Manning and Operation of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP-I) installed at Arga Sailor's accommodation round the clock in 03 (three) shifts of 8 hours each on all days including Sundays and holidays including routine preventive maintenance / checks complete all as per the maintenance schedule given in operation & maintenance manual for STP including supply & use of consumeable like grease, cotton waste etc and attending for breakdown, minor maintenance, use of chemicals for STP & SLPH I & II plants all as specified and directed. The installation comprises of complete equipments of STP-01, SLPH-01 & 02

NOTES for item No. 1.00 (a) Contractor has to employ minimum following staff for Manning and operation of the STP plant including SLPH per shift of 8 hours each:- (aa) One No skilled operator having minimum ITI qualification in Electrician / Mechanic trade from Govt recognized institute with minimum 2 years experience in Maintenance & Operation of Effluent Treatment Plant / sewage treatment plant / water supply installation / DG set installation in each shift of 8 hrs (Total -03 Shifts per day) The operator must be competent to carry out the routine maintenance of ETP and replacement of fast moving spares including maintenance of electrical panal board. (ab) One No helper minimum 10th pass with adequate experience in each shift of 8 hrs (Total -03 Shifts per day) (b) The rate is deemed to be inclusive of maintaining necessary records and documents for operation and maint of plant specified.Contractor will maintain proper records of all kinds of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly, yearly or whatsoever maintenance is carried out during contract period as per format issued by Engr-in-Charge in a binded book/register and will obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge every fortnightly.

(c) The rate quoted deemed to include for daily routine maintenance like checking and rectification of loose connection, attending minor leakages,mixing of the chemiclas cleaning and general upkeep of plant room, removal of weed and vegetation in the complex. The contractor will ensure general area cleanliness and upkeep of the installation on daily basis. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 2000/- per installation per month will be levied and recovered from dues. (d) The Contractor shall not employ same tradesman continuously for more than 11 months. (e) The contractor shall provide 02 uniforms to each operator & helper and design of uniform shall be got approved from Engineer-in-charge. In case contractor fails to provide the uniform, recovery @ of Rs 1200/- per uniform will be recovered. (f) The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of safety gear & required tools for minor maintenance. In case of failure to provide tools kit & safety kit (Gum boots- 02 pairs, hand gloves), a penalty of Rs 3000/- will be recovered and levied on the contractor for non compliance. (g) Stores required for maintaining the services shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule. (h) In case of failure due to absence of operative staff, the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation at twice the cost of a day’s Manning & Operation derived from pro rata rate of Sch ‘A’ quoted rates

(j) The operator must be well conversant with functioning of the plant and shall be ompetent enough to routine maintenance of the installation incl main electric panel. (k) Chlorine kit shall be provided by the contractor for testing to the level of chlorine at site (l) The record of lab testing of waste / treated water samples will also be maintained in similar way and the cost of same is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. (m) The contractor shall pay the wages to the Skilled operator through e payment i.e Aadhar linked bank accounts(Credit to their bank account). Engr-in-Charge shall ensure that e-payment made to Skilled operator and their wages shall not be less than minimum wages fixed by state Govt or central Govt whichever is more. Monthly e-banking statement shall be furnished by the contractor to the Engineer-in-Charge and the same shall be kept in record duly verified. (n) It is the responsibility of contractor to deposit the employees provident fund (EPF) to the concerned authority as per the prevailing scales as laid down by the Ministry of labour for all Electrician/ operator/ helper (as applicable) and necessay proof to this regard shall be submitted to Engr-in-charge for verification and records. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be included of above provisions. In case contractor fails to produce the proof of EPF, shall be liable for action as deemed fit. Decision of GE in this regard shall be final and binding. (o) The contracotr shall maintain all the registers under various labour law rules, 2017 and shall be produced to GE and as well as officers detailed by labour department.

