Cleaning of oht capacity (2.5-5) lac ltr CLEANING OF OHT OF CAPACITY 2.5 LAKH LTR TO 5 LAKH LTR Cleaning of over head water storage tank including chemical treatment using antibacterial agent as per CPHEEO guidelines and relevant is code consisting of following process dewatering of tank by submersible pump de-silting and removing of rest over dirty water up to 100-150 mm in bottom of over head tank and sludge with specials sludge removing pump ,cleaning of walls and ceiling with high pressure jet machine by rotary jet system at 120 kg/sqrcm pressure which dislodge the layer of dirt, algee ,fungus stuck on the surface of tank remaining sludge should than be removed by sludge pumps ,the dirt silt and other material than should be removed by industrial vaccume cleaner to make the surface totally dirt free ,application /spraying of anti bacterial chemical to ensure total sterilization of tank from inside , inside of tank should be further treated with ultraviolet radiator using UV LAMP, complete job work in order to make tank totally clean and bacteria free and safe for storage of drinking water all the above operations should be executed by trained workers and technicians properly dressed with gum boots ,to work as per direction of engg. in-charge all safety measures should be taken in considerations during complete process DVD’S for each tank during cleaning process will be made and submitted after completion of work ,sludge from tank will be tested for chemical and biological test and test reports will be submitted by contractor and date of cleaning along with further date of cleaning is to be painted on two different places near OHT as per direction of engg. in- charge.
