Comprehensive Maintenance of DG Sets with AMF Panel of Make: M/s Cummins and M/s Kirloskar including preventive maintenance checks of engine and alternator for trouble free function as per recommendation and attending break down/ complaint as and when required basis,monthly maintenance are regular basis. complete with Preventive maintenance('B' check) twice a year inclusive replacement of required necessary spares engine oil,coolent,Filters such as Fuel filter, by pass filter , lube oil filter and Air filter complete sets along with rectification of minor defects and cleaning of coolent tank with blower and filling/topping up and replacement of engine oil/coolant and tuning of engine for DG set as listed below all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

NOTE FOR ITEM NOS: 1.1 to 1.10:- (a) After monthly maintenance, the work to be certified by JE (E/M)/Engr-In-Charge on Job Card. (b) Cost of materials and labour as mentioned in Section-2 are not included with Comprehensive Maintanance, i.e. item No. 1.1 to 1.10 here-in-before. (c) The DG Set shall be maintained by the respective OEMs i.e.M/s Cummins and M/s Kirloskar or their authorized service dealer. (d) The comprehensive maintanance of DG Set under this contract shall be done through OEMs i.e. .M/s Cummins and M/s Kirloskar or their authorized service dealer. The contractor will have to submit MoU on stamp paper of Rs. 100/- duly notarized as per performa (on serial page No 114 & 115) within fifteen days of acceptance of tender, failing which the contract will be liable to be cancelled and work will executed as per policy invouge of the contractors default.

Notes Contd.../ (e) The contractor should submit the monthly test report of DG Sets conducted by the OEM with in first week of every month to the Engr-in-Charge, failing which recovery of Rs. 2000/- per DG Set per month shall be deducted from contractors dues. (f) Contractor has to carry out monthly maintenance with examination of suction and exhaust valves for smooth operation of DG Sets. (g) The contractor should send Technician to attend/ rectify the complaints for all DG Sets during 24 Hrs as and when complaint lodged for breakdown on call basis for any No of times during the month. (h) Contractor shall be responsible to monitor the followings of all DG Sets during Comprehensive Maintenance and contractor shall detail one supervisor to moniter DG set daily and submit weekly once of running Hrs, fuel consumtion and function of each DG set ,the report to concerned Engr-in-Charge/ JE E/M, the cost of same is deemed to be included in the quoted rate:- (i) Examination of fuel injection, nozzles. (ii) Check clearnce of suction and exhaust valves and adjust if required, (iii) Checking of oil filters, fuel filters screen filters assy. (iv) Maintenance of coolant level all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (v) Change of Hydraulic governor oil (vi) Change of anerold oil

(vii) Clean alternator winding in position by forced air and internal surfaces lubricate DE & NDE bearings (viii) Tightining of all nut bolts. (ix) Greasing of all parts. (x) Test IR value of alternator winding and recording the readings (xi) Checking of any leaking in fuel & oil lines and rectification of the same. (xii) Any other check as reqd for efficient running of equipment all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. (xiii) The rates quoted against the above mentioned Items is deemed to be included for cost of labour, cost of T & P required for replacement of unserviceable parts and cost of handling / transportation of defective item to & from civil workshop for repair if required. (j) The contractor shall carry out routine checking of the complete DG Sets and rectify the minor/major defects noticed immediately. If complaints were not . If complaints were not attended within 45 minutes the following penalties will be imposed and deducted from contractors dues :- (i) Rs. 500/- for not attending the complaint and keeping pending with in one hour/per complaint. (ii) Rs. 1000/- per complaint for not attending the complaint and keeping pending 2 hours to 8 hours/per complaint. (iii) Rs. 2000/- per complaint for not attending the complaint and

Section-II Supply and fixing in repairs of Rubber hose set for DG set of capacity 500KVA to 320 KVA complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Make: As Per OEM Recommendation

Dismantling/ taking out old unserviceable self starter assembly 24 volts from the DG set. Material and labour for rewinding with super enamelled copper wire of existing size & insulating the field coil assy, replacing bentec assy of the self starter assembly 24 Volts and refixing the same after repairs and testing complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Make:-FORD/ PRESTOLITE/ BOSCH/ DENSO/ MITSUBA)

Supply and fixing in replacement of battery charger capacity 6 Amp, 12 Volts for DG set complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Make:- SU-KAM/ AMCO/ SINETRAC/ WAC/ BCH/ AMARON.)

ditto- all as per item No 7 above but capacity of 15 Amp, 24 Volts for DG set. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Make:- SU-KAM/ AMCO/ SINETRAC/ WAC/ BCH/ AMARON.)

