Excavation in soil in hilly area by mechnical means in all heights and depths, in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiselling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth lift upto all heights and all leads as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification of rural roads clause 1603.1. and 1603.2 of General condition for contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for constrution at suitable sites and safe disposal & dumping to be arranged by the contractor of unsuitable cut material in specified manner , trimming , filling of unevenness , blindage and finishing of the road to be specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for smooth riding . Minimum quantity of useful material such as stones, shingles, aggregates and slates etc. i.e 493.63 cubic metre, shall be sorted out and stacked along the road side properly, otherwise recovery @ Rs. 170/- per cubic metre shall be effected from the bills of the contractor. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining wall , breast wall , culvert , drain and parapet etc. in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil , ordinary rocks , hard rocks , chiselling /wedging out of rocks (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawing and MORD. technical specification clause 305.1,1104 and 1606.and their and as per direction of the Engineer - in -charge according to the HP.PWD. specification of 1990 (one thousand nine hundred ninety) volume-I (one) and sorting out useful and unuseful material and transportation of the unuseful material for disposing off to dumping site (To be arranged by the contractor) as per satisfaction of Engineer- in -charge through all modes of transportation including head load ,animal load or mechanical means along with its leveling fine dressing and with all kinds of labour, machineries, tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour ( if required ). All useful material such as stones, shingles aggregate and slates shall be properly stacked at site to the maximum possible extent in all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation and used /removed as per the direction of the Engineer - in- charge. Any loss to the public and private propriety during the course of execution and disposal of serviceable and unserviceable materials shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor and shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respects including all incidental charges.

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundation complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 in cement mortar 1:4:8: (1cement: 4 sand: 8 graded stone aggregate 25mm nominal size) material including all leads and lifts as per direction by the Engineer-in-chief

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete grade M-10 nominal mix 1:3:6 (one cement : three sand : six stone aggregate) 20mm nominal size concrete for plain concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 including all leads and lifts as per direction by the Engineer-in-chief

Random rubble stone masonry work in cement mortar in foundation complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 702, 704, 1202 and 1203 in cement mortar 1:6: (1 cement: 6 sand:) including all leads and lifts as per direction by the Engineer-In-Charge.

C/O dry rubble masonry for retaining walls, breast walls revetment walls and parapets etc. for sub structure and super structure complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 704.6 and 1302.5 material including all leads and lifts as per direction by the Engineer-in-chief

Providing and laying Stone coursed rubble masonry work (2nd sort) in cement mortar 1:3(one cement : three sand) for foundation complete as per drawing and technical specifications Clauses 702, 704, 1202 & 1204 material including all leads and lifts as per direction by the Engineer-in-chief

Providing and laying Stone coursed rubble masonry work (2nd sort) in cement mortar 1:6 (one cement : six sand) for foundation complete as per drawing and technical specifications Clauses 702, 704, 1202 & 1204 material including all leads and lifts as per direction by the Engineer-in-chief

Providing and laying rain force cement pipe NP2 900 mm dia. for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 but excluding excavation protection work, backfilling , concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets complete as per drawing and MORD Technical specification clause 1108 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge material including all leads and lifts as per direction by the Engineer-in-chief

Providing and laying flooring laid over cement concrete bedding of rubble stone laid in cement 1:3 (one cement : three sand ) complete as per drawing and MORD technical specfication clause 1303 and as per the direction of Engineer -in-charge including all leads and lifts as per direction by the Engineer-in-chief

Pointing with cement mortar 1:3 (one cement : three sand ) on coursed rubble masonary complete as per drawing and MORD technical specfication clause 1204.3.8 and as per the direction of Engineer -in-charge including all leads and lifts as per direction by the Engineer-in-chief

Back filling behind abutment, wing/ wall and retaining wall complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 1204.3.8 including all leads and lifts as per direction by the Engineer-In-Charge

Providing laying spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes 90 mm to 45 mm ( ninety millimeter to forty five millimeter ) grading -1 100 mm (one hundred millimeter ) consolidated thick to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth well roller 80-100 KN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming stone screening type -B binding materials to fill-up the interstices of course aggregate watering and compacting to the required density as per Technical specification clause 405 by Mechanical Means including hauling of material in all leads and lifts as jper the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge..

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.275 kg per sqm (Zero point two hundred seventy five kilogram per Squre meter) on the prepared dry and hungry bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals .

Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.85 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502.s per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals .

Providing and laying bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 (seventy five) tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder 5.4 to 5.6 (five point four to five point six) percent of mix and filler ,transpriting the hot mix to work site , laying with a laying hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No. 509 complete in all respects as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals .
