Fabrication, erection, testing and commissioning of one number MS Cradle of size 12.7 m x 5.40 m for single slipway above the existing ramp at fish landing center, Junglighat, Port Blair.

Fabrication, erection and assembling of steel structures of the cradle as per the size, shape & design of IRS & department approved drawings as per the direction of EIC and under the inspection of IRS according to the standard welding procedure of IRS, (3 run welding wherever required) cleaning the surface free to rust and applying one coat of primer paint including cost of all labour charges, tools & plants, gas carbide, welding electrodes, transportation of materials from central stores, cost of primer paint, painting, GST, Labour welfare cess but excluding the cost of steel items such as angles, ISMB 200, plates, wheel brackets, wheels & bolts and nuts, etc which will be supplied by the department on free of cost at ALHW central stores. IRS inspection charges will be paid by the department.

Fixing the new single wheel bracket with wheel by providing holes in required position on base plate and top plate and fastening wheel bolts and nuts etc. including cost of all labour charges, minor tools, transportation charges, machine shop charges, GST, Labour welfare cess etc., But excluding the cost of single wheel bracket with wheel, bolts and nuts which will be supplied by the department on free of cost.

Supplying, cutting making new superior hardwood timber pads of size 50 cm x 30 cm x 16 cm, making hole in base plate for fitting the new timber pads on completion of works by using bolts & nuts including cost of timber, all labour charges, minor tools and plants,Transportation cost, GST, Labour welfare cess but excluding the bolts & nuts which will be supplied by the department on free of cost.

Supplying, cutting making new superior hardwood timber pads of size 100 cm x 50 cm x 16 cm central position of the cradle, making holes in base plate for fitting the new timber pads on completion of works by using bolts & nuts including cost of timber, all labour charges, minor tools and plants, transportation cost, GST, Labour welfare cess but excluding the bolts & nuts which will be supplied by the department on free of cost.

Scrapping and cleaning the steel surface of cradle and applying one coat of Zinc chromate/ red oxide primer on Cradle and two coats of synthetic enamel black paint on cradle including cost of all labour charges, cost of primer paints, SE paints, thinner, brushes, tools and plants, scaffolding arrangements, GST, labour welfare cess etc. complete.