Supply only sodium hypochlorite (Liquid chlorine) first quality, in sealed HDPE container of 10% concentration of standard capacity all as specified and directed. NOTE : Necessary chemicals and testing kit (residual chlorine & PH) for testing of water samples at lab shall be provided by the Contractor and cost of the same shall be deemed to included in the unit rate quoted.

Testing of Sewage treated water sample collected from STP-I/IV overflow of settling tank for testing(Chemical Analysys of COD, BOD, SS, PH, O&G, DS, RSC, CI, SO4 and suspended solid) from KSPCB lab by standard procedure including cost of packing material for Sewage samples complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repairs bearing No 6308 2Z suitable for aeration feed pump all as specified and as directed. MAKE : SKF/TATA /NBC

Supply and fix in repairs bearing No 6208 2Z suitable for aeration feed pump all as specified and as directed. MAKE : SKF/TATA/NBC

M & L for cleaning including preparation of old steel surface exceeding 10 cm width or girth and painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint on machineries/equipments/filters/motors /pumps/compressors/ ladders/ walkovers/ pipelines/ cable trays/switch boards, panels and any other parts connected to STP/ SLPH with paint of approved colour using spray gun complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cleaning including preparation of tanks/ separaters and any other parts connected to STP applying one coat of bituminous black paint all as specified and directed. NOTE: The rate quoted is deemed to include for emptying and preparation the surface of tanks and other parts of painting.

M & L for cleaning of primary settling tank at Arga by pumping out raw sewage, removing the sludge settled at the bottom, cleaning thoroughly with wire brush, finally cleaning with dilute solution of sodium hypochlorite & fresh water including writing letters on the tank with synthetic enamel paint as "TANK CLEANED ON ------(DATE) AND DUE ON ---DATE with 10cm high stencil cut English letter all as specified and directed.

M & L for taking out the sewage submersable pump of 40 HP/30 KW of capacity 200 cum per hour make kishor pumps pvt ltd from SLPH-2 at Arga including cutting/removing the existing burnt winding and rewinding the same using super enameled copper wire of suitable gauge to match with the existing winding including replacing sleeves, cotton taps etc, varnishing the winding by keeping in hot oven for drying to attain required resistance & replacing ball bearing, re-assembling the motor and refixing the same in original position, testing etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for taking out the sewage submersible pump of 20 HP/15 KW of capacity 100 cum per hour make kishor pumps pvt ltd from SLPH-1 at arga including cutting/removing the existing burnt winding and rewinding the same using super enameled copper wire of suitable gauge to match with the existing winding including replacing sleeves, cotton taps etc, varnishing the winding by keeping in hot oven for drying to attain required resistance & replacing ball bearing, re-assembling the motor and refixing the same in original position, testing etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for taking out submersible pump having capacity 2 HP and re-installation the same after rewinding with super enameled copper wire of existing size including all necessary works complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for taking out Sludge Transfer Pump having capacity 0.5 HP from STP and re-installation the same after rewinding with super enameled copper wire of existing size including all necessary works complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for taking out Rotating disc motor having capacity 5 HP from STP for rewinding and re-installation the same after rewinding with super enameled copper wire of existing size including all necessary works complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for repair / overhauling to belt driven air compressor of make - Elgi Equipments Limited , working pressure 10kg/cm2 with 1.5 HP motor by removing cylinder and piston, piston liners including replacements of all required parts like rings and washers, bearings and suction and discharge valves etc for proper functioning and re-assembling and installation and testing after repair/overhauling including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint after cleaning/preparation of surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for opening of sand media filter gate of STP-1 of size 1.2 meter dia 1.5 meter height after closing all inlet and outlet valves and removing old dirty sand media with old nut & bolt/gasket/washer from filter chamber and cleaning complete chamber, drying, preparation of surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint using spray gun and filling of new sand media as per standard procedure, fixing new old nut & bolt/gasket/washer etc complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :Filter media required shall be measured and paid as "Supply only"
