SITE CLEARANCE & EARTHWORK
Removing excavated material (any type) and depositing it outside Ministry of Defence Land. Note for 13.01 (i) Before quoting the tender, the bidders are advised to ascertain the distance outside MD and, at which the excavated material/ debris are to be disposed off. No extra claim what-so-ever shall be entertained on this account. (ii) This item shall be considered as per the requirement at site. (iii) All excavation earthwork covered under Sch'A' part III to part XIII shall be measured and paid under this item.

INTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION
M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of 60 cm X 60 cm X 6 mm size, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead wire 4.0mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 5, connected to earthing test point including testing on completion, excavation, earthwork, PCC earth pit of dimensions 550 mm X 550 mm (outer) and 300 mm X 300 mm (inner) and 250 mm deep with a 10 mm deep CI cover hinged to CI frame on ground level, GI watering pipe, funnel, etc. all as specified and directed by Engineer- in - charge.
Material and labor for Earthing complete with copper plate electrode 600mm x600 mm x 3mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less then 2.25 meter below normal ground level with top edge of the plate not less then 1.50 meter below normal ground level connected to copper strip 20mmX3mm main earthing lead by means of bolts ,nuts ,check nuts and washers of brass all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I (2010) with connected to earth test point and to main switch board etc with & including adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt around earth place, PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate from earth pit with pre case RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate 40mm thick cover reinforced with 8mm dai TMT bars 3 Nos both way with 12mm dia MS round bar handle, GI light grade watering pipe 20mm dia with funnel and wire mesh & 40mm dia GI light grade earth lead protection pipe fixing necessary excavation earthwork complete all as specified or indicated including testing on completion. (for earth Strip conductor along the both sides walls of Hangar)
Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or nay other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 25X3mm copper strip to be fixed throughout along the hangar walls with angle iron and porcelain insulator, brass bolts and nuts all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
ROADS/ HARDSTANDING/ CULVERTS
M & L for Providing, Laying, Spreading and Compacting graded stone aggregate grading as per Table 400-13 and satisfying the physical requirement as per Table 400-12 of MORT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) for Wet Mix Macadam 150.00 mm thick, compacted in two layers ( 75mm + 75mm ) including premixing the materials with water to OMC in mechanical mix (Pug Mill), laying in uniform layers in sub base/base course on a well prepared base and compacting with power vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including guarding for surfacing works complete, all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.(For Road/hardstanding/Culverts+Pavement Quality Concrete)
PAVEMENT QUALITY CONCRETE
M & L for 400 mm thick Granular sub base using laterite, kankar in two layers consolidated to gradient and camber over sub grade compacted to MDD at OMC.
BLANK
M & L for 100 mm thick DLC of compressive strength not less than 10 Mpa at 7 days laid and rolled with double drum smooth wheeled vibratory roller of 8 to 10 ton capacity complete all as specified.
M & L for black polythene film of 400 micron thickness laid under rigid pavement all as specified.
M & L for PQC of min flexural strength 45 kg/per square centimetre on 28 days in pavement slabs using non circular synthetic fibre @ 0.25 % by weight of cement. 150 mm thick in single layer to required gradient incl necessary formwork along the joints compacting, finishing and brooming all as specified (Synthetic fibre shall be measured separately)
Supply only non circular synthetic fibre
M & L for forming 25 mm expansion joints filled with preformed closed cell polythene filler board, provision of closed cell polythene backup rod 30 mm dia, and sealed with pitch free polyurethene grey sealant (minimum depth of sealant above back up rod shall be 10 mm) conforming to BS-5212 (Type-FB) priming the side as recommended by manufacturer's instructions and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant applied for thickness of concrete slab 150mm complete joint sealant with MA (+/-) 30 % and 10 yrs performance warranty as used in international Airports in India all as specified and directed and as shown on drawings.
M & L for forming Contraction (Dummy) joints 20 mm deep x 10 mm wide (using diamond cutter) as soon as the concrete is strong enough to withstand edge spalling i.e. first cut as early as possible but not later than 24 hrs and filled with expanded polyurethene foam (armour board), applying bond breaker tape on top of armour board for complete width of joint incl provn of closed cell polyurethene backup rod 10 mm dia and sealed with pitch free polyurethene grey sealant (Min depth of sealant above back up rod shall be 13 mm) conforming to BS-5212 Type FB priming the sides as recommended in manufacturer's instruction and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after the sealant is applied, the sealant should have MAF (+/-) 30 % and manufacturer's warranty for 10 yrs used performance warranty as used in International Airports in India complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and as shown on drawings (Polyurethene joint sealant shall be used).
