Busbars shall be made of high conductivity, and high strength Aluminum E91 grade as per IS 5082-1981, of rectangular cross sections better suitable for full load current for phase bus bars and half/ full rated current for neutral bus bar or as per requirement . The busbars shall be supported on non-breakable, non-hygroscopic epoxy resin or glass fiber reinforced polymer insulated supports.The material and the spacing of the Busbar supports should be same as per the type tested assembly (TTA). All bus bars shall be provided in a separate chamber and all connections shall be done by bolting.
