REPAIRS TO CERTAIN ROADS INCLUDING ROAD FURNITURE ITEMS UNDER GE(NORTH) SECUNDERABAD

M&L for repairs to pot holes of any depth and not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc., cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling screnned graded road metal , watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal ), complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen any penetration @ 4% by weight of total mix, laid / rolled compacted to required gradient and camber( consolidated thickness 75mm or less) all as specified and as directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc. 400 sqm and exc 50 mm and n exc 100mm deep complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced WBM surfaces brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen VG-30 grade complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 kg per 10 sqm using paving bitumen VG-30 grade complete all as specified and directed

M&L for bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete consolidated thickness 30 mm with 5.5 % binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG -30 grade, mixed in hot mix plant, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient etc, with mechanical paver and rolled with 8 to 12 Tonne power roller and all as specified and directed.

M & L for Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc. on road surfaces / over speed breakers, pavements and the like exc 10 cm and n. exc 30 cm wide with 2 to 3mm thick thermoplastic road marking paint using automatic road marking spray machine including preparing black top surface by fanning out dust and any other foreign matter complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs road delinators as per IRC-79-1981 (road way indicators) dual directions, retro reflective, round delinator made out of 16 gauge MS pipe 75mm dia and of height 900mm duly powder coat painted and provided with three reflective band of colour red, white and yellow colour, 150mm wide and 50 micron thick and protected with welded wire mesh cage including necessary excavation of size 300x300x450mm and PCC 1:2:4 type B2 foundation complete all as directed. S&F solar studs AK - 970 of Aktion make pasted on bituminous / concrete surfaces with adhesive as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as directed. Make : Akiton or equivalent in 3M / Mr. Illumination / Dark Eye

S&F Road cat eyes duly fixed with approved adhesive as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and as directed. Make : 3M of series 290C or equivalent model in Mr. Illumination / Dark eye/Aktion as approved by GE.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n.exc 0.5 cum., getting out, returning filling in and ramming earth or broken bubble mixed with earth around in layers not exc 25cm watering and removing surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50 mtr and making good surface in hard/dense soil.

Dismantling steel work including posts embedded in concrete, sign boards etc. complete all as directed

S&F of Road junction / information sign board, (4 feet x 2 feet) prepared on both side 3 mm thick ACP sheet fixed on SS framework of square tube (25x 25x 5 mm) as per manufacturers instruction including reflective sheet HIP (3M or equivalent Make with 3 year warranty certificate), border/ letters/ numerals and arrow, coated with non pealable crystal clear protective transparent coat retaining 100% reflection. The framework shall be welded on 2 Nos vertical post of 50 mm dia mirror polished SS pipe of 304 grade welded with holdfast 2 Nos of flat Iron (40x6 mm) 150 mm long . Height of board shall be 2.55 m above GL and 0.45 m below GL and 0.60 m shall be embeded in 0.60 x 0.60 x 0.75 m size PCC of 1:3:6 (Spec. IRC 67) complete all as specified and directed.
