of Stem Guide Brackets

Repair of 80 dia SS 304 Muff Coupling for Stem

Supply of SS hardwares & fasteners

Repair of 38 mm wide Leaded Tin Bronze Seating Faces for Frame and Slide

Re-fixing of sluice gate after rectification of its parts on working platform at the top of Sluice Gate of 2000x2000 mm size in main channel by using welding machine, gas cutter and mannual labour.

Installation, Testing & Commissioning of above parts of Sluice Gate using heavy labour and required logistic arrangement first on NO load and full load with the satisfaction of Engineer-in charge.
