Taking out old filter media such as gravel / sand of any size completely from filler bed chamber and stacked on clean surface where directed including cleaning the filters by scraping with hard steel wire brushes, descaling the surface and remove slit, sludges and other deposits from inner side and taking out from chamber manually and deposit the same outside installation, finally clean and wash the surface properly with bleaching mixed water complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L for preparing the old inner surface of filter and applying two coats of edible food grade paint over a coat of red oxide primer on entire inner surface of filter complete all as specified.

M&L for cleaning the filter media (Gravel and Sand) in hydro-chloric acid (HCL) and cleaning with fresh water to remove acid contents etc. complete all as specified.

M&L for re-filling of old gravels of various sizes in descending order in the filter beds, sizes varying from 02mm to 10 mm all as specified.

M&L for refilling old filter media (Sand) in the filter bed complete all as specified and directed

Supply and filling filter support media (gravels) in filter bed. Filter media shall be confirming to IS-8419 part-I 1977, all as specified and directed

M&L for cleaning of station swimming pool of size 50 M x 21 M with depth 1.5 M to 6 M, by scrapping the bottom surface, side walls & floor channels (inside and outside) with hard steel wire brush and emery paper including removal of dust, algae mud, slit and other foreign materials etc, cleaning overall surface with water and applying approved chemical washing @ 40 ml per Sqm and finally cleaning the surface with water complete all as specified and directed at site

S&F in repairs PVC Suction pipe (reinforced as per sample) 50 mm dia suitable for suction sweeper complete all as specified.

Surface dressing in hard/dense soil not exceeding 15 cm deep and clearing all the grass weeds etc in the sub station yards after removing stone aggregate aside all as directed at site including setting /spreading back the aggregate complete all as directed at site. Note: swimming pool area shall be kept clean throughout the contract period by repeatedly removing the grass / weeds as and when ordered by Engineer-in-charge depending on the growth of the grass.Measurement for this item shall be made at the end of completion period and paid accordingly

S&F in repairs heavy duty suction sweeper brush assembly box type of size 300mm x 600mm made out of 6 mm thick MS plate, consisting nylon wheels, rubber bladder around and nylon brush complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cleaning of swimming pool of size 50 M x 21 M with depth 1.5 M to 6 M including bottom and side walls by using suction sweeper fitted with nylon brush all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE : (a) Cleaning shall be carried out in alternative days or as and when ordered by Engineer-in-charge.

(b) Suction sweeper fitted with nylon brush shall be provided by the Deparment for cleaning. However spare such as leather/ rubber flaps, bolts, nuts, washeres etc as required during contract period shall be replaced by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt.

(c) Repairs to the suction sweeper including replacement of leather/ rubber flaps, bolts/nuts, washers etc shall be carried out by the contractor without any extra cost.

(d) Quoted rate shall inclusive for maintaining the diving plate form and cleaning the sides of the side walls of the swimming pool once in every month.

Supply and mix orthotolodine solution in 500 ml bottle all as directed/ specified.

M&L for water testing with and including supply of Chlorine testing kit with sample varying to .1 PPM to 4 PPM

M&L for Quarterly Maintenance, check up as specified here in after in notes and preparation of log book and periodic report of Fire hydrant pump House & Fire Hydrant , Sprinkler System along with servicing of complete system installed in pump Houseincluding components such as valves, pumps, air cushion tank, pressure switches, gauges, Panels etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Note : Componets spares as required during servicing shall be measured and paid separeately under relevant item as supply only.

Quarterly checking of Diesel Engine driven fire pump, Jockey pumps & Electrical driven main fire pump Including servicing and greasing , overhauling, tightening of nut, bolts and other spares as required shall be inclusive in the quoted rate. Consumable required for Diesel engine driven fire pump such as Diesel, coolant, lubricants and spares shall be measured and paid separately or provided by Department. Maintain and ensure for pump and Engine in proper working condition and ready for operation and including preparation of service report and maintaing log book.

Quarterly checking of Pre charged Air vessel including servicing, greasing, overhauling, tightening of nut bolts and other spares as required shall be inclusive in the quoted rate. Maintain and ensure for proper working condition and ready for operation and including. Preparing of service report and maintaining log book.

M&L for Quarterly Maintenance, check up as specified here-in after in notes and of log book and periodic report of Fire alarm system internal system along with servicing of complete system including components such as detectors, Panels, Manual call box, Hooters, etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

NOTE : Components/ spares as required for servicing shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item.

Checking of pressure gauge & level indicator and replacing faulty PG with isolation ball valve .

Quarterly checking hydrants, Sprinkler, piping including servicing greasing , overhauling, tightening of nut bolts and other spares, as required shall be inclusive in the quoted rate. Maintain and ensure for proper working condition and ready for operation and including preparing of service report and maintaining log book.
