Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (hydraulic excavator) in trenches for foundations, drains, pipes, cables etc. (not exceeding 1.5 m in width) and for shafts, wells, cesspits and the like not exceeding 10 sqm on plan, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out excavated earth and disposal of surplus excavated earth as directed, within a lead of 50 metres: All kinds of soil :

Providing, Laying and fitting of G.I. Pipes complete including cost of standard quality B grade pipes, white lead, hemp, oil etc. but excluding cost of earth work. This item also includes all types of pipe specials and carriage, required for successful commissioning of pipe lines.

i. 40mm dia. G.I. pipes

ii. 20mm dia. G.I. pipes

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.

Providing and fixing of regulatory valves / Air Valve of standard make like Kirloskar / VAG including nuts, bolts, welding (if required) washers etc. Complete. This item also includes dismantling of old valves and rating of the valve to Divisional Store (Complete Job).

i. 200mm dia Air Valve / Regulatory Valve.

ii. 150mm dia Air Valve / Regulatory Valve.

Structural steel work in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete (Welded).

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade including curing but excluding the cost of centring and shuttering. All work upto plinth level with: i. 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Providing connections from DI Pipe including cutting of pipe / welding of socket of required size including cost of socket / viz connection clips / bends out of 8mm thick plate as per requirement at site. This also includes cost of spun yarn and lead caulking, lead beating with insertion of spun yarn etc. The fittings should be leak proof and should be painted with anticorrosive red oxide primer and bituminous paint and including all types of carriages lead and lifts and cutting of pipes complete job.

Making connection of G.I. distribution branch with G.I. main of following sizes by providing and fixing Tee, including cutting and threading the pipe etc. complete i. 25 to 40 mm nominal bore.

Carriage of material from different sources to actual site of work by mechanical transport.

i. Cement for an avg. lead 5Kms.

ii. Sand for an avg. lead 12Kms

iii. 20mm aggregate for an avg. lead 6Km.