M & L for forming Construction joint 150 mm deep x 10 mm wide (Using diamond cutter) within 6 days of completion of curing provision of closed cell polythene backup rod 12 mm dia, provision of de-bonding strip of minimum 5 mm thick and sealed with pitch free polyurethene grey sealant conforming to BS-5215 (Type-FB) priming the side as per manufacturer's instructions and applying masking tape on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied complete. Note :- Before laying of adjacent slab, white washing/bituminous paint to the already casted concrete is to be carried out. The unit rate is inclusive of this provision, joint sealant with MAF (+/-) 30 % and manufacturer's warranty for 10 yrs as used as performance warranty as used in International Airports in India. complete asll as specified and as directed and as shown on drawings.
EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of factory made, CPRI type tested, indoor cubical compartmental type LT PANEL of suitable size, indoor type conforming to IEC 61439-1 & 2 and IEC 61641, having both sides openable with hinged double doors and locking arrangement, IP 43 protection made out of 2.0 mm thick mild steel CRCA sheet, supported and fixed on structural frame of angle iron of suitable size, including earthing stud, labelling, painting to all internal & external exposed steel surfaces with powder coating paint (7 tank process), duly fixed in ground with PCC foundation (1:2:4) type B1, with danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel vitreous enamelled (white) with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour suitable for 3- Phase, 4 Wire system, 500 V grade with necessary wiring, PVC sheathed stranded copper conductor of appropriate length and size, including fixing lugs, bolts, screws, etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Incoming (i) 200A, TPN MCCB, 4 pole with Micro processor based release having overload ,short circuit and Earth fault protection. (Ics=100% Icu) and with following :-1 Nos. Metering, Indication & Protection: (i) Voltmeter with VSS 1 Nos. (ii) 1 Nos. 6 parameter energy analyser with CTs (iii) supply available indicating lamps with control MCBs for each supply 1 Sets (iv) R-Y-B and ON/OFF indication lamps for each incomer (v) digital timer Bus Bar: 300A, TPN Al. Bus Bar of suitable length having Current density 1Amp/sq.mm & having high conductivity electrical grade suitable to withstand symmetrical fault level of 25 kA. Neutral busbar shall be of 100% capacity. Outgoings: (i) 40 A, TP MCCB with thermal magnetic release having overload and short circuit protection and each with ELR and CBCT -10 Nos Ics=100% Icu (for 3 phase power supply sockets-02 nos & EOT crane -01 nos) - 03 Nos. (ii) 32 A, TP MCCB with thermal magnetic release having overload and short circuit protection and each with ELR and CBCT -10 Nos Ics=100% Icu (for Air Compressor-01 No., TPN DB-01 No.) - 02 Nos. Supply and fix of perforated hot dipped galvanised iron cable tray having thickness not less than 50 microns and perforation not less than 17.5 % including fittings , joints, bends, tees etc. in convenient sections of length complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge of following sizes- a) 300 mm X 50 mm X 1.6mm

EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY
Cutting the existing water supply GI pipe line 50 mm dia and taking branch connection by inserting Tee (50 x 50 x 25mm) complete.
FIREFIGHTING
M & L for copper conductor of size 2 core, 1.5 mm², XLPE insulated armoured cables, conforming to IS: BS EN 60228, having annealed copper conductor, PVC inner sheath, single armouring of galvanized round steel wire, one layer of PETP tape wrapping, collective screen of PETP/Aluminum tape over tinned copper drain wire, RED in colour, including clamping, termination and ferruling complete all as specified and directed.
Cutting in position existing 150mm bore existing ERW main insertion of tee 150 x150x 100 mm bore for tapping out for branch connecting including connected fittings i.e. CI /MS Tee, collar, tail piece, run lead joints and necessary excavation, refilling and disposal of surplus material as directed by Engineer in charge.
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 2- way fire brigade draw- off connection with two 63 mm NB inbuilt gunmetal non-return valves instanteneous coupling type arranged on 100 mm NB pipe manifold and connected to wet riser main as well as to fire water tank including CI butterfly valve, CI non-return valve and MS cabinet with mounting supports, etc. all complete as specified and directed.
