Taking down carefully unserviceable copper/aluminum point wiring from existing conduit pipe (light, fan, socket or power point) complete including removal of unserviceable fittings such as hylum sheet, switches, ceiling rose, pendent holder, sockets, regulator, sunken boxes etc but except concealed conduit, including making good the disturbed surface of walls, floors, ceilings etc. to match with the adjoining work, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Point wiring complete with 1.5 Sqmm (nominal cross section area) FRLSH PVC insulated unsheathed and multi strand copper conductor cable 1100 volt (ISI marked) drawn through existing concealed PVC rigid conduit, but new MS sunken box of suitable size, 3mm thick bakelite plastic laminated sheet for mounting of switches and socket, fan regulator, wiring for light /fan/bell point controlled by one switch, including provn of 1.5 Sqmm FRLSH PVC insulated multi strand copper conductor wire continues as earth wire connected to earth dolly etc. and making good disturbed surfaces of walls/ceiling/floors etc. by using CM (1:3) to matching with existing surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Supply and fixing in replacement of 3mm thick phenolic sheet 4 inch x 4 inch including suitable machine screws as required, including taking down old unserviceable sheet and un screwing serviceable / unserviceable switch / socket / regulator etc and serviceable switch / socket / regulator etc shall be refix after proper cleaning on new sheet, at any site as per daily complaint basis complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- New switches, sockets, regulator etc. if required in replacement with unserviceable the same shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ as supply only and labour for fixing shall be included in unit rate of this item).

Supply and fixing in replacement of 3mm thick phenolic sheet 7 inch x 4 inch including suitable machine screws as required, including taking down old unserviceable sheet and un screwing serviceable / unserviceable switch / socket / regulator etc and serviceable switch / socket / regulator etc shall be re fix after proper cleaning on new sheet, at any site as per daily complaint basis complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Material and labour for Earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, connected to and including earth continuity GI wire 4 mm (upto test point from earth plate i.e. 7.5m min) by means of GI bolts/nuts/washers and including protected by 15mm dia GI light grade protection pipe from earth plate to test point, including making of test point made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos- 8mm dia 25mm long hex head screw. Earth plate shall be surrounded by packed layer of char coal/coke & salt all around bottom and top with alternative layer. 20mm GI light grade pipe for watering (should be 10cm above GL) and including socket, plug, funnel, wire mesh, CI cover 10mm thick hanged to CFI frame, PCC chamber pit made with PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), including necessary form work, excavation and earth work in any type of soil , returning filling and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m, complete all as specified & shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR 2009 (Part-I) complete all as specified and and as directed by Engineer-in-charge, including taking out/dismantling old unserviceable earthing system. Note:- (i) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner. (ii) The earth testing arrangement should be done by the contractor as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
