Earth work in cutting or in Filling in ordinary soil, (non abadi part) excavation to be in the form of regular pits not exceeding 1/2 metre (20") in depth and earthwork in embankment to be in 20 cm(8") layers, including ramming & dressing the surface to required levels and slopes and also including 1.5 metre (5fts) lifts and 30 m. (100") lead, Ther earth from cutting to be used in making filling or to be deposited as spoll banks within 30 metres (100 fts) distance as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Schedule Item no. 253

Brick edging on both sides of the road of first class brick 8 cm (3") wide and 12 cm 4.5" deep laid with mud mortar including labour and supply of bricks finished to required template and proper alignment also including dressing and ramming the excavated earth as directed by engineer in charge .

Construction of Granular sub base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface mixing by mix in place method with 2% Cement with rotavator at OMC and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achive the desired density complete as per clause 401.

Providing , laying, spreading material on a prepared sub grade adding cement @ 4% by weight of the spread material manually mixing in place with rotavator and compacting with the road roller at OMC to achive the desired unconfined strength and to form a layer of sub base.

Low porosity providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including cleanin of road surface and spraying primer @ 0.70 kg./sqm using mechanical means as per MORD technical specification clause 502

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 using bitumen distributor @ 0.30 kg / sqm on the prepared dry and hungry bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per MORT&H technical specification clause 503

Providing and laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by Seal coat of Type C as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 508.

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grede and cross fall using Type C as per Technical Specification MORD sepecification no. Clause 510. as per Data Book item No. 5.12 (B) Case - III TypeC

Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Campound with Rflectorising Glass Beads on Butminous Surface. Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC-35-2015 The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes. (As per LKO SOR SI No-2, P-54)
