S&F,in repair,Medium grade GI pipe of 20 mm dia for fixing air termination rod, the pipe shall be suitably tapered for fixing the saddle insulator at an interval not exceeding 0.5 meter, the pipe should be laid vertically and should be properly supported, length of each vertically pipe should not exceed 3 RM, the air termination rod, down conductors should be insulated from the pipe all as directed.

M & L for Earthing ,in repair,complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6mm thick burried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level with top edge of the plate vertically to a depth of not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level connection to and including PCC chamber using 1:3:6 type C2 for earthing pit, 4mm dia (8 SWG) GI earth wire from earth plate to main switch board including necessary GI bolts, nuts, check nuts, washers, thimble etc to the extend 7.5 mtr as earth lead by means of GI bolts & nuts etc, connecting to LT panel wlith provision of charcoal and salt all as per electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I including water arrangement with GI pipe 20mm dia (medium grade) excavation and earth work returning , filling, ramming and remove of soil to a distance not exc 50 mtr, make good to match with existing surface and testing on completion.Note:1.After completion if test results are nor satisfied, earthing should be redone by contractor without any extra cost. 2. Contractor should quote the rate deemed to be included with testing. 3.Earth resistance of earth pit should be less than 2 Ohms.

Supply, installation, testing of CPRI tested maintenance free earthing system a set of Copper Bonded Earth Rod of 3 meter length, 17.2 mm dia made of high tensile low carbon steel circular rods, molecularly bonded with 99.9% electrolytic grade copper on outer surface (minimum copper bonding thickness-250 microns) with exothermically jointed copper bus bar of 150x25x5mm for long lasting and connection.