M & L for Construction of fly-ash brick masonary valve chamber of size 1000 mm X 800 mm X 1000 mm (internal dimenssions) with PCC foundation 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate, 150 mm thick & 150 mm wide offsets around over 100 mm thick hardcore , 200 mm thick fly-ash brick masonry walls built in CM 1:6, 100 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 Type B1 coping finished even and smooth, rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) finished even and smooth, with out using extra cement internally including top of floor including excavation earth work in hard/Dense soil 6 mm thick MS sheet cover fixed on 25 mm X 25 mm X 6 mm thick angle iron frame with hold fasts embedded in PCC coaping with locking arrangement, mild steel handle and painting to steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer including disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m etc complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for fire points made out from MS angle iron 40 x 40 x 6 cutting welding etc,including rain protection canopy made out of 2.0mm thick CRCA Sheet , painting with two coats of red post office colour all as directed for keeping various accessories.
S & F 9 Kg capacity Dry chemical powder (ABC) type fire extinguisher, conforming to IS 15683: 2006, with initial filling brand new cylinder with powder coated finish, fitted in gunmetal union, high pressure CO2 gas catridge discharge hose, wall mounting bracket/floor trolly mounting accessories along with suitable signage, etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge .
S & F CO2 type fire extinguisher of 4.5 Kgs. Capacity, (light weight squeeze grip type)CO2 gas filled in brand new seamless cylinder with powdercoated finish, made out of Manganese steel, with wheel type valve, discharge Nozzle, bend & horn, wall mounting bracket with suitable signage's complete, confirming to IS:2878 complete all as specified and diretced by Engineer-in-Charge .
S & F 25 Kg capacity Dry chemical powder type fire extinguisher, conforming to IS 10658 with initial filling brand new cylinder with powder coated finish, fitted in gunmetal union, high pressure gas catridge discharge hose, wall mounting bracket/floor trolly mounting accessories along with suitable signage, etc. trolly mounted complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge .
Supply and fix 50 Ltrs capacity fire exingusher Mechanical foam type fire extinguisher, confirming to IS 13386, with initial filling in brand new cylinder with powder coated finish fitted with gun metal union, hose with suitable signage etc. trolly mounted complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and Fix UV & TRIPLE IR FLAME (RADIANT ENERGY ) DETECTOR -Detector detects multi spectral sensitivity of fire by using UV&IR sensors , clear line of sight visual range upto specific distance ) triple spectrum Design for long distance detection &excellent false alaram sensitivity toensure no zone cross over detection high sensitivity combined with fast response time to ensure rapid and fast & accurate flame detection multiple output option for max flexibility and compatibility,(a) relays for FLAME DETECTION AUXULARYand FAULT(b) 0-20 ma stepped or 0-10 V stepped (c )optical heart protocolfor cofrigation setting (d) RS 485 heat detector extension (optional) connectivity via LOT (optional) test lamp compatibility for safe test. NOTE- Item description includes complete installation testing and commisioning, wiring connection with the main panel or any items not mentioned but essentially required for the sucessful installing and commisioning of IR/UV detector is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
LIGHTENING PROTECTION
M & L for chemical earthing using copper earthing strip 32x6 mm complete with copper earth plate electode 900mmx600mmx5mm thick buried directly in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 meters deep below ground level connection to and including copper strip of size 32x6mm to the extend 7.5 mtr as earth lead by means of Brass bolts, Nuts etc. with provision in diameter to a suitable depth of 2 meter ( electrode lenghth), mix backfil material nicely with dug out soil, throw handful of compound soil mix into pit, Remove plastic sleeve carefully from electrode, Place naked ekectride at center if pit, Refill space around electrode with backfil material in small quantities, Then pour some water and gently poke around the pit with a long wooden rod, to allow trapped air to escape, In this manner gradually continue refilling process till electrode in buried in pit, up to the green patch painted on top portion of electrode. Ensure that pit is not watery, pack electrode with compound tightly, so that it stands firmly in pit, pour in few bucket of water around pit, Back fill compound having specially formulated compound having high current conduct absorbing & retaining the moisture for long period, It reduce the ohm sor compound will be used around the earth electrodes at the time of SOR compound is to reduce resistance between electrodes and soil that the electrode output is constant. Sor compound use as back fill material. Cost includes PCC chamber and test points all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) Test earth resisvity of electrode. It is not satisfactory, give some time for electrode system to ser in soil, then check ohmic value and connect with equipment, In hard soil conditions, do not mix compound with dug out soil, use backfill comp. (b) On testing after complition if the desired earth resistance not more then one ohms is not obtained the earthing will be redone at no extra cost.