Supply and fixing in replacement aganist repairs of stop solenoid/ shut off valve of any capacity suitable for DG Sets of existing make along with screen Filter including wiring connecting to panel circuit, starting and testing on load complete all as specified and directed. Make: As Per OEM Recommendation

Supply & fixing in repairs of thermostat element alongwith complete assy for DG set connection and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.Make: As Per OEM Recommendation

Repairs and calibration of PT fuel pump as per the calibration procedure and norms as per manufacture's guide lines for DG Set of capacity from 500 to 250KVA including replacement of worn out and unserviceable"O'rings / shutt off valve/Plungers complete all as specified and directed

ditto- all as per item No 10 above butcapacity from 200 to 62.5KVA including replacement of worn out and unserviceable"O'rings / shutt off valve/Plungers complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing in replacement of Control assembly for DG Set capacity 200 to 320 KVA with necessary modification to controll wiring, replacement of controll relays , programming with all the parameters for safety protection and running suitable for the existing DG sets. of Make: Cummins/ Kirloskar

Supply and fixing in replacement of PCB assembly for DG Set capacity 320 to 250 KVA with necessary modification to controll wiring, replacement of controll relays , programming with all the parameters for safety protection and running suitable for the existing DG sets . Make: As Per OEM Recommendation

Supply and fixing in replacement of Automatic Voltage Regulator suitable for 320-100KVA DG set connecting with panel circuit, starting and testing on load all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

Supply and fixing in replacement of Megnetic pickup Sensor suitable for 62.5 to 320 KVA DG set connecting with panel circuit, starting and testing on load all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

Supply and fixing in replacement of Oil Pressure Sensor suitable for 62.5-320 KVA DG set connecting with panel circuit, starting and testing on load all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

Supply and fixing in replacement of Coolant Tempetarure Sensor suitable for 100 -320 KVA DG set connecting with panel circuit, starting and testing on load all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

Material & labour for opening / taking down radiator of DG set of any type / make and capacity cleaning / descaling using air compressor and cleaning with detergent etc and examining of water leakage of the same after cleaning , descaling and repairing of leakage, if any, using welding/brazing etc including replacement of all connecting parts i.e. radiator hose pipe with clamp, bolt, nut, washer, rubber bush, packing material etc and re-assembling the radiator, fitting with DG set properly in original position, checking the alignment, making proper hose connection, testing for smooth operation complete all as directed. Note : 1. The cost of replaced spares / parts is deemed to be included in quoted rates . 2. The cost of transportation (to and fro) for all kind of necessary equipment / T&P shall be arranged/brought by contractor to complete the job at site and no extra cost shall be paid to the contractor in this effect.

Cleaning of diesel tank of various capacity DG set inside/ out side of tank complete with drain out DHPP(N) and cleaning tank and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (1st grade quality) on out side of tank and refilling the DHPP(N) & testing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for removing of oil deposits and cleaning all the external surface of the DG sets along with enclosures and connected pipe lines from oil/paint/corrosion flakes completely and applying two coats of heat retardant paint using spraying machine/air compressor for the following DG sets of the existing colour Complete all as specified and directed.

Make: Deep-sea / woodward / power start of cummins / sedemac / L&T

ditto- all as per item No. 23 above but capacity of DG Set from 62.5 KVA to 250 KVA.

Supply&Fixing in replacment of 3 phase digital multi function meter with suitable accessories and fixing arrangements.complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Make:- L&T/ ABB/ Siemens/ Legrand/ C&S Electricals.

S&F in replacament of LED type phase indicator to be fitted on panel ( R,Y , B as per site requirement) Make:- L&T/ ABB/ Siemens/ Legrand/ C&S Electricals.

Removal of defective MCCB/Power contactor any capacity and fixing only new MCCB/Power contactor on existing LT/AMF panel in replacement including al fixing arrangements complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge. NOTE : New MCCB/Power contactor to be issued under schedule'B':

M & L to find out fault in LT line bring/call fault finding machine equipment and find out fault in any size of LT UG Cable including disconnecting of cable connection from both side panels/poles and necessary excavation in any type of strata to reach upto cable and making space for cable joint. Note:- (i) Cable required at site same size of faulty cable if required for jointing purpose will be paid in relevant item. (ii) Jointing material will be paid in relevant Item.Detect the location of default for supply of electricity with necessary machinaries or other applications for locate the pin point of the default of supply complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

M & L Cable jointing kit for 1.1 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through joint heat shrink type ( out door) complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3.5 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 25 sqmm to 50 sqmm all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Laying only in replacement of LT underground cable any size and capacity including cable connecting lugs, glands,jointing materials etc., laid in trenches, floors, roof, ducts and fixing using clamps, saddle for pole,making hole in wall as per requirement at site complete all as directed by Eng-in-charge of following:- NOTE:- i) Earth work included in above item no 31.ii) New LT UG cable to be issued under schedule'B':

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6mm thick, burried dirctly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meters deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washer of galvanised iron strip 32 x 6mm as earth lead as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part I connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, returning filling, disposal od surplus soil, earth pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate pit, funnel, 20mm bore GI tubing medium grade for watering pipe, 40mm bore medium grade GI pipe for protection of GI earth strip and pre-cast earth pit cover 50mm thick made of RCC (1:1.5:3) tyep A1 duly reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 100 mm c/c both ways, one lifting handle made out of 10mm dia TMT bar 250mm long embedded in cover slab and cover, wire, copper lugs etc mesh, charcoal and common salt in alternate layer of 15 cm thick including taking down old unserviceable one complete all as specified and directed.
