REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF INTERNAL ROADS INCL ROAD FURNITURE IN DLRL AND SECUNDERABAD AREA UNDER GE I RND KANCHANBAGH HYDERABAD

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Preparing old black top surfaces with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bag to remove all loose dirt etc, and including applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer of grade VG 10 at the rate of 5kg per 10 sq.m, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Premixed bituminous semi dense ashphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen of Grade VG - 30 as binder with 5.5% minimum binder content by weight of total mix and laying with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for providing and applying 2.0 mm thick road marking strips (retro reflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications.

M&L for providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete.(straight or curved) and finished exposed surfaces fair and even including demolition of old kerbs complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of new surfaces of brick, stone, concrete, asbestos or plaster surfaces of any description over 10cm girth or width, not otherwise described and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of priming paint (plaster coat) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA strip lens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions.

Supply and fixing in repairs metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repairs for fully reflective sign board, 900mm to 1000mm width and 600mm to 750mm height made of 18 guage, CRCA sheet framed with 25mm square pipe duly painted with enamel paint; fixed to the post ,the board shall be of blue colour on base and written with retro reflective tape using engineering grade on both side with and including provisioin of necessary excavation in post holes not exceeding 0.5 cum each, demolition of PCC, disposal of debris to a distance not exceeding 50metre, PCC 1:2:4 type B2 (40mm graded stone aggregate) in foundation of size 450mm x 450mm x 450mm including providing and fixing MS square pipe post size 47mm x 47mm x 4.5 mm and 3000mm long and embedding the same in PCC, complete all as specified and directed. Note: All exposed steel surfaces shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer .
