Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. : 25 mm average thickness

Providing, mixing and applying bonding coat of approved adhesive on chipped portion of RCC as per specifications and direction of Engineer-In-charge complete in all respect. SBR Polymer (@10% of cement weight) modified cementitious bond coat @ 2.2 kg cement per sqm of surface area mixed with specified proportion of approved polymer.

Providing, mixing and applying SBR polymer (of approved make) modified Cement mortar in proportion of 1:4 (1 cement: 4 graded coarse sand with polymer minimum 2% by wt. of cement used) as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. Note: Measurement and payment: The pre-measurement of thickness shall be done just after the surface preparation is completed and Payment under this item shall be made only after proper wet curing has been done and surface has been satisfactorily evaluated by sounding / tapping with a blunt metal instrument and/or the 75 mm size cube crushing strength at the end of 28 days to be not less than 30 N/Sqmm2). : 25 mm average thickness in 2 layers.

Repair to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sqm and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing plastering the wall surface with white cement based polymer modified self curing mortar, including disposal of rubbish, all complete as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and injecting approved grout in proportion recommended by the manufacturer into cracks/honey-comb area of concrete/masonry by suitable gun/pump at required pressure including cutting of nipples after curing etc. complete as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (The payment shall be made on the basis of actual weight of approved grout injected.): Stirrer mixed SBR Polymer (of approved make) modified Cement slurry made with Shrinkage Compensating Cement in concrete/RCC work.

Providing and inserting 12 mm dia galvanised steel injection nipple in honey comb area and along crack line including drilling of holes of required diametre (20 mm to 30 mm) up to depth from 30 mm to 80 mm at required spacing and making the hole & crack dust free by blowing compressed air,sealing the distance between injection nipple with adhesive chemical of approved make and allow it to cure complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Applying priming coats with primer of approved brand and manufacture,having low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content with water thinnable cement primer on wall surface having VOC content less than 50 grams/litre

Priming with ready mixed red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel galvanised iron/ steel works

Finishing walls with Premium Acrylic Smooth exterior paint (Asian apex ultima , premium acrylic emulsion paint of Delux or equivalent of approved make ) with Silicone additives of required shade: Old work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 ltr/ 10 sqm) over existing cement paint surface

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade One or more coats on old work etc. completed as directed .

Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 gram/ litre, of approved brand and manufacturer including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour : Two coats etc, completed as directed

Provide and repair cracks on roof & walls vertical & horizonal surface with Sunanda poyfill AR Elastomeric Acrylic crack filler sealent followed over fiber mesh tape (4inch wide) & Krishna Chem Monopol 456 (white/clear) three coats . The operation shall be carried out after scrapping, braking weak concrete chipping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes, complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineerin-in-Charge.

P/F double bamboo scaffolding at above 1.5 mtr c/c both horizontal & vertical in bays along with bracers at suitable spacing and alignment with good quality bamboo poles (50-75 mm diameter) and no cracks. The scaffold should be erected on a firm base, and vertical members should be spaced not more than 1 meter apart. Proper overlaps and cross-bracing, secured with good quality coir ropes, are essential for safety. The entire external surface of the scaffold should be covered with Hessian cloth curtains, and windows/grills should not be pierced for supports.(size of one bay of scaffold is 3 m width x 30 meter length x 7.2 meter ht = 648 Cub. meter ). About 6.0 nos of such bays are required . This scaffolding is proposed to be utilised / erected at the conjusted space in between the machineries at Central workshop , where movable scaffolding could not be operated / posible.

Hire charges for deployment of Movable H frame scaffolding upto 10 to 12 mtr.( horizontal and vertical movable/adjustable H frame scaffold with wheeled and locking arrangment system scaffolding) for execution of painting works. (The rate of scaffolding item will be inclusive of labors and materials / hire charges of scaffolding frame / arrangement throghout the project duration).This scaffolding is proposed to be utilised in between the obstaclefree open space , available at Central workshop.
