Taking up defective cast iron water mains (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead from ground, cleaning the pipes free from sedimentation/scaling etc for reusing the serviceable pipes complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes:-

150mm bore.

200mm bore.

300mm bore. Note:- Excavation and earth work and lead joints shall be measured and paid separately.

Re-laying only cast iron pipes obtained from in item No.6 above including laying level or to falls, in trenches, on the ground or on supports complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes:-

150mm bore.

200mm bore.

S&F Ductile iron pressure pipes 300 mm bore class K9, centrifugally cast with spigot and socket ends conforming to IS 8329/2000 with cement mortar lining inside the pipes and outside zinc coating suitable for push-on-joint (rubber gasket D jointing) in any length including DI specials as required at site confirming to IS 8329/2000 and all jointing materials and making good for disturbed surfaces of roads, path ways etc while laying the pipe line at site, site clearance for the route of pipe line, welding, cutting the existing CI/DI/MS pipe line of any size up to 150 mm bore for inserting branch connections etc complete including taking down old unserviceable CI pipes all as specified and directed.

Notes for item No. 3 to 7:- (a) Lead Joints / D-Joints will be measured and paid separately. (b) The contractor is responsible for obtaining the approval from Police Department for Traffic Diversion and related works if required in consultation with the MES deparatment. (c) Contractor is responsible for repair/replacement of any damages to the existing structures, Under Ground HT/LT/OFC Cables etc during the course of execution.

M&L cutting of road / hard standing up to a sxe not exc 60 cm in width and 60 cm depth for laying of water pipe line complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded aggregates as in foundation, filling and mass concrete for pole / stay / post including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in coping of poles / foundation for poles, struts, posts etc including necessary form work, finished the exposed surfaces fair and even without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Repairs to potholes / road cuttings any depth, not exceeding 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m of paving bitumen, putting in premix as specified for thin bituminous carpet (2 cm thick) , well rammed and sealed with pre mixed sand seal coat (6.8 kg of paving bitumen with 0.06 cum sand ), again well rammed (including supply of premixed binder and sand), depth of pot holes not exceeding 30mm.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5m wide and not exc 1.5m depth for laying of pipe lines, valve chambers, man holes etc including forming bottom surface to required level and gradient and getting out in hard /dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cms thick in soils complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Construction of brick masonry valve chamber of size 1000 x 1000 x 1000 mm (Internal dimenssions) with PCC foundation 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate 150 mm thick, 150 mm wide off sets allround over 100 mm thick hard core, brick masonry walls built in CM 1:6, 50 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 Type B1 coping finished even and smooth, rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) finished even and smooth, with out using extra cement internally and 150mm below GL externally and top of floor including excavation, earth work in hard/dense soil, 5 mm thick MS sheet cover fixed on 50 mm x 50 mm x 6 mm thick angle iron frame with hold fasts embedded in PCC coping with locking arrangement, mild steel handle and painting to steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer including disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L ductile iron specials and fittings class K9 such as bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type, (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) tee pieces, single branch. "Y junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps and plugs suitable for DI pipes of flanged/socket ends of sizes 100mm bore to 300 mm bore as in repairs complete all as specified and directed .

M&L ductile iron specials and fittings class K7 such as bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type, (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc) tee pieces, single branch. "Y junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps and plugs suitable for DI pipes of flanged/socket ends of sizes 100mm bore to 300 mm bore as in repairs complete all as specified and directed .

S&F in replacement of unserviceable Air rlease valve both ends flanged with CI body, ISI marked, IS 14846, pressure PN 1.6 with SS spindle with clamps and check nuts, operating hand wheel complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes:-

80 mm bore.

100 mm bore.

Supply and laying pipes ERW steel inlcuding specials, nominal dia 150mm as per IS 3589 (1981) 6.00mm thick and including taking down of unserviceable ERW/CI pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F MJ collar double ended flanged ISI embossed pressure 1.6 including jointing such as rubber gasket, nuts and bolts, washers materials etc complete including replacement of unserviceable sluice valves of any type complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes:-

300 mm bore.

Supply and fixing in replacement of DI rising Spindle Resilient seated Gate Valve PN 16 (Soft Sealed) soft sealing gate valves (Sluice valves) with body bonnet of ductile cast iron of grade GGG-40/SG-400/15 or GGG-50/SG-500/7 or equivalent grade as per IS 3896- Part - 2-1985 and subsequent revisions, wedge fully rubber lined with EPDM food grade quiality and Seals of NBR and the valve should be vacum tight and 100 % leak proof with face to face dimention as per BS 5163-89/IS 14846-2000/DIN 3202 F4 and Valves should be electrostatic powder coating both inside and outside pocket less body passage.including all jointing materials (Gasket, Nutbolts ets) connecting , testing and taking down old unservicable sluice valve complete all as specified and directed
