Rigid Pavement Runway Works
Rolling, consolidating and compacting formation surfaces to 98% density at OMC in required camber in cutting/filling including watering as required, filling in hollows and depressions which occur during the process of rolling using tandem roller 8 to 10 tonne power roller and 10-12 tonnes vibratory roller all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying Dry Lean Concrete (DLC) 150mm thick having compressive strength not less than 7 Mpa at 7 days for each consecutive group of 5 cubes, individual strength of each cube must not be less than 5.5 MPs at 7 days (Para 4.1 IRC:SP:49-2014). (Grading and other parameters as per Table 1 (IRC:SP:40-2014). Minimum cement content must not be less than 140 Kg/Cum (Para 4.2 IRC:SP:49-2014) mixed in batching plant, transported to site and laid by sensor paver including spreading and compacting using double drum smooth wheeled rollers with 80-100 KN of static/ vibratory capacity including necessary formwork, finishing etc complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (a) Cement to be used shall be OPC-43 Gde only. (b) Separate WMM, GSB and Concrete batching plant to be established and rates of the same is inclusive in rates quoted. Notes for Srl item No. 2.02, 2.03 & 2.04 (Rigid payment items) : Extra width of 750mm required on either side of layers for movement of paver, T&P etc shall be provided by the Contractor at his own cost & nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Material and labour for 210mm thick Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) of minimum field flexural strength of 4.5 Mpa lower control limit (LCL) at 28 days in pavement slab using minimum 400 kg of cement per cum as per IRC 44 mixed with non-circular synthetic fibre (as per generic specification given by E-in-C's Br) by mechanical means at the rate of 0.25% by weight of cement per cum (or as specified by firm) of PQC. PQC must be laid, spread and compacted with slip-form paver. Curing by mechanical equipment, Texturing-cum-curing machine (TCM) including finishing of surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : (a) Cement to be used shall be OPC Gde-43 only (b) Separate WMM,GSB and Concrete batching plant to be established and rates of the same is inclusive in rates quoted. (c) Rate also includes for supply and applying of curing compound as specified & directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Supplying and laying 400 micron thick HDPE sheet (Virgin Quality) having minimum weight 390 gm/sqm over sand cushion as specified in the design with overlap between adjacent strips as minimum 300mm and transverse joints at ends as minimum 300mm etc complete as specified and directed. DG Set Works
Supply, Install, commissioning and testing complete silent Diesel Engine driven generating set capable of delivering 20 KVA developing 25.2 BHP or of next higher capacity as available/manufactured 415 volts (AC 3 phase, 4 wire system of supply) 50 HZ at power factor 0.8 minimum. The DG set shall consist of a diesel engine coupled directly to a matching parts or as recommended/provided by the manufacturer on a common base frame and thereafter installed in the CPCB approved acoustic enclosure. (The complete set conforming to and test certificates as per CPCB norms and as specified) all as specified complete with AMFcontrol panel standardised by manufacturer, fuel tank with mounting arrangement and inlet, outlet, return fuel pipe arrangement, flexible exhaust pipe with flexible coupling complete and shall comprise with the following :- (a) Engine:- (Prime Mover) Diesel engine 1500 RPM of minimum 25.2 BHP as per manufacture's design, Turbo charged water cooled, self starter 12 volt battery start, complete with fly wheel and all standard fittings/fixtures as per manufactureres design. Generator Monitoring Panel :- Comprising of following:- (i) Microprocessor based genset controller for metering, monitoring governing and protection. (ii) Engine protection for low lub oil pressure, high coolant temperature (alarm & shutdown). (iii) Alternator protection parameters like under voltage, over current under frequency, over frequency (alarm & shut down). (iv) Relay drivers for remote annunciation. (v) Cyclic cranking. (vi) Auto/manual starts/stops. (vii) Alternator trim adjustment from the front key pad. (viii) Operates within a temperature range 0-50 oC and humidity upto 95%. (ix) Genset metering parameters like lube oil pressure, coolant temerature, engine speed (RPM), run hours, DC voltage, 3 phase volts and 3 phase amperes, frequency, KW, KVA, Power factor.
(x) Safety controls :- Engine low lube oil pressure, high water temperature and over speeding of engine. (xi) Coupling arrangement Flexible coupling, fly wheel to suit flexible coupling fly wheel housing (b) Alternator: Alternator AC, 3 phase, 415 volts @ 0.8 p.f. , 4 wire rated line current for output 20KVA @ 1500 RPM, insulation class 1, enclosure/SPDP self excited, self regulated brushes, complete with AVR with +1 % voltage regulation directly coupled to and match the above engine. (c) Acoustic enclosure :- Provision of an integral type approved/certified acoustic enclosure (make of enclosure as authorised by the manufacturer's of DG sets and shall be complete as per CPCB norms for the DG sets to restrict the noise level to 75 db at one meter distance and temp rise within canopy shall not exceed 7 degree centigrade beyond ambient temp provided with one light point inside enclosure with lamp and exhaust fan to maintain the temperature inside the enclosure. It shall be made out of 16 SWG or manufacturer's standard norms CRCA sheet with powder coated finish on outside and provided with non igniting fire retardant foam as acoustic material. The doors & glass window shall be as per manufacturer's design. The base frame shall be of ISMC as per manufacturer's design. It shall also include the following :- (i) Silencer : Residential type. (ii) Internal wiring with PVC insulated stranded copper conductor, ISI marked, FRLS type of suitable size with copper lugs, thimbles etc. (iii) Fuel tank complete as per manufacturer's design of capacity 12 hours running (minimum) complete with fuel gauge with fuel pipes etc. (d) One Nos 12V x 88 AH maintenace free batteries (As recommended by manufacturer's with suitable battery charger).
Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6mm thick, buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 m below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.50 m below ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15 cm thick packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers, all around, top and bottom and electrode connection by using galvanized iron earth strip 25x4 as earth lead connected to GI earth plate electrode plate by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers made of galvanized iron and thimbles. galvanized iron pipe 20mm bore medium grade for watering with funnel and wire mesh including galvanized iron pipe 15 mm bore light grade for protection. PCC chamber in cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 and RCC pit cover in M -25 complete all as shown in Electrical Plate No 3 of MES Standard Schedule of Rates (Part- I) of 2009 complete all as specified and testing on completion.
