REPAIR/REPLACEMENT AND CLEANING OF SEWAGE SYSTEM IN MD AND OTM ACCN UNDER AGE B/R-I AT ITARANA MILITARY STATION, ALWAR MD AND OTM ACCN UNDER AGE B/R-I AT ITARANA CANTT, ALWAR

Cleaning and rodding of blocked sewage line of 100 mm dia and depth up to 1.50 m by manual/mechanical rodding and thorough flushing with adequate quantity of water between successive manholes over suitable lengths, by blocking the first and last manholes of the section under cleaning, until smooth flow is restored, including desludging of manholes at both ends and cleaning of sewage line from manhole to manhole or gully trap to manhole, removal of sludge, sewage and other deposits by manual/mechanical means, transportation in covered van/trolley outside MoD land, resetting of manhole covers and making good the area, including necessary precautionary and safety measures, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Desludging and dewatering of manholes for the sewage line under cleaning shall be measured and paid for separately under respective BOQ items according to depth of manholes.

Cleaning and rodding of blocked sewage line of 150 mm bore and depth up to 1.50 m, otherwise all as per description of item above, including rodding, flushing, desludging of end manholes, removal and disposal of sludge/sewage/deposits outside MoD land in covered van/trolley, resetting of manhole covers and necessary safety precautions, complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning and rodding of blocked sewage line of 150 mm bore and depth exceeding 1.50 m but not exceeding 3.00 m, otherwise all as per description of item above, including rodding, flushing, desludging of end manholes, removal and disposal of sludge/sewage/deposits outside MoD land in covered van/trolley, resetting of manhole covers and necessary safety precautions, complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning and rodding of blocked sewage line of 200 mm to 250 mm bore and depth up to 3.00 m, otherwise all as per description of item above, including rodding, flushing, desludging of end manholes, removal and disposal of sludge/sewage/deposits outside MoD land in covered van/trolley, resetting of manhole covers and necessary safety precautions, complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning and rodding of blocked sewage line of 200 mm to 250 mm bore and depth exceeding 3.00 m but not exceeding 4.50 m, otherwise all as per description of item above, including rodding, flushing, desludging of end manholes, removal and disposal of sludge/sewage/deposits outside MoD land in covered van/trolley, resetting of manhole covers and necessary safety precautions, complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of septic tank/sump of any capacity or description, including pumping out liquid contents, removal of accumulated sludge from all compartments including intercepting chamber, washing down with water and thorough cleaning, collection, loading, transportation and disposal of sludge outside MoD land in covered van/trolley at approved location, including necessary safety, hygiene and precautionary measures, complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of manholes up to 1.50 m depth by removing sludge, silt, clay and other rubbish by manual/mechanical means using honey sucker machine, suction motor mounted on vehicle, HCV-mounted suction and discharge machine with blow-back facility and sludge tank of adequate capacity or other approved means, including collection, loading, transportation and disposal outside MoD land in closed covered container/vehicle at approved location, washing of top and surrounding surfaces of manholes with fresh water and sprinkling of fresh unslaked lime to maintain hygienic conditions, complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of manholes of depth exceeding 1.50 m but not exceeding 3.00 m, otherwise all as per description of item above, including removal of sludge/silt/rubbish by suitable manual/mechanical means, pumping, collection, transportation and disposal in closed covered vehicle/container, washing and application of fresh unslaked lime, including necessary safety and hygiene measures, complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of manholes of depth exceeding 3.00 m but not exceeding 4.50 m, otherwise all as per description of item above, including removal of sludge/silt/rubbish by suitable manual/mechanical means, pumping, collection, transportation and disposal in closed covered vehicle/container, washing and application of fresh unslaked lime, including necessary safety and hygiene measures, complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning and de-choking of blocked sewage lines by diesel-engine-driven, vehicle-mounted, hydraulically operated high-pressure suction-cum-jetting sewer cleaning machine, fitted with high-pressure pump having minimum 4000 litre suction capacity and 6000 litre water jetting tank capacity, including skilled operator, supervisor/technical personnel and necessary labour, partial desludging of manholes and de-choking/flushing of sewage line from one manhole to another by high-pressure jetting system at approximately 2200 psi, for sewage lines 150 mm to 300 mm dia and of any depth, including collection, suction, transportation and disposal of removed sludge/debris and all necessary equipment, safety precautions and incidental works at Itarana Cantt, Alwar, complete all as specified and directed.