EOT CRANE
Design,manufacturing,supply, erection & commissioning of indoor type, medium duty class M5, Electrically operated travelling (EOT) overhead crane as per IS:3177 & 807(latest version), IS:2148 of 2004, capable of handling 10 metric tonnes (MT) main hoist with centre to centre clear span approximate 26 metres, double box girder type including floor operated moveable pendant control by means of push buttons independent of crab trolley position, protective panel with down shop lead (DSL), trailing cable complete with all accessories/ equipments duly painted with two coat of synthetic enameled paint all as per OEM specifications and as approved by Engr-in-Charge. The make of crane shall be as per approved list of make given in P.S or otherwise the manufacturer who installed the crane in MES department.
EOT crane shall be provided with the following electrically controlled movements type & as per Annex-I & PS :- (i) Capacity of crane : 10 Ton double box girder (ii) Clear span : 26 Metres approx each. (iii) Bay length :40 Metres approx. (iv) Hook height : 8 Metres from the floor level. (v) Longitudinal Travel speed :18.0/6 mpm (Dual speed Through VFD) (vi) Cross travel speed :18.0/6 mpm (Dual speed Through VFD) (vii) Hoisting speed : 3.5/1 mpm (Dual speed Through VFD) (viii) Micro hoisting speed : 0.6 mpm (ix) Control : Pendant control (x) LT wheel track size : As per OEM recommendations (xi) CT wheel track size : As per OEM recommendations
NOTES: (a) Unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include provision of electrical wiring of suitable size in rigid metallic conduits fixed on surfaces from main switch upto electrical control panels and provision of ISMC channel welded along with ISMS (gantry girder) and longitudinal travelling rail welded along with ISMC inclusive all supports, MS insulators & other fittings & fixture as reqd. (b) Clear span and bay length specified and shown on building are only indicative and variation in the span and bay length is permissible without any extra price adjustment. The quoted rate shall be inclusive of the same. The tenderer shall visit the site and ascertain exact span and bay length before designing /execution. (c) Gantry girder will be provided by Building Contractor (d) Dimensions,capacities/sizes of equipments/ accessories mentioned on drawing are minimum to be provided. Prior approval of Accepting Officer shall be obtained for the detailed construction drg and electrical wiring diagram of EOT crane and contractor shall incorporate only components wherever required and the rates quoted above shall deemed to inclusive of such provisions and its accessories before designing / execution. (e) Longitudinal/ cross travel shall be limited to 1.0 m away from the wall on both ends (f) The lowest bidder shall prepare Constructional drawing including specification as per the design of approved OEM. In case the lowest bidder is not OEM himself then lowest bidder shall submit Constructional drawing including specification for Approval of Accepting Officer. (g) Any technical clarifications regarding size, capacity rating and specification and drawings may please be clarified by the bidder from the E-4 section of this office before the Bid is submitted. he should also visit the site where the crane are being installed before submitting the Bid (h) The supply of gantry rail ( suitable size square bar or rectangle bar) including supply of DSL shrouded Copper bus bar system shall be included in the rate quoted. (i) The crane shall be fabricated after exact measurement at site. (j) The crane shall be manufactured as per latest IS-3177/2020 and related safety provisions as per latest IS. (k) The manufacturing and erection of complete crane will be executed by OEM only. (l) The rail for Long travel gantry girder is in the scope of building work & LT wheel and CT wheel track Sqbar has to be provided by the tenderer and cost for the same is to be included in unit rate . (m) The Drawing and design of crane shall be got approved by the contractor from Garrison engineer before manufacturing of crane. (n) Gantry rail made of required size of hot rolled, polished MS bright square bar duly welded to ISMC beam longitudinally including painting with 2 coat of epoxy paint over red oxide primer all as specified deemed to be included in quoted rate. (o) Testing of crane before dispatch, at manufacturer's factory workshop shall be carried out by a nominated Officer by Accepting Officer. (p) Main Girder will be provided by Building Contractor (q) The cranes shall be tested stage wise for 25%, 50%, 75% 100% and 25% overload, The rates for all manpower and material and testing arrangement required will be deemed to be included in quoted rates and nothing extra will be admissible on this account. (r) Gaurds will be provided all along length with approach ladder on both sides of crane with hand rail on both sides of ladder at a suitable level and ladders should have landing paltforms at every 4 to 5 mtrs or less. (s) Cap channel and rail of both sides is deemed to be included such provision and accessories before execution of work. (t) fabricated ladder on only one end of Long Travel to be provided with protective railings. (u) Protective railing on crane to be provided. (v) Overload alarm to be provided.
