Gabian wall Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 mm, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned up to a lead of 1000 metres including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness.

Dismantling the R.C.C. Work 1:2:4 and sorting out the materials such as steel etc. as directed and stacking them within the specified lead as directed etc. complete.

Providing, constructing coffer dam in river basin / dam storages as per type design including excavation, filling the middle portion with B. C. soil (in gunny bags if required). Providing impervious / semipervious materials on both side of B.C. soil (in gunny bags if required) including ramming, compacting to the satisfaction of Engneer-in-charge, till the completion of work including dismantling coffer dam after completion of works and disposing off the material as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Pay line maximum- Top width payble shall be 2 m. and maximum payble side slopes shall be 1.5 horizontal to 1 vertical. if if the constructed top width of the side slops are less, then the measurements at actual are payble. Extra top width or flatter slopes are not payable. contractor is free to use ballies, plastic sheets, piles, pipes, C.G.I. sheets for supporting hearting materials instead of impervious/ semipervious hearting materials for which no extra payments shall be payble. 30% payment shall be withheld for dismantling of coffer dam. this foot note shall appear in tender condition

Excavation for foundation in earth, soil of all types, sand, gravel and soft murum, including removing the excavated material up to a distance of 50 m. beyond the building area and stacking and spreading as directed, dewatering, preparing the bed for the foundation and necessary back filling, ramming, watering including shoring and strutting etc. complete. (Lift upto 0.00 to 1.50 m.) By Manual Means

Excavation for foundation in hard murum including shoring and strutting, dewatering as necessary and disposing off excavated stuff as directed etc. complete. a) Upto 1.50m lift Normal Rate

Excavation for foundation in Soft rock and old cement or lime masonry foundations including removing the excavated material upto a distance of 50 metres beyond the building area and stacking as directed, including dewatering, preparing the bed for the foundation and necessary back filling with available earth /murum, ramming, watering including shoring and strutting etc. complete (lift upto 1.5m) By Mechanical Means

Excavation for foundation in Hard rock by blasting including trimming and leveling the bed by chiseling where necessary and removing the excavated material and stacking it in measurable heaps within a distance of 50 metres from the building area including dewatering and back filling with available earth/murum, watering, ramming, etc. complete. (Lift upto 1.5m) By Mechanical Means

Disposal of materials obtained from road cutting for a lead of over 5 KM

Dewatering on BHP basis by using water pump including diversion of stream, providing cofferdams, earthern bunds etc. as may be necessary for foundation and other parts of the the works and pumping out water during and after excavation as may be required by using 10.0 to 19.0 BHP pump etc. complete. (prior approval of Superintending Engineer will be necessary)

Filling in plinth and floors with approved excavated material in 15cm. to 20cm. Layers including watering and compacting etc. complete.
