Roughening of Entire Concrete/ Pavement surface by using mechanical means and preparing the roughended surface by wire brushes for removing the dirt, spalled concrete etc, sweeper or with compressed air to remove all dirt etc and depositing at places complete all as specified and directed.
Demolition of plain cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description not otherwise specifically provided for, including removing of demolished concrete to a distance upto 1.0 km including loading, unloading and stacking at the destination complete all as specified and as directed.
Material & Labour for repairing cracks in rigid pavement by making trapezoidal groove of required width and 30 mm deep with the help of chiseling or mechanical diamond cutter including removing loose material to a distance exceeding 2 KM as per directions of GE, cleaning the surface by compressor to remove all foreign matter and applying one coat of epoxy primer and filling in with epoxy repair mortar three components epoxy complete all as specified and directed.
Material & Labour for preparing PQC top sufaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat with Bitumen VG-10 @ 3.50 kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for premixed Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM) laid in layers as required for grade correction, thickness of each layer 50 to 100 mm thick (consolidated thickness) using minimum 4.50% binder content by weight of total mix (minimum marshal stability 900 kg) with paving bitumen of grade VG-30 penetration using hot mix plant and laid by using sensor paver, spread, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8-12 tonne vibratory roller etc as specified in IRC-111 and MoRTH complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content (paving bitumen VG-30 is used/approved in the execution of work under this item. (b) Thickness of DBM shall be provided as required for grade correction as directed by GE. (c) Thickness of each layer to be laid shall be got approved by before execution. (d) 50% extra over minimum thickness of DBM has been considered for changes in Grade correction layer in grade mapping survey. (e) Thickness for execution of DBM shall be considered after grade mapping survey.
Material & Labour for 400 Micron thick transprarent HDPE plythene film of GRADE-I conforming to IS-10889 as anti-friction layer on the base course as per specification with specified overlap between adjacent strip and transverse joint etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Side lap shall be 150 mm and end lap shall be 300 mm. The rate quoted shall be deemed included for the laps.
Material & Labour for 225 mm thick Pavemet Quality cement concrete (PQC) work in pavement/Dispersal/taxi link of minimum field flexural strength 40 kg/ sqcm (lower control limit) LCL after 28 days of pavement slab using minimum 400 kg ordinary portland cement Grade 43 per cum with not exc 31.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate conforming to IS: 383(grading and other parameters as per table 600-1 of MoRTH, IRC SP 49 specification) and mixed with non circular synthetic fibre reinforcement @ 0.25% of weight of ordinary portland cement grade 43 of PQC or as per manufacturers instruction, mixed in batching plant transported to site, laid in panels, spread and compacted using slip form sensor paver, mechanically vibrated and bull nosing/rounding off the edges, curing compund, finishing the surface by beliting and brooming without using extra cement etc including necessary form work etc complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (a) Flexural strength shall be established by beam test and design mix formula should be compactible to as per IRC-44-2008, IS-456. (b) The non circular fibre synthetic reinforcement mixed with concrete shall be measured and paid separately as 'supply only' under respective item (c) All types of joints shall be measured and paid spearately under respective items . Curing compound shall be applied at the paving stage after broom finish and surface is dry and rate for use of curing compound shall be included in the unit rate quoted. (d) No deduction shall be made from concrete for space occupied by construction and dummy joint. However, deduction shall be made for the space occupied by expansion joints.
