Construction of embankement with approved material obtained from borrowpits with all lifts and leads transporting to site spreading grading to required slope and compacting with Static roller to meet requirement of Table 300-2 as per MORTH specification 305

Earthwork in excavation of foundation of structures of culverts,abntments piers, retaining walls etc. in all types of Strata comprising of any of the materials such as soil, silt, sand, clay, gravel, murrum of all varieties, shingles, pebbles, all types of conglomerates, laterite rock etc soft rock, ordinary rock or disintegrated rock, fissured shattered /decomposed rock or weathered rock all such other materials as described under Appendix 'A' to these specifications either in full or in parts as the case may be adopting mechanical means (hydraulic excavator) or any approved method or methods as the case may be convenient or permitted inclusive of blasting, chiseling and wedging etc. in all conditions such as dry, moist,saturated, submerged, foul condition etc. and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge all complete including dressing of sides ramming of bottom including all leads and lifts including getting out the excavated soil as directed barricading danger lighting guarding and the departmental officers as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out construction of shoring and bracing removal of stumps and other deleterious matte, dressing of sides and bottom, back filling the excavation earth to the extent required and utilising the remaining earth locally for road work upto 3.00 m depth as per MORTH Specification 304 EXCLUDING DEWATERING. Ordinary Soil Meachanical Means.

Rubble packing with hard laterite stone under floors including watering ramming and consolidating etc. in pipeline trenches and other foundations complete.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand: 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing :a)All works upto plinth level .

Centering & shuttering including Strutting, Propping & removal of forms for : i)Foundations, Footings, Bases for columns.

Centering & shuttering including Strutting, Propping & removal of forms for : ii)Suspended floors roofs landings shelves & their supports

Reinforced cement concrete work 1:1½:3 (1 cement: 1½ coarse sand: 3 granitic or basaltic stone aggreate 20mm nominal size excluding plastering and cost of centering, shuttering & reinforcement, in sloping or battering surface (slabs, beams, louvers, etc) Where inclination to the horizontal does not exceed 30°

Providing High yield strength steel reinforcement bar (HYSD)/TMT steel reinforcement bar from secondary producers (Confirming to IS 1786 of 1986) for RCC work including bending, binding & placing in position in all the floors along with the factory made precast concrete cover blocks of specified sizes whose compressive strength is not less than that of surrounding concrete in the structural member.

Providing and fixing weepholes with rigid PVC make laid in position with a required slope and level while layingpipes of approved the concrete of retaining wall,wing wall and earth retainig structure complete as directed by the Engineer in charge; B) 75 mm dia

Supplying of laterite stone soling of size 150-200 mm size and murrum having P.I. Value not more than 6 and laying including packing with smaller stones and consolidation with power road roller including spreading, watering and consolidation of binding material etc.(Measurements shall be considered on finished item) .
