Repair and Maint of LT overhead lines and its connected works at Faridkot Mil Stn

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil, n. exc 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation, laying of underground cable etc or n. exc 10 Sqm on plan and n. exc 1.5 m in depth for foundations of poles, struts, stays etc.& getting out including trimming the sides and forming bottom surfaces to required level complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated surplus (soils) to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for sand cushioning with a layer of dry river sand, 80mm thick before laying of cable and 150mm thick (punned down to 100mm thick) after laying of cables, in trenches/ducts, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Punned down thickness (overall 18cm) shall be considered for measurement and payment.

M&L for brick protection with old size sub class 'B' bricks, laid flat , length of bricks across the route of underground cable complete all as specified and directed .

All as per Ser item No 05 here-in-before but except bricks.

Material & labour, for cutting existing road for taking out/laying of underground cable through GI pipe of dia 40mm/80mm including necessary earth work and making good to match with the existing surface with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates) complete all as specified and directed

Supply and laying / fixing , GI pipe, light grade, 40mm dia bore for cable protection fixed to pole/wall with MS clamps, nuts, bolts etc or laid under floor/road/pavement, including taking out old unserviceable pipe complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and laying / fixing , GI pipe, light grade, 80mm dia bore for cable protection fixed to pole/wall with MS clamps, nuts, bolts etc or laid under floor/road/pavement, including taking out old unserviceable pipe complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

Disconnecting & taking out defective under ground cable of any size from trenches, pole, pipe, floor, wall etc and depositing the same in MT yard of AGE E/M complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of Low Tension (LT) XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty, electric power cable, cross sectional area 10 Sqmm, 4 core, aluminum conductor, 1100 volts grade under ground cable including both side connection with lugs/thimbles of suitable size etc, laid in trenches, along poles or passing through pipes or laid under floor or through walls etc, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) Returning filling, earth work, sand cushioning and brick cover for protection of cable shall be measured and paid separately.

Disconnecting, dismantling and taking down carefully ACSR conductor of any size from poles of LT/HT complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR), stretched on HT/LT poles without any kink and bends, of various sizes complete including fixing to insulator with aluminium binding wire and coloured sleeved jumper connection with PG clamps including cutting of tree branches falling on the site of work complete all as specified and directed . Note: The size of conductor shall be as directed by Engr-in- Charge.

S&F in replacement shackle type,vitreous, porcelain white, brown or green insulator for working pressure 1100 volts,height 75 mm and dia 90 mm including galvanized mild steel straps of 31mm x 3mm size,12mm dia insulator bolts, washers and nuts complete all as specified and directed

S&F in replacement pin type,porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator of 100mm height, 65 mm dia, suitable for 1100 volt grade including one galvanized mild steel spindle, two GI washers and one GI nut complete all as specified and directed

Dismantling and taking down old cross arms, clamps, braces, brackets of MS channel or angle section including nut bolts washers etc from poles all as specified and directed. Note : Cost of cutting of bolts (slag bolts) if reqd shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item.

S&F Cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates, fabricated from structural steel section Fe-290 grade E-165 quality including nuts, bolts, washers, and welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as directed including two coats of alminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Re- streching, of existing sagged/broken earth wire and over head ACSR conductor, any size upto 5 conductors in one span of HT/LT over head line to maintain proper sag and binding with the existing insulators with new binding wire complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Linear length centre to centre of the pole shall only be measured. (ii) 4/5 Lines of ACSR Conductor shall be considered as one span for measurement .

Cutting/ trimming of tree branches not exc 30cm girth,sapling,shrubs etc touching/approaching the LT/HT overhead lines upto 3 metre width on each side with hacksaw/axe to clear the LT/HT line including disposal of trimmed branches 100 Metre away inside the cantonment area & clearing site complete all as specified and directed

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6.00mm thick, buried directly in ground vertically (depth of pit not less than 2.25m below normal ground level), with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded by 15cm thick and packed alternate layers of charcoal dust and common salt, connected with and including earth lead of GI wire 4mm dia (8SWG) by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or thimbles and other end of the earth wire connected to electrical equipment/GOD/LA and protected by galvanized iron pipe light grade 15mm dia bore including watering pipe 20mm dia bore GI medium grade (ISI marked) with funnel and wire mesh, including all necessary excavation and earth work, PCC chamber in plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 and pit cover of precast RCC with MS frame etc and all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part-I (2009), complete all as specified and directed. Note(s):- (i) RCC pit cover shall be pre-cast of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1, 80mm thick reinforced with TMT bar 8mm dia both ways @100c/c. (ii) PCC chamber shall be constructed 500 mm away from the edge of earth pit. (iii) Rate shall include earth lead and protection pipe of length 7.5m, excess beyond 7.5m length required at site shall be measured and paid separately. (iv) Earth resistance should be less than 3Ohm. In case the test results are not found below 3Ohm, complete earthing will be redone without any extra cost to Govt. (v) Quoted lump sum / rate shall be inclusive of above all provisions.

S&F in replacement pre-stressed cement concrete pole, 9 metre long of cross section 102mm x 172mm at top and 102mm x 279mm at bottom, class 10, complying with requirements of IS-1678-1998, errecting truly in vertical position including painting of poles with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer in alternate strip of 30cm each in black and white colour upto 1.5 metre height from top of PCC pedestal/coping of poles and numbering of poles with synthetic enamel paint black in 80mm high letters over 150mm x 230mm yellow base made from synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed

M&L for Stay assembly comprising of 7/8 SWG galvanised stay strand complete with GI stay rod 16mm dia ,mild steel stay plate, stay bow,connecting bracket of suitable mild steel flat , nuts, bolts, washers,loop type insulators etc complete all as specified in electrical plate No I of SSR-2009 (Part- I) complete all as specified and directed.. Note:- Excavation and earth work , PCC shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BoQ’.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in foundation,filling & mass concrete complete all as specified and directed

Surface dressing not exc 15cm deep in soft/ loose soil including cleaning of E/M installations premises, uprooting of tiny trees, tree cutting, cleaning, levelling, spreading bushes, beeds, grass, removing poly bags, brick bats, stone pebbles debries, cleaning of sub station bldg, two pole/ four pole structure area, HT line etc and removing to a distance not exc 50 Mtr complete all as specified and directed

M&L for painting on steel tubular poles 9 metre long including attachments (cross arms, clamps GI pipes etc) complete with one coat of aluminium paint after preparation of steel surfaces and black & white strips 30cm each upto 1.5 metre height from top of PCC coping/ foundation block including writing/ numbering of poles with synthetic enamel paint (white) in 80mm high letters over 150mmx230mm yellow base complete all as specified and directed

M&L for cutting LT cable armoured ends, burn out old lugs, any size and specification, preparing ends for connecting cable end aluminium tube terminals / lugs & dressing, crimping of 25 Sqmm to 35 Sqmm with MS nut bolts and washers of suitable size complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Ser item No 41 here-in-before but of Size 50 Sqmm to 70 Sqmm
