Material & Labour for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth lead wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical Plate No 3 of MES SSR-2009 Part-I connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth wire protected by 15mm dia light grade GI pipe and watering pipe shall be 20mm bore light grade including all excavation and earth work in any type of soil, PCC pit with pre-cast RCC cover with handle of 8 mm dia bar, charcoal/salt, funnel with wire mesh etc complete all as specified and directed. DG SET NOTE:- For items of DG Set notes given at the beginning of Sch ‘A’ Part-V (DG Set) shall also be applicable.

Supply, installation testing and commissioning of OEM manufactured, static silent (sound proof enclosure), Disel engine driven generating set capable of delivering 82.5 KVA (in case of non availablity next higher capacity shall be provided witjout any price adjustment), water cooled, 415 volts (AC, 3 phase, 4 wire system of supply) 50 Hz at power factor 0.8 minimum. The DG set shall consists of diesel engine coupled to a matching alternator through flexible coupling and mounted on common base frame with control panel standardised by manufacturer, fuel tank with mounting arrangements and inlet outlet return inlet oil arrangemnet, exhaust pipe complete and suitable for conditions prevelant at site location, (the capacity of engine & alternator shall be worked out taking all derating factors into consideration of the location of site) including PCC foundation of suitable size (leaving atleast 0.5m all round space for easy of movement and 0.5m height) anti vibration pads, including emission control devices to make it compliant of emission limits as brought out in the GSR issued by Min. of Enviornment and all features with latest CPCB guidelines and comprising of following complete all as specified and directed:-

Item No. 5.01 (Contd/-) (i) ENGINE (Prime Mover ) : Diesel Engine 1500 RPM, direct injection six cylinders, type four stroke, confirming to ISO 3046 /BS 5514, water cooled, naturally turbo charged, capable of giving adequate BHP to drive alternator capable of delivering 82.5 KVA at outdoor atmospheric conditions of site location, (taking all derating factor into consideration), 12/24 Volt (as per manufacturer recommendations) electric battery start, complete with fly wheel all standard with fittings/fixtures as per manufacturer and including suitable panel with tachometer, lub temperature, pressure guage and frequency meters and also including self starter system, dynamo, fuel electric control panel with electronic governor (ECPG) and engine protection system (shut down, High water temperature, low lub oil, oil pressure, over speed etc) fuel tank and first fill of lub oil and other consumables etc.

Item No. 5.01 (Contd/-) (ii) ALTERNATOR : Brushless AC alternator, 3 phase, 415 volt , 4 wire, rated for suitable output to drive the engine, Minimum power factor 0.8, 1500 RPM, IP 23 protection class enclosure, insulation class “H” salient pole, revolving field single bearing automatic voltage regulator coupled through flexible coupling with and to match the above engine. Note: Alternator Capacity shall be calculated as per ambient temperature of the site location. (iii) BASE PLATE :- Made out of structural steel as per manufactures recommended design/ specifications. (iv) IN BUILT AMF CONTROL PANAL : Factory made, cubical type, in-built AMF panel borad, indoor type made out of MS angle not less than 25 x 25 x 5 mm and 2 mm thick MS CRCA sheet, front opening type, protection class IP-54, duly powder coated after seven tank process, with electrolytic grade copper bus bar of 200 Amps capacity for four poles, with all standard switchgear and protection, internal wiring of adequate size PVC insulated multistranded copper conductor cable etc and also consisting of following :- (a) MCCB, 200 Amp, 415 Volts rating, 4 pole, 35 kA rupturing capacity, specially fixed for incoming supply with over load relay, short circuit and fault protection – 01 No with suitable rating HRC back up fuses. (c) Change over switchof bus bar capacity 200 Amp, 440 volt, 50 Hz including all copper lugs, nut, bolt and connected accessories - 03 Nos (v) ACCOUSTIC ENCLOSURE : Sheet metal fabricated cope type, silent enclosure, manufactured on CNC machines as per CPCB norms and powder coated after seven tank process; the enclosure shall be designed for reducing the sound level to 75 DB (A) at a distance of 1 M at 75% load under field condition and OX, 70 DB at 3 M from Gen set when DG set is working at full load alongwith testing conformance, lebelling certification etc as laid down in GSR No. 371 (E) dt 17 May 2002. (vi) Foundation / Plinth / Base : shall be provided as per manufacturers recommendations with atleast 0.5m all round space for easy of movement and 0.5m height (minimum). (vii) Diesel storage tank : shall be as per manufacturers specifications. (viii) MISC: Toolkit, operation & maintenance catalogue, spare part list, overhauling manuals, gurantee card, etc shall be provided as per manufacturers standard practices without any extra cost to the department.
