Excavating in trenches n exc 1.5m wide and n exc 1.5m deep and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed

Returning, filling in soft/loose soil, including, spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials (soils) to a distance not exc 50.00 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 mtr above the starting point , complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and spreading dry sand of approved quality for cushioning of UG cable laid in trenches 8 cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cm thick after laying & streching the cable complete all as specified and directed. (NOTE : Only punned thickness of 18cm shall be measured and paid).

Supply and laying factory made un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type 1, flat of size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm complete all as specified and directed.

Laying only old serviceable PCC cable cover in trenches for under ground cable protection complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Old serviceable cover obtained vide item No 8 here in after shall be re-used)

M & L for factory made precast PCC cable route indicator of size 150 x 50 x 600 mm duly engraved with letter 'LT or HT' for Under Ground cable including necessary excavation and earthwork complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out / down existing unserviceable 11KV, HT UG cable from trenches/duct/ HT poles of any cross sectional area including disconnecting, including taking out PCC covers, GI Pipe etc. of any descriptions, segregation of serviceable materials viz PCC cable cover, GI Pipes, UG cables etc. and tracing the location of fault and keep in safe custody for re-use complete all as directed NOTE : (i) Earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under relevent items (ii) Serviceable cable covers, cables and GI pipes shall be kept aside for re-use

Laying only and jointing serviceable HT cable of size from 95 to 185 sqmm, 3 core, 11000 volts grade in existing location complete all as directed. Note: Serviceable HT cable obtained vide ser item No 8 above shall be re-used.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of electric power cable, heavy duty 11KV (E) grade, XLPE insulated, screened, bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured with aluminium conductor of cross sectional area of 185 sqmm, 3 core, laid in trenches/cable duct complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 10 above but of cross sectional area of 120 sqmm, 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for detecting carefully the fault location of HT UG cable of size 95 sq mm to 185 sq mm 3 core by either HT cable fault locator machine or any other method and taking out the/remove the faulty portion of cable from undergound over all length respectively including meggering /connecting/testing on completion all as directed by Engr-in charge. Note:-(i) Excavation & earth work shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item (ii) Straight throught joint for HT cable shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of this schedule (iii) Actual detected fault shall be paid under this item, Dummy located trail will not allowed or measured (iv) The work should be commenced within three hours after intimation to contractor through Whatsapp/SMS or telephonic interactions.

Calibration/servicing/overhauling & testing of 11 KV RMU Panel complete all as follows:- (a) Check & cleaning termination & bushing compartment. (b) Checking of sealing of gland plate area. (c) Checking of mechanical interlocks. (d) Check close & trip coil condition and Gap setting. (e) Checking of control circuit, Electrical interlocks. (f) Test insulation resistance (Megger) - using 5KV Megger. Note:- (1) Items required during overhauling/maintenance of 11 KV RMU will be measured and paid seperately under respective items. (2) Painting to all enclosures shall be done with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and rate for the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (3) RMU maintenance should be carried out through approved service associates of Schneider/Areva/Siemens as approved by GE.

M&L for filling the Power Transformer (33/11KV, 2 MVA ), Distribution Transformer (11/0.4KV, 500, 315, 200, 150. 100 KVA or any type of capacity) with new transformer oil [conforms to IS 335 :1993] after following the undermentioned process including necessary filtration & dehydration and fill upto the required level and storing the used oil in empty barrel for re-using it, all as specified and directed. Make - Gulf/ APAR/ IOCL/ BPCL Note: (i) Any other works reqd for replacement of transformer oil is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (a) Shut down power to the transformer and ground all of the metal equipment that will be involved in changing the transformer oil. However all safety precautions as per OEM recommendations must be followed. (b) Test the transformer insulation & if everything is normal as per OEM recommendations then drain the transformer oil. Once the oil is dra ined, proceed with flushing out the inside of the transformer. The objective is to get as much of the old oil out as possible. (c) Replace the transformer drain plug and refill the unit with fire retardant oil, wait four to five hours and then re-test the transformer insulation and after the second insulation test, allow the unit to sit overnight. (d) Check for leaks the next morning. If no leaks are detected, energize the unit with out a load. Let it sit energized for at least three hours and then add the load. Recheck the unit the next day looking for leaks, pressure and temperature deviations. (e) If any type of leaks of transformer detected, rectify the defects and follow the process as mentioned in sl no 1 (d).

M&L for replacement of silicagel for breather of transformer of any type and capacity incl replacement of oil seal (as reqd) incl. taking down old one all as specified and directed. Make- As per sample kept at GE's Office

M&L for reconditioning the existing transformer oil of Distribution Transformer (11/ 0.4KV) through filter centrifuges as per IS 1966: 2000, Para 13 complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) After reconditioning the Transformer oil the contractor should submit test reports of minimum one No of sample from any GOVT recognised lab of following parameters (a) Break Down Voltage (b) Flash Point (c) Inter facial Tension (d) Precipitable Sludge (e) Sediments and sludge (f) Water Content (g) Neutralization Value (Total Acidity) (h) Resistivity and (j) Di-electric Dissipation Factor (Tan Delta)

M&L for onsite servicing, testing & commissioning of Vacuum Circuit Breaker 11KV, Make CG/ Areva/ Schneider by undermentioned process :- a) Cleaning of Vacuum Circuit Breaker with electrical contact cleaner like CRC 2-26 or equivalent. b) Checking the contact grease and re-greasing the same with recommended grease c) Check the condition of SIC contacts d) Checking condition and alignment of jaw contact. e) Checking and proper tightening of hardware (as reqd) f) Checking proper closing of all pole togethers g) Checking of CT & PT h) Busbar cleaning & re-insulating with sleeves, checking electrical circuit and Relay setting j) Checking of breaker tripping through push button k) Checking & resetting others electrical and mechanical mechanism l) Testing of Panel e.g. CRM, IRM, Relay test with current injection, relay time test & other operational test etc. m) Replacement of existing neoprene rubber gasket of the enclosure with new one with existing type & size n) Repainting of the enclosure with inner surface (as required) as per existing shade incl treating the old painted surfaces complete. Note:- (i)Any control circuit connections, replacement of control cable or replacement of fuses /fuse bases are reqd during maintenance are deemed to be included in this rate. ii) During maintenance of VCBs any undermentioned spares as reqd at site shall be measured and paid separately

Note:- If any additives (such as Belzona Paste) are required to prevent leakage during replacement of rubberised cork sheet may be used as per OEM's recommendations.

M&L for replacement of rubberised cork sheet of 8 to 10 mm thick on the top of the transformer body of 11/0.4 KV, 100-500 KVA transformer (Make-ITE/ CG/ ABB/ Eastern/ Others ) as per OEM recommendations complete all as specified and directed. Note: Note:- If any additives (such as Belzona Paste) are reqd to prevent leakage during replacement of rubberised cork sheet may be used as per OEM's recommendations.
